Another truly amazing massage. I passed out 10 minutes into the massage and awoke so relaxed.

I've been calling on Brandie and Epiphany Massage whenever I've needed some knots worked out of my shoulders and neck. Their at home massage is the greatest. Not only do I not have to travel to some salon pretending to be a spa, but it's at home.

I've traditionally been your typical deep tissue / swedish massage guy, but they introduced me the hot stone massage and wow. I was a bit scared about someone placing heated stones on my back, but the combination of the heat, oils and pressure sold me.

Can't say I've used any other traveling San Diego massage services, other then the chair massages I get at work, but this has to be the best mobile massage service in San Diego.

OMG is she really standing on my back?

My girlfriend heard about Happy Foot's $25 One-Hour Acupressure Massage. This sounded too good to pass up. We arrived with no appointment, paid the $50 (CASH ONLY) for the two massage and were taken right away. The environment was dimly lit and relaxing. We both felt very comfortable and at ease.

At this point I feel like I must give two reviews for Happy Foot. One for the male massage therapist and one for the female.

Let's start with the female. These therapist had an excellent touch. For me they applied just the right amount of pressure and focused primarily on my torso. My girlfriend received the same massage treatment and routine. At one point they were literally standing on my back, but it wasn't too much pressure to hurt. This was perfect.

The second time we went to Happy Foot we had two male massage therapists. The routine was very similar, with a little variance from the female therapist routine. These guys were a lot rougher and applied a lot more pressure. I focused on deep breaths to get through the pain, but knew it would be worth it in the end.  At the end, the extra pressure was a lot more therapeutic, but we both preferred the female therapists.

+ Cheap Therapeutic Massage
- Cash Only
+ No Appointment Needed
- Difficult Communication
- Therapist Talking during session

Capps Place is Awesome. Visiting from out of town, my girlfriend and I stumbled in after a walk up and down the hills of SF looking for beer and a bathroom. Just opening Jack and the crew welcomed us right in where we took a seat at the bar.

Anchorsteam and a Champagne Split. Perfect combo for the warm San Francisco day. We chatted it up with the Jack manning the bar and Eddie a local.  It always a great feeling be able to walk into a random bar or restaurant and feel instantly at home.

Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square

I've got some mixed reviews for Parc55. During my girlfriend and I's recent trip to San Francisco we booked a room at a decent rate on Expedia. We arrived via BART and walked to the hotel, grabbed our key and crashed for a mid day rest.

The beds were nice, pillows plentiful and fluffy. I was a big fan of the rounded shower curtain rod and the the toilet that sounded like it was connected to the vacuum of space. More positives go to their water saving notices.

Negatives are that they don't follow the water saving notices. Leave a used towel on the rack and expect it to be exchanged. This isn't what the water saving card said would happen but what do you do. Unfortunately my girlfriends head wrap was taken by house keeping with the towels.

Called house keeping and were told they would get back to me in an hour. Called the next day, and go the same message. We checked out and I received a call a few hours later. They found it, and offered to ship it back home for us. Props on correcting a mistake.

The other negative came from my father, who wanted to send order a bottle of champagne for us, celebrating a bday, but the hotel was unable to accommodate this request. Seems odd and disappointing.

The rooms were semi quiet. Received noise from the hall way and the city itself. The views were nice and relaxing, especially for a first time visitor to SF. I guess the main thing this hotel has going for it is location location location...

Oh and the concierge hooked us up with an amazing bus ride to and beyond the Golden Gate bridge. Show owner comment »

Looking for a quick drink after walking the Golden Gate Bridge, Brandie and I walked into Club Deluxe, tempted by the pizza advertisement in the door way. We were greeted by Lee, who served us up some Lagunitas IPAs. Perfect drink to take the edge off and rest the feet.

This place was awesome, so much that after a few hours of walking around Haight we ended up back in Deluxe for another beer. This time we were able to enjoy some some killer live music. They two piece yukalaylee/bass band took Brandie's song request of 'Stand by Me' and performed a rendition thats still echoing in my head.

We heard the pizza here is amazing, but Giovanni wasn't in while we were there so we're going to have to catch it next time.

Stopped by for a quick taste of the famous ice cream last Saturday to be greeted with a line out the door and through the plaza, so we skipped the line, jumped into the chocolate shop and left with some delicious chocolate covered strawberries.

This place is a San Francisco icon. Get their early and expect a line if your visiting the city. Otherwise, go for the chocolate covered strawberries like we did.

Familiar with the other Filippi's Pizza Grottos I'm expected the great Italian food at bargain price, but think i got bargain Italian food at a bargain price. I guess I can't be too disappointed

The staff was very pleasant and were on top of their game. The food was alright and reminded me of the cheesy Italian restaurants I'd visit with my family back in the day. Perhaps its the atmosphere that made the food taste that much better but something was definitely lacking here... Its kind of the neglected sibling of the franchise.

Specialized Ceramic & Powder Coating

Specialized is the only place I would have powder coat any of my stuff. This place is simply amazing. I worked with Kelly and the crew of Specialized for years powder coating endless numbers of items. This includes wheels, suspension parts, manifolds, bike frames, and even a wine rack. There wasn't any metal part that I through at them that they were unable to handle. I'm sure I'm on of the few that can say I've had over 1000 pieces powder coated by specialized.

Their pricing is extremely competitive for the industry and especially cheap when considering their level of experience. They have a wide array of colors to select from and catalogs of additional colors.

They also have an array of thermal coating for header, manifold and engine components. Awesome stuff.

When Luna Grill first opened all I could think about was... thats A LOT of red. After the first visit, I knew this would be a new standard restaurant in my healthy food rotation and it doesn't hurt that we live right across the street.

The first time I got the Beef Tenderloin Kabob. These tender chunks of meet were amazingly good. Brandie got the Gyro Plate. We both got the Gyro combo last night, and it was once again amazing, but I could of done with a salad over then fries.

Overall the food is great. Portions are perfect. Pricing is a high. Staff is very friendly.

So disappointed in this theater. My girlfriend and I went to catch the 5 o'clock showing of Advatar in 3D on Feb 8, 2010. $28 for two tickets later, we walk in to a pretty vacant theater to find only a few other movie watchers, but at first glance all the good seats were still available.

Slowly climbing the stadium seating steps we learned wise. Each aisle was littered with candy wrappers, popcorn, and other food items. As we crossed an isle to what appeared to be 2 clean seats our feat stuck to the sticky ground, where a fresh beverage was spilled.

We complained, and they had a single person rush through picking up what he could in the amount of time he had. But he had to take 4-5 trips to trash can, before the movie started.

The only saving grace was the movie was good, and with the lights down, you didn't notice the wrappers stuck to the bottom of your feet.
