These are the best wings in the whole New Orleans metro area. The sweet heat with some bleu cheese sauce is where it's at. my only complaint is that they cram all your food in one tiny little box.

The staff here are amazingly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went in to buy a last minute replacement Tails shirt, and the lovely young lady helping me had several sizes readied for me to try on. The shirt was of an impeccably high quality as well. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest them to anyone who has the means to shop there.

Uhhh, I felt kind of like I went to lunch at an auto body shop or an electrical parts supply warehouse. The food was decent, but I felt like $11 was a bit steep for a poboy and a coke, especially with the amazing location/decor that they had.

The atmosphere here is amazing, and the food is very good. This place probably has the best enchiladas in the metro area, and the Pork Taco was amazing. The service wasn't super special, but I have no complaints about it. My one complaint is the parking on Harrison at dinner time; I ended up a couple of blocks into the neighborhood. Parking for magazine street is easier.

I had a pretty basic Meatball poboy. They did a good job. Your average Metairie Italian food/sandwich joint. There's not really much more to say about it.

I ordered steak fajitas and got Brought a NY Strip atop some veggies with a side of tortillas. This wasn't fajitas, this was a steak. I love it.

As much as the black cat did impress me with surprises like that, it was a bit pricey even for its high quality.

This is the Bud's nearest to my office, so I end up here rather frequently. It's in a crappy CMU building with linoleum floors and none of the charm of, say, the City park Bud's, but they are prepared for a lunch rush that one would expect of a location surrounded by office buildings and retail establishments. They DO take credit cards. and, oh yeah, #4 with smoke sauce - yes to the onions.

Saint Louis Cathedral

The Basilica of St. Louis, King of France, i.e. "the Cathedral" to the locals is the seat of the Archbishop of New Orleans, is the oldest continuously operating Cathedral in the U.S. and is outranked by only the Major Basilicas of Rome, and of course, St. Peter's in the Vatican.

This beautiful church has been a very historic centerpiece for New Orleans through out its history, and if you've never been, it is definitely worth checking out.

St. Louis Cemetery No 1

This hallowed ground is such a magnificent square overflowing with the history barely contained within its mausoleum lined walls. Many of the most famous of historically significant New Orleanians lay within the confines of this small block. It really is a must see, but I suggest a tour so that one can learn the some of the finer detail of the place that he would not discover merely from exploring on his own.

I only hope that "Save Our Cemeteries" (who offers tours) and the Archdiocese can pull together the funding required to stabilize and even possibly restore this wonderful treasure.

The Company Burger

A patty of mediocrity inside of oa bun of pretension. My wife and I ordered two burgers and nothing else. our friends were getting sides, so we just ordered two single patty cheese burgers. The cost for that? $16. SIXTEEN DOLLARS for two thin patty cheese burgers. no drinks, no side, nothing else.

The meat had no perceptible taste whatsoever, and my lower bun was soggy from all the blood on it. I'm not sure how that much blood got on it considering the burger seemed to be cooked a hair past well done (which would not have been my preference, but I wasn't asked). The bun was very good, and the variety of mayo options were all very nice; the basil one was particularly good at covering up the taste of char on my burger. the cheese like the meat had no flavor.

My wife asked for a tomato on her burger and was told that the chef thought that local tomatoes aren't good enough for this burger, thus they do not offer it as an option. This was not only disappointing, but it made no sense, and was border-line insulting. If you don't like our local produce, open your burger place somewhere else.

Although, there were no signs indicating it, you are supposed to bus your own table (yet they still have a tip jar and a tip lie on the receipt - what I would be tipping for I have no clue).

they also don't give plates. our burgers were just placed on the tray they gave us. This forced us to have to lean across the table to share our tray. Also, condiments and the blood that soaked the bun dripped all over the table. I hope that they didn't expect me to clean that up also.
