Squeeze Inn

This is the original Squeeze Inn but in a newer and bigger location. I went around 3pm on a Saturday and even though that is not normal meal time for a lot of people, the place was still pretty crowded. We ordered our food and then shortly after that we were seated. They told us that since they were busy that we could pay after eating but it sounds like they usually make you pay before they take you to your seats.

My buddy and I both ordered cheeseburgers and a large order of fries to share. I advise you share an order of large fries with at least someone else. Between my buddy and me, we couldn't even eat all the fries.

The Cheeseburgers are amazing. To the people that write reviews complaining about how they are greasy... maybe you need to understand what it is you are eating. Duh - why did that part surprise you? Anyway, it was delicious, cheese and all.

I look forward to going back here when I'm in town.

Linda's Pizzeria

This place used to be a Taco Bell and if someone told you before you went there then you could definitely tell by the layout of the place. My uncle suggested this place for lunch the other day as he said their pizza was really good and a lot like Zelda's which is mentioned in other reviews on this page. The staff was friendly and appeared to be family operated when our server said "my Aunt is going to take over" when she got off of work.

The pizza was filling but I can't say the taste was anything spectacular. We ordered an All Meat Pizza and a Pesto Pizza. The All Meat tasted the better of the two. I would maybe try to order the All Meat again but with extra cheese instead as it seemed to be lacking on the pizza.

As far as Chicago Pizza goes though, Pizza Chicago in my hometown still has the edge as being my favorite.

Had a great experience at Country Waffles with my family on a Sunday morning. We had a wonderful host named AJ who showed us to our seat and took our drink orders then continued to receive great service throughout our meal. They were out of Orange Juice which was a little sad but I ended up getting Hot Chocolate and that baby was loaded with whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top!

I heard a lot of great things about the Strawberry Waffle which my dad, mom, and cousin all ended up getting. Wanting to be different, I ordered the Cinnamon French Toast which was delicious.

I would definitely go here again.

This place has one of the better breakfast burritos that money can buy. They have a very convenient drive thru as well. I am a fan of the carnitas burrito specifically.  They also offer Horchata to drink if that is your cup of tea (but it really isn't tea, I was just using that saying).

Whenever I am in town for more than a few days, a trip to Adalbertos is likely.

Big Slice Pizza

A couple friends (that are also a couple) took me to San Francisco the day before my birthday and one of the places we went to was Big Slice Pizza. We probably spent more time looking for parking than we actually did in the pizza joint but it was still good food. I ended up getting a slice of pesto and soda. The sodas are only 50 cents more with a slice of pizza which isn't a bad deal. The downfall is that it costs 50 cents for a soda refill, so take your time drinking that bad boy!

Like another reviewer mentioned, the pizza taste is probably different between coming hot out of the oven and being under the lamp. Mine came from under the lamp so the taste was nothing extraordinary but the one slice did fill me up so I was satisfied.

I liked the artwork and posters on the wall too, many of which could be purchased.

I would prefer to give this place 3 and half stars but I can't so 4 will do. This place is in Salinas even though you can't tell by the name. I came here with my family after going to the National Steinbeck Center.  I had their Oktoberfest to drink and ordered an eggplant lasagna. The food was good though I wish their were more menu items to choose from. The beer sampler is a good deal as stated by Jennifer S. as my dad ended up getting the same thing.

If I ever end up in Salinas for anything again then I wouldn't rule out coming back here.

Went here a couple weeks ago while I was in Arizona. This place isn't located far from the Phoenix Airport so it was the breakfast spot of choice after arriving in the morning.

The place wasn't lit very much at all. I don't know if it was supposed to be romantic or if it was supposed to be scary (as they had Halloween decorations up too).

Our party was sat at a table near the entrance. It seemed like everyone else eating there was off to the right in another section of the restaurant. We were thinking that maybe the "regulars" have a different place to sit?

It didn't really matter though as the food was good. My uncle, his friend, and I all had the Pig Out Breakfast - which included eggs, pancackes, bacon, sausage, and ham.

I won't be surprised if I go here again next year.

Grounds

On a Tuesday morning, my family (minus the sister who was not there) was looking for a good breakfast place near Angels Camp and Grounds was recommended as a good spot.

From the outside of the restaurant, it doesn't look like Grounds is even going to be big enough to hold our party of five. We soon discovered that they had more seating in the back so that is where we ended up sitting.

Although their menu isn't full of a wide range of various meals, the stuff they do make is done well.

I ordered a Spanish Omelette which came with a potato pancake and sourdough toast. All of it was great and very filling.

The service was very friendly too which always helps. If I actually lived in the area then I might have even asked out the worker who brought me my water as she was cute. But alas, I don't live anywhere nearby so I kept my mouth shut and tried not to stare.

If I'm ever in the area again then I wouldn't mind heading back here for breakfast.

I went here on a Wednesday night because I knew that the A's and Giants both had day games and the Sharks were not scheduled to play. Knowing this, I figured there wouldn't be much of a crowd at the Yard House. I was wrong. Along with my friend, we waited two hours to be seated. We did go to the for a couple drinks while we waited though.

This place gets 5 stars from me just for the beer alone. Over 130 beers on tap? Can we say "Heaven"? I was in flavor country!

For food, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. I ended up getting the Chicken Penne though. Our waitress realized she pressed the incorrect key when entering the order. She apologized and I got the correct dish shortly after - Now, you might think I should dock points for the incorrect item I received, but I respect the waitress who owned up to her mistake.

Don't come here unless you plan on spending some money though. You must not forget, this is Santana Row we're talking about.

I will definitely come back here in the future.

I'm going to consider this review incomplete for now. I came here with my friend before going to a concert at The Warfield. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich which turned out to be a mess. The bottom piece of bread became extremely soggy which led to  many of the contents of the actual sandwich falling out.

To drink, my friend and I ordered a pitcher of the Big Daddy beer which was pretty good.

This place gets one star just for their rotating door entrance which I got my friend stuck in as we left. That was a good laugh.

I'll be back try a different menu item in the future.
