Perhaps the best place to get great ramen at reasonable price in the Industry, Rowland Heights, Pomona, Diamond Bar, and Walnut area. Foo-foo-tei is located smack in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Hacienda Heights.

Lots of ramen dishes to choose from. On less busy hours, you can just hang out there and read all their dozens of Japanese manga books. They also serve asian beer!

Okay, I dont know what crawled up the butts of the last two people who posted negative reviews about this place, but for the price of the food, it's still worth eating here. I mean, don't come here hoping to have a great service. It's a restaurant inside a "FOB" plaza. What do you expect?

Come here as if you're just looking to chill with friends or a love one... enjoy the many asian shops to see in the plaza... work up an appetite at the arcade or at the Cue sticker picture shop inside the center, and then savor the spicy thai food at The Boat. Don't expect too much like its going to be 5-star restaurant in Beverly Hills. Your experience will be reasonably well approaching it this way.

With a lot of restaurants raising their prices lately to maintain their financial/expenses/rent status quo, this place has remained affordable for the amount of food they give you.

And if you're afraid of getting slow service from the waiters... just raise your hand high... very HIGH like you're dunking a basketball... and the waiters will come to you soon enough. It's an asian restaurant, it's okay to paddle your whole arm ferociously in the air like a pro beach volleyball player blocking an incoming spike.

Definitely a place worth driving and trying if you live anywhere in Southern California. This is an AMAZING Italian deli with sandwiches, cakes and pastries. I recommend trying their famous torpedo sandwich.

Giuliano's is as good as it gets here in Southern California as far as being close to the great italian delis of New York! And this place has been a popular food landmark in Gardena for decades!

Haha, this place is like Wonderland for girls. Sheer sticker picture ecstasy. Lust in all the available photos that you can star in! Be an actress, a connoisseur, a traveller, a singer, or a pimp! A variety of backgrounds and themes will make you look like a celebrity! And it's better when you go with a group of Jpop-infused friends to make the experience even more "kawaii."

So let the world fall off your shoulders, bring your boyfriend here, and show off your hidden charm and charisma! Work that camera and pose, girl... Show us your playful and sensual style.

Okay, I have to admit... the name made me try this place. Come on, with a name like that?!

Their ginger ahi and spare ribs are savory and, as I'm told, made like home-cooked meal. The atmosphere is okay but the strength of this place in their menu and authentic Hawaiian dishes.

Bruddah... you da man! I'll be seeing you again soon!

Love this place. It has everything -- DVDs, posters, comics, toys, skateboards, t-shirts, watches, collectible Disney figurines, airsoft guns & accessories, card games, wrestling items, sports cards, sports memorabilia, racing & car collectibles, etc. Most items are below retail price -- or at wholesale cost!

It's a one-stop mini-convention for the family.

I give it 5-stars NOT for the food... but because of the many memories I've had at this emo place. (I first discovered this place back in 1994! And for the longest time, they offered a Buy One Get One drink incentive!)

Eating at this place, I've seen/experienced the following (in chronological order):

1. A girl clipping her nails while eating. And her table was next to mine! You can just see those nails flying across the table.

2. A punk-@$$ guy dumped his girlfriend and made a big scene where the girl slapped his face in front of everyone. And he tried to hit her back... only to be stopped by the waiters.

3. My cousin and I had drinks splashed in our faces simple bcoz the table behind us had major drama where the father caught his daughter dating a guy he personally doesn't approve. The father threw a watermelon drink at the boyfriend... and the excess liquid splashed on to our table and faces! Thanks for the free watermelon drink daddy-o! This drama is why they call this place "Life" Plaza. Life and sh-t happens here.

4. I've seen an actual gang shooting at the parking lot!

5. Piss flooded restroom. Not once, but 3 times!

6. Two asian wangsters brawling just outside the restaurant.

7 And this is my favorite... I saw Coco Lee (asian singer) in a car driving just outside this restaurant.

So yeah... let the good times bring on the 5-stars!

Great fish tacos for a low price! I visited this place to devour as many of them sea creatures as humanly possible... and I left this place knowing a few hispanic dudes who taught me how to operate a forklift! (A lot of dayworkers and factory employees in the area come here for lunch.)

Amazing experience... you get great fish tacos AND learn about industrial machinery.

What ever you do... DO NOT ACT LIKE A MORON HERE! The owner will REFUSE service to you if you act ignorant and idiotic.

Other than that, the owner uses a nice creamy batter for his soft crepes. And he is very generous with the whip cream topping.

Again, just go in, know your order beforehand, and shut up. If you ask questions, the owner may refuse service to you. And just to be sure, simply order the crepe on the menu with the green tea ice cream and bananas. Or the one with the nutella. This should make your experience a friendly one.

I first tried this place baaaaack in 1996! I love their atmosphere and 50s-theme. Every so-often, you'll see car shows and bike shows happening at the parking lot.

It's a good family restaurant to try if you're up for something different and fun.
