I know  good coffee.  I am italian, and I grew up drinking espresso.  Let me tell you: this is not a bad espresso... it is "schifoso"!  The crema seemed very dark  and not very foamy.   From the first sip, it was highly acidic, with none of the rich, full, satisfying flavor of a good coffee.  I tried a second sip, which confirmed my first impression.  As much as I did not want to "waste" $2.50 (mind you in Italy an outstanding espresso at a bar is usually 1 Euro), I could not bring myself to finish it.  

To add insult to injury, the chocolate chip cookie was chewy and not very tasty either... was there any real butter in it?

Definitely a place to avoid if you are looking for a good, authentic coffee...

I was very very pleased with the meal, tasty, not too fat, and very good service! I will definitely go back.... although is very very busy and you can wait for a while before getting a table!

Excellent food, very well presented, very tasty adn original.  A wonderful mix of flavours.... I had a memorable dinner, and the sericce is outstanding. Not too pushy, very nice and very well prepared on the menu.  I will definitely go back!!!

I do not understand how people can say this is the best burger in NY. I find it a decent buurger, as you can find many in the city, and overpriced. The serice is very average and they try to push you out as fast as they can to get a free place for new comers...  I do not think i will go back there.

I must day I love Oliver Peoples sunglasses, I think they might be a bit over prices, but they are great!

I ahve always been happy with the serivce in Soho, they are very friendly and helpful.

When I went to the Madison Av. location i was coldly welcomed by a women with a strong french accent. She has been very rude and did not help me at all with my requests... and when you spend 300 USD for a pair of sunglasses you would like a good and fiendly service without being treated in a very rude and unfriendly way.... End of the story I did not buy anything... and I will not return to that location anymore

I wrote to oliver Peoples customer Service and never heard back  from tehm.... very disappointed... as I said when you spend over 300 Dolalrs for sunglasses you expect another kind of service....

I have been at Market Cafe several times and I really loved it.  The food is excellent, very well prepeared, and light. The atmosphere is very friendly and joyful, the waiters very kind and friendly.  The pirces are reasonable compared to other similar palces in NY. I think their stake salad is outstanding!

I love to go there, and firends I invited there were alwasy very satisfied.
