Well I'm just being a little puta right now.
This store is actually really cute and smells like heaven. Whats even better when I walked in yesterday they were putting up all their xmas decorations and vaccuming up all the glitter from said decorations that was on the ground. Who doesnt love hella gliiter?

I spotted this top, the cute guy working there lemme try it on, 50% off, I bought it, go home to size it up again and notice the fat black sensor the cashier left on. Ok I worked retail too, I've made this same mistake. But even after I drove all the way back to Oakland the same cashier that made this mistake didn't give a shit nor did she apologize when I told her what had happened. She just made a lot of weird "uhhh" noises and stood there. Helllllooo disgruntled customer, whats up with the customer service?

I see myself going back to get some of their semi expensive xmas stuff and sniffing all the candles and oils they have for sale. But I just hope someone not perma confused isnt at the register.

I've been coming to Lakeshore Cafe since I was in my teens. My dad found this place and I became a returning customer after he moved a few states away.

I brought my friends here for my birthday. Lakeshore catered to 1 vegetarian, 1 very pregnant, picky, and nauseated friend,  my roommate who tries anything, and me im just fucking picky.

Anyway my most recent visit was yesterday. My roommate and I got there a couple hours before they closed so they were out of most of their specials which we had been yumming over while we waited for our table. When we learned only 1 thing off the specials was available I decided to get the California Veggie sandwich. It's just what is sounds like: a veggie sandwich BUT ITS SO GOOD WITH THE CUCUMBERS AND CREAM CHEESE. It comes with a side vinaigrette salad so I  ordered a half side of french fries. The waitress hooked it up with a whole order of fries THANK LADY. Mary ordered a 3 cheese sandwhich. She was nice enough let me try a bite and it was delicious with the garlic crusted bread.

Don't come here and expect top notch about the "ambiance" or whatever. Its laid back i.e: the waitresses wear jeans and are super friendly. It is a little cramped to move around and I didnt really understand why they didn't take their specials board down when they couldnt offer most of the specials any longer but its all about the food which hasn't disappointed me once.
