The experience is very French, and the staff work hard to keep it that way--even your scrambled eggs come served on top of a fresh-baked brioche. Bouchon reminds me of a little French café/grocery store we used to visit every Sunday when I lived in Venice, CA. It feels light and airy, and actually has an outdoor terrace. The portions are generous but not outrageous, and the food is generally excellent, but the bakery is where Bouchon really shines, IMHO. Everything is baked fresh daily, and you never know what new and unique confection you might find until your server explains the specials.
In summary, if you're looking for an "authentic" French café experience on the heart of the Las Vega Strip (or rather, a dozen or more storeys above it), Bouchon has no real competition. While it can get a bit pricey, in my experience it has always been well worth the expense. Bouchon remains, hands down, my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Vegas, both for the food and for the ambience.
