I found out about this place via http://townhog.com, so my wife and I were fortunately enough to get an introduction to one of their deluxe suites for half off, but it would have been worth every penny at full price.  We are definitely going to be returning to this place.  The location is just a block away from the main square of Downtown Sonoma, close to nice shops, cafes, restaurants, etc.

My wife and I were celebrating out 1st year anniversary, so I decided to take advantage of the gourmet kitchen that was included in the Mission Suite, and hire a Private Chef (http://chefadair.com) to have an interactive dining experience in our room.  It was fantastic, Faye and the rest of the staff were absolutely cooperative and helpful in making sure that all accommodations were perfect for the event.  They really make every guest feel like a V.I.P.

An added BONUS to staying there:  We got a card full of wineries that will give you a free wine tasting for the duration of your stay.

I can only review on this place based on the service that I did not receive.

I had bought a 50% off coupon via townhog that I, irresponsibly, let expire.  But I thought I'd try to redeem it anyway.  Other businesses that I have visited have graciously let me redeem expired coupons.

I met with a nice lady behind the bar, who told me that she would not let me redeem it.  She did seem very nice.  She even explained to me that she couldn't  redeem it because the "lose so much money" on these high discount coupons.

IMHO, please don't tell me that you are losing so much money on these coupons, when I see on your yelp page that you have 60% off http://restaurant.com announced on your website.  If you business is hurting for cash to tell a customer the sad story, then you probably shouldn't be doing these promotions anymore.  I think that's logical.

In any case, I'm out $25 that I spent on the coupon, that I will never see again, and I decided not to eat there for lunch that day.

I would think that the whole point of doing this is getting customers to try your establishment, which I didn't, and will not go back to try.  Maybe they've got the best fish n chips or Shepard's pie in cupertino, I'll never know.  Judging by the zero customers in the restaurant @ 12:15pm, you think they'd love to have use walk through that door.

Been a client of Dr. Lund for a few years.  Great service.  My back feels great, and when it doesn't Dr. Lund always knows how to adjust it.  What more do you need?

Conveniently located close to my workplace @ Apple, Inc. Cupertino, for quick lunchtime visits.

Just discovered this place today via townhog, and I found out that it's been in my neighborhood for over a year.  What a fantastic coffee spot!  My french press was easily one of the cleanest and purest tasting cups of coffee I've ever had, and the mocha my wife had reminded us of the these fantastic mochas we had in belgium.

They have a good food selection that would keep us coming back for a light lunch or breakfast.  I'm a fan, and a guaranteed return customer.

I live in Japantown SJ, I've always wanted a coffee shop for my neighborhood.  I could have not asked for a more unadulterated coffee shop.  Great tasting coffees (beans from Barefoot) and espressos with lovely foam design.  Great pastries, outdoor patio, beautifully refurbished gas/auto shop with original gas pump and working vintage coke machine.

Jeanne, Shawn and the rest of the staff are the best.

Choosing a ring can be pretty intimidating for a guy who knows nothing about diamonds.  But take Jeanne's free class, I guarantee you come away with far more confidence in your decision making.

I ended up having a custom engagement ring made because I couldn't find that perfect setting.  It turned out far better than I imagined and at a fraction of the cost of a retail purchase.

My fiance loved it so much, when it came to creating a matching wedding band, we didn't even bother shopping around.  We trusted the cost and design to the Classic Rock team.  I recommend all my friends here. Show owner comment »

Never heard of this place until I checked out the Marine's Memorial Hotel for a wedding reception venue.  When my fiance and I were shown this restaurant during the tour, i knew we had to come back.  The view our the windows of this top floor restaurant are great.

I had a filet mignon, that was good, just slightly more cooked than I ordered it, but tasty nonetheless.  We had a few appetizers, the ahi tar tar and some baked oysters, I cleaned both plates.

But the MUST have recommendation I have for the night was the truffle tater totes.  It's a side order to the entrees.  I would come back over and over, just for the tater tots.  Everyone around us ordered them as well, it must be one of their specialties.

Service is nice.  The premise is trendy.  But i'm sorry to say, that there is nothing special about this food truck.  

In SoCal, these trucks of all sorts are blowing up, and we're just now starting to see the modern roach coach fad hit NorCal.  The got my business purely on curiosity.  Though the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't impressive enough to keep me coming back.

This place is alright.  Not like it's the best mixed plate joint I've ever ate at.

The loco moco was pretty good.  The lau lau was, too.  But they had these coconut prawns that were labeled "lahiana's best appetizer".  So of course I'm expecting them to be bomb.  NOT the case.  They were dry and way too crunchy.

The alcoholic drinks were standard.  Not bad, not great.

But the ambiance is great.  All outdoor seating and set right by the water.  It's a well priced restaraunt for be set right on the water front as it is.

Funny thing is...
Almost all of these reviews are 100% wrong.  And that's a fact, because they are all reviewing the Gordon Biersch Restaurant in downtown SJ.  If you look at the address of this listing, it's the actually Brewey, NOT the restaurant.

There is no dining, no walk-in, no servers.  It's just a straight up brewery with tours by reservation only.

Thing is, I'd agree with the consensus, the restaurant is just okay.  But this Brewery on Taylor and the tours they give?... 6/5 stars!!

They give tours to folks as long as you can get together more than 6 people.  AND it's FREE!

It was, hand down, the best brewery tour I've ever taken.  It was very detailed, led by one of the actual brew engineers, and free beer.  

We got a bottle beer to start off with, then we got to taste a full pint of winter bock straight from the fermenter (we also got to keep the class it was served in), then out guide sent us home with a six pack!

Seriously... how can you not give this 5 stars?
