Lincoln Road is just becoming a NY eating twin. First Rosa Mexicana, then Shake Shack, Dutch, now Serendipity 3. Anyone remember Cafeteria? Sadly Cafeteria was laid to rest many years ago.

Serendipity 3 is cute and packed! Tried to swing by a couple of times but since it was the holidays, need I say more? Anyways, here is announcement of the new kid on the block. In case you haven't heard, Ghirardelli has some competition.

I'm excited to visit and stay next time. Will probably do this during the week, middle of the day.

Small detour from our original destination..the Waffle House. After reading reviews and realizing we were much closer to this joint.....and hungrier by the mile.

It was cute and kitschy. The service was fast and polite. Ate breakfast and it is what you expect. Solid breakfast spot.

I like the decor of the place. We sat outside in the garden area. It's winter in Miami but sure doesn't feel like it. Best time of year to sit outside.

Blue crab jalapeño zucchini pizza definitely order. The wahoo dish was good. I wasn't overjoyed. But it was fresh. The trofie pasta was hearty with a rich pesto flavor. We didn't make it to dessert. I read about their desserts on yelp. But when it came down to it, I just wanted to go for a walk by the pool.

Only :( was that tonight the draft beer was out of service. The waiter was nice and attentive.

All I really need to say is "online search".

That's the most genius part of this and any library in the Dade County system. Just go and request your book online. And if you're really lazy have them mail it to you.

Really like this space. This yard in the center makes you feel good to walk on sand while at work. The rooftop deck is cool. Remember to wear shades even when in the beach house. And control yourself from eating too much of the cakes Christian leaves in the kitchen for crews to eat.

I went to a kid's birthday party here in Miami that had MGE there. They were really consumed by the games. It is pretty neat to see how things have changed from bounce houses to dancing and rocking out through a video game. I didn't realize that so many kids could be inside of one game.

I talked to the rep that was there for Mobile Gaming Events and he said they do corporate events and bigger parties like bar mitzvahs. I had never thought of doing this before. It's pretty cool and I hope I get to play next time I'm at an event with this. This time I just watched. I might have to find somewhere to practice first. DOH! Show owner comment »

First time here was a week ago. The server was really nice and just a tiny little snooty when I mentioned that I hadn't heard of BVB before. He asked where I lived and when I said South Beach, he said something to the effect that he wasn't surprised I hadn't been there before. I work at studios all over Little Haiti, Design District, Midtown and etc. Don't be scoffing at me just because I'm from the beach.

Besides this he was very patient and informative regarding the dishes and flavors. I tried a little bit of the pumpkin soup and it was ok. The tuna tartare was pretty good. I had the Red Silk fish I think it was called. I liked it but would probably try something new next time.

I'm interested in trying this place for brunch. My friend said the Bistro Bakery next door is really good.

I liked the idea and decor of the place. The service was good. Laid back and great for dates if you're looking for a place off the beach.

I called ahead to make sure there would be a waxing person there for me. It was quick easy seemed sanitary. I had them do my full legs first to see how that went. And after I concluded the lady knew what she was doing, I added a lip and underarm. The total was $43. That was well worth it. Just full legs in Miami is $55.

I didn't do any other services, but if I'm in the neighborhood again I will go back for waxing.

After so many visits to the Hudson Hotel, I'm trying to think of what my tips are. Golden tips that you won't find on their website.

There is a basement lounge that has happy hour and live music during the week.

If you are going in and out of the hotel ALOT you don't have to enter through the main entrance/ pass-push the heavy glass doors/ up the escalators/ walk across the lobby and then wait for an elevator to get to your room. I prefer to go in through the black double swing doors found if you walk towards Columbus Circle from the main entrance. Go straight in and just wait for an elevator. You are in G level. This is also where they take your luggage if you need the hotel to hold it. I never enter and exit through the lobby anymore.

The only thing the hotel rooms are lacking is more/better lighting.

The staff is great, helpful, and attentive.

If your room isn't ready for check-in, there is a great dark area set apart behind a brick wall with comfy couches. Last time I was there, I snuggled up on a corner of a couch after seeing three other people with the same idea. Very nice of the Hudson to provide what they probably did not intend to be a "napping" room for new guests without rooms

OMG cornflake french toast nutella sandwich topped with carmelized bananas and strawberries. Huwhat!

The menu is limited. But when you have goodness like that, who needs an expansive menu. The location is cute and off the beaten path. I wouldn't want to go there at night walking alone. For brunch during the day no problem.
