Itaewon-Manager, Tata Kang, 128-13 Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-Gu, Seoul South Korea, 02.749.5101: Climbed up stairs-no elevator for the disabled, street parking (Good luck finding parking! Better off riding subway to Itaewon!) Sorry~for relaying the sad, logistic details.
This Outback is surprisingly on par with Pinole! I was vehemenently astonished! The Itewon Korean portions are smaller, but interestingly, this Outback serves a twist of side dishes I find uncommonly eaten in USA.
What I will say is that the SFO United Airlines ticket counter agent who served me on February 6, 2009 allowed me to bring two extra suitcases weighing over 70 lbs. for free, since I complained I could't chill out in the lounge.
In addition, the male ticket agent also gave me the bulk head seat, so I had more leg room without paying more for the leg room seating.
I will be flying United Airlines home for a short business trip. I hope the ticket agent at Incheon Airport is as cool as the male ticket agent at SFO USA! USA here I come!

Pizza Hut-it doesn't matter where the location is located-the pizza prices are way too expensive and the quality of the pizza needs desperate improvement . . . the pizza served 1 mile away from my home in Tara Hills is no better than the Pizza Hut in Sokcho. Sauce is weak and tasteless, crust is too thin. whatever-Pizza Hut, please tell your heads to improve all locations because the Pizza Hut pizzas served ANYWHERE is just as bland as bland can be such as tasteless, non-saltine crackers!
Yukko phooey!
I think Koreans CANNOT make burgers . . . Koreans better stick to making Bulgogi instead of burgers at a fast food restaurant such as McDonald's!
Yeah-come to think of it . . . drinking a Singapore Sling from that Uber-expensive Hotel off Central and eating a QP didn't taste very good, either.
Oh, hey-just for kicks-I took pics of different McDonald's I have visited around the planet . . . tres bizarre! Regarding the McDonald's in Spain , these restaurants serves wine and beer; these beverages are listed NEXT to the Kiddie Menu!
Hawaii serves Spam breakfast, Philippines serves Longanisa breakfast, Koreans serves Bulgogi Burger (tastes nasty!), and Singapore tastes like USA burgers. Who knew?

Who knew that McDonald's aside from their normal menu fare that this corporation has devised eeking their way into every nook and cranny globally AND tailoring their short menu list to the local cuisine where the McDonald's property is located? Locations varying from the hamburger joint by the Century 21 Theaters three miles from my humble abode to cafe bistro vibe yuppy restaurants in San Diego County San Diego California to Internet cafe portals located at Singapore Airport, Hong Kong's Kowloon District by my fav hang out-Dragon Hostel, Bangkok, Thailand's MBK Shopping District, and Manila Philippines seediest, uber run-down neighborhoods!
McDonald's-yes, a USA corporation . . . who amongst the vast numbers of Yelpers can possibly envision seeing the McDonald's logo written in a plethora of language scripts like i have taken pics of and seen with my own eyes in disbelief? I have pics of McDonald's around the world, but I cannot, dare not post these prized global McDonald's pics not until YELP goes GLOBAL!
However, since McDonald's is a US corporation, I can legally write about this corporation's business, marketing, and real estate practices! Can you believe in Benalmadena Costa Spain, Rock of Gibraltar, Great Britain, Marseille France, Munich Germany and Genova Italy's McDonald's hamburger joints all posts a beer and wine menu next to the Kiddie Happy Meal menu? Or can you possibly envision McDonald's serving a spam breakfast in Maui? Or how about serving pancit noodles in Tagaytay or eating a fried chicken meal for $1.00 at the Baclaren Market Manila Philippines or serving a Portuguese meal & eating a meat filled egg roll in Macau? Or how about eating a veggie egg roll with chow siu bow and har gow in Kowloon Hong Kong McDonald's property?
The most expensive real estate McDonald's owns by my opinion is the panoramic view located in the high vistas above Hong Kong way past where the normal buses stop operating! The only way getting to this McDonald's is by hiring a taxi paying 7800 Hong Kong dollars getting to the top!
Well-I really shouldn't complain about McDonald's too much because Kentucky Fried Chicken, Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, Long John Silvers who closed their doors in my neck of the woods recently, Burger King, and including Dave from Wendy's have made the big puddle jump across the pond! I really am wondering how long will it take these major food franchises infiltrating into Cambodia where this poor nation cannot afford the $1.00 menu meals!
Now-let's talk about the kids and the Kiddie Happy Meal:
I don't care where the kids live on the planet, but repeatedly-everywher e I travel, I see fat kids who frequent McDonald's! As far as children are concerned living in third world countries such as the Philippines, Kiddie Happy Meals are distributed throughout one nucleus family of six because they cannot afford spending for adult meals!
McDonald's! Who knew McDonald's will be the McDonald's as seen in what was that name of that futuristic movie where this one group says they are going to dinner at McDonald's because it is such a 'posh' restaurant dining experience? Oh-I know the movie buffs will tell me, so I won't sweat it!
Oh, one striking fact which I find is certainly a dire blunder with the US State Department: I have seen McDonald's on every military installation I visited around the world, too. Yeah-can you envision a fat Marine trying wedging himself into a foxhole after eating several months' worth of McDonald's dollar value meals?
The Marine dude has a double whammy in store regarding his safety and his health matters: Possibly die due to eating high chloresterol fast food meals AND possibly being blown up because the Marine could not wedge himself expediently into the nearest foxhole avoiding the granade or rocket launcher that was thrown/shot towards his way!
Finally, I have been sighing with utter relief: One thing is for sure:
McDonald's is non-exisitent in Sokcho Korea! I THANK GOD everyday I am here in Sokcho McDonald's has not discovered this virgin tourist paradise! McDonald's, Starbucks, and the rest of the fast food chains who make people FAT and die from their high chloresterol meals: stay 1000 miles away from Sokcho South Korea!

Funny-I remember my Mom used to chant with her best Filipina accent: "Oh, tank hebben por Seben Belebben!" Muah-ahhh-ahhhh! "Churlee! Yo hab to go to da Sebben Belebben and go buy some bread an' some milk right now, hokay?" Teee-heee-heee! O=:-D
I would keep my Mom's change from buying the bread and milk . . . I'd buy a large Coca Cola Slurpee, six Jolly Rancher Fire and Apple Sticks.
Before classtime in the morning . . . I would visit 7-11 for my three favorite things, walk to school at Tennyson Elementary (Defunct due to Prop. 13), La Vista Jr. High (Changed Name to Cesar Chavez), and Tennyson High School:
Drinking, enjoying my Coca Cola Slurpee brain freeze and eating the Jolly Ranchers sticks.
Lol! I even brought my friends who hail from far away, distant lands, international musicians/Hollywood celebrity friends, brothers, sisters, and my daughters, Joy and Kris visiting 7-11, too! Comically, traveling to Hong Kong, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila, Osan/Suwon, South Korea: I bumble right into a local 7-11 store!
Conveniently located, 7-11 is even across the street from Osan Air Base and also, inside the Suwon Bus Terminal, South Korea, too. So, I feel like I am buying my Slurpee down the street from my old schools! Ahhh, fond memories-yes, indeed!
Reminiscing: You know-THAT'S a lot of customer relations history between 7-11 and me!
Who would have thought I would buy my Slurpee at the 7-11 Stores in South Korea? Who knew??? Not even I would dream or fathom shopping for my three favorite things in a far away distant land!
Muah-ahhh-ahhhh! Teee-heee-heee!
O=:-o
Envision this in your mind's eye: Totally tres bizarre regarding the surprising similarities I am discovering living in Sokcho! Sokcho is a small posh town like Lafayette meets Pacifica/Half Moon Bay without the Taco Bell at the beach.
Funny-Dominoes Pizza is just a block away from where the small ferry boats shuttling people back and forth all day between Sokcho Harbor and Sokcho Bridge and also, where KBS Korean film production, "Autumn In My Heart" was filmed a few years ago.
Can you imagine all these film productions ordering tons o' Dominoes Pizza for their film crew and talents' hot lunch meals here in Sokcho? Yeah, this Dominoes Pizza location made increasing their financial net worth an easy task, indeed.
I just wish this Dominoes Pizza location would increase rather than decrease their ingredients when I request an increase like the Dominoes just down the street from my SF Bay Area home. Sokcho Koreans just do not understand how to make an awesome pizza!
Maybe the Dominoes by my SF Bay Area home should send their pizza Chef to Sokcho and teach them HOW a REAL PIZZA is made! Hah! I wish myself a lot of luck thinking the US Dominoes Corporation will send a pizza Chef to Sokcho!
Humpf! I think I will hold my breath now until I turn blue in the face until a US Dominoes Pizza Chef visits Sokcho Dominoes Pizza teaching the owner how to make a REAL PIZZA!
More cheese, please! O=:-D
Ya gotta give me a break already that Starbucks Corporation even authorizes the US Air Force Base Commissary selling StarBucks' Whole Coffee Beans at Osan AFB Commissary for $7.00 for 1 lb. of espresso whole coffee beans? O=:-O
Well! La-dee-dahhhh, Dahlings! In desperation, I had to buy 1 lb. of espresso and 1 lb. of Verona whole coffee beans at the Osan AFB Commissary because there were NO other coffee beans selling the large quantity I needed lasting me for two months!
Oy-evay . . . O=:-( Sheesh!
I cannot believe in sheer desperation I had broken down and bought Starbucks Whole Coffee Beans at the Osan AFB Commissary! Why-you may ask me? Well, because I live in a small town three-hours away from Seoul and whole coffee bean supplies coming from Africa are severely limited!
Furthermore, I refuse buying instant coffee everyone in Sokcho drinks like it's REAL COFFEE! Yukko-phooey!
Sadly, I couldn't find the blasted Seoul Costco locations, so I can buy the mega-size French Roast coffee beans I normally buy and love! I think I am gonna cry now . . . I had to buy a poor substitute brand!
O=:-C Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I am so beside myself . . . frustrated beyond belief!
The only thing cool about the Starbucks down the street from my home near Pinole is the drive through . . . but the drive through is jammed every morning, so ya might as well park your car, sashay your fine self into the Starbucks, smile wistfully at the Barista, and wait FIVE friggin' minutes ordering the house coffee of the day!
Yelpers-please tell me what you thought of this film. I thought adults seeing this movie is quite questionable . . . it seems fitting for only children to watch. I was bored.

Realizing SF Hard Rock Cafe has moved was unsettling. I had to ask where and when did this HRC move? O=:-o
Realizing the SF HRC moved to Pier One, I instantly knew the rent per square foot at SF HRC Pier One location was definitely going to jack the food, beverage, and memorabilia through the roof, so I NEVER visited SF Pier One HRC due to the tourist location!
The We-Ho=West Hollywood Beverly Center Shopping Center (Los Angeles) with the Pink Cadillac on the roof is one of the better locations-small but, quaint . . . just steps away from Cedar Sinai Hospital The food/beverage prices are not jacked up as the other HRCs I have visited around the planet.
The Bangkok HRC eight blocks from Central World does bait and switch: The bartender tells me-"You get two free beers, if you buy one." To my utter dismay when I got the bar bill, I was charged for ALL THREE BEERS! My Bangkok HRC T-Shirt costs $17.00 USD/Bangkok Dollars which $28.00 USD was CHARGED after the credit card exchange rate! The beers costs me $15.00 USD/Bangkok Dollars and I was charged another $15 USD for the credit card bank exchange rate! WHAT!? I got two enemas without asking for one! O=:-( I wanna cry!
Let's talk about Singapore HRC: CAN YOU SAY MEAT MARKET??? I know you can! Mr. Rogers would roll in his grave if he saw what I saw at this HRC location-it's a slutty, sleezy, dark location in the neighborhood next door to Citibank off Orchard. Oh-the HRC was empty inside while sleezy peeps hung outside smoking with whatever was walking by with short skirts and wearing no underwear showing their "world" for a viewing fee.
Itaewon HRC South Korea diagonally across the street from Outback Steakhouse was closed at 7:30 PM on FRIDAY EVENING! What's worse? Itaewon did not look like a typical HRC-THIS LOCATION JUST SELLS MEMORABILIA???? O=:-O WHAT????
What's up with these HRCs? I am so sad HRC is so commercialized now and it's not like it was in the 80's! No live entertainment anymore! O=:-( Uhhh~Except the live entertainment you see walking up and down the street at Singapore's Orchard location!
