There are times that the guys and I just want to dance the night away. When those rare occasions happen, we usually go to Jungle. Jungle has been many things within its lifetime and I'm glad they stopped focusing on being every type of bar/club out there and just be known as a dance club.
A few weeks ago, they had a themed night called "Madonnaramma." It was absolutely one of the best and most fun nights I've had in Atlanta. I highly recommend that Jungle continues these themed nights!

Club Monaco

By far, my FAVORITE place to shop! I always feel like Club Monaco is a bit ahead of the curve with their color palettes and when they do introduce a color, the different shades of that particular color they put out with their line is just beautiful!
The clothes have a nice modern fit and detail about them and you can mix and match anything in the store. My favorites are the black mesh like ties, the lavender ribbon belt, and the new line of suits they have for men.
Customer service is always good and helpful and the store is clean and clothes are neatly displayed.
Shopping Tip: The sales are very good here when they have them. Be sure to sign up for their email blasts. Did you know that you can get a student discount by showing your student ID? Also, did you know that they will alter your pants for you free of charge? Um, yeah...go get shopping!!!

After a night of hitting the bars and clubs, I was excited when my friends (Paul, Jeremiah and Jarrod) wanted to eat at Bamboo Luau! Finally something that wasn't a Diner or Waffle House. Walking in, everything looked promising, from the packed tables to the speedy service, but when it came to the food...I was really disappointed.
Usually after a few drinks, I could care less what the food taste like, but to be tipsy and really be able to say that my food was inedible is something to say within itself. I ordered the Happy Family which is shrimp, beef and chicken with mixed vegetables in brown sauce. What came out was a mixture of meats not even mentioned...scallops, pork, i think my beef look liked duck...ugh, i don't even know. The vegetables were mainly carrots and onion and the bamboo tossed within it was a bit bitter/sour!? I probably only ate about 1/4 of the dish and picked out the things that looked like what its suppose to be.
My friends ordered the basics of the General Tso and Shrimp Fried Rice which they said was OK. I should have just stuck with ordering one of their "flaming" drinks. (Yes, drinks served in a glass with a flame in the middle.) I think I'll stick with Waffle House or late night McDonald's next time...

My friends who play for the Pink Cadet Softball Team (Shout-out to Joel, Walter and Brian) had a fund raising event here this past Sunday. It was nice of Fuze not only to hold the event but to also provide a special drink and burger menu for the occasion.
The four choices on the mini-menu were the classic burger, turkey burger, veggie burger and a kolbi burger (which I heard is seasoned with soy sauce). The Nook On Piedmont Park

I can't say nothing but good things about The Nook! It's become one of my favorite places to eat and hang out at and I love the patio! Some of the best things: Any of the Totchos (Nachos but tater tots), the Chicken Pita Wrap and the Burger. I love that they added fishbowls to their alcohol menu...the tang flavored one is my favorite! Here's a hint, order the fishbowl, but get two additional vodka drinks and add it into the bowl once its a 1/4 empty. Takes a lot of the sweetness out of it and packs a bit more punch to it! Oh and who cannot love a place that serves North Carolina favorite Cheerwine! Definitely a must if you are in Piedmont Park and be sure to ask Charlie to be your server...he's the best!

After walking around Piedmont Park, Leslie and I decided to check out Noon for a quick breakfast. I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile now and I'm very happy to find a really good breakfast place near where I live in Midtown.
First things first...the main reason to come here are the BISCUITS! The biscuits are huge and have the nice crispy outside and soft hot chewy butter goodness that you would expect in a biscuit. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and it was one of the best I have ever had. Leslie got a sausage biscuit but also ordered a side of their preserves. The preserves can only be described as UH-MAZING and I could really use the preserves as a condiment and add it to everything I eat...it's THAT good! I also got a side of fruit that was dressed in mint and honey, which was a nice touch.
Staff is really nice and helpful and everything is so clean! Definitely need to starve myself for a few days to try their signature breakfast sandwich that has an egg, bacon, cheese, fried chicken and sausage gravy all smacked in-between one of those fantastic biscuits! Yum!

Cameli's Gourmet Pizza Joint

Every single time I am on Ponce and pass their sign I always ask myself that I should get pizza from there. Since I had a huge pizza craving today, I decided to finally check it out! With all the reviews about the Monster Slice, I knew I had to order a slice...well I ordered two because I wasn't sure how big was big. Well upon picking up my order, I gave the lady a strange look as she handed me pretty much a full sized pizza box. I opened it up and my mouth just fell through the floor! The slices were definitely HUGE!
When I got back into the office, I tore into those slices as if I was stranded in the middle of the desert and haven't eaten in weeks. The crust is really nice and thin and it had equal parts topping and cheese which balanced out slice. The sauce was nice and a bit on the sweet side...which I normally prefer.
The big surprise was the side salad! I got it with the Balsamic Vinaigrette and it was absolutely the best dressing I have had in a long time. This place is surprisingly good and I really recommend! I can't wait for lunch time tomorrow!!!! :)

So Long Summer Elite Event at SweetWater Brewery

Thanks Kathleen and the rest of the Yelp Team for another fantastic event! Love, love, love SweetWater Brewery and it was nice to actually enjoy the space, beer and tour without the huge crowds that normally go there for their nightly events!
The food from DBA looked really good and I hear the yelp lunch boxes! I'm sooooo ready to put my old Care Bear box in storage and sport the Yelp Box around the city!

Gizzelle James Couturiere

Just have to update my review and let everyone know that Gizzelle moved to a new location on Juniper Street right next to Mitra and above Babs! The space is much larger and it truly feels like a clothing designer studio! Again, Gizzelle and crew are the best and I always get complimented on how amazing my clothes and jeans look. Definitely stop by the new location and tell her I sent you!

Project Runway meets Atlanta!
As I attempt to be the next fashionisto of Atlanta, one has to align themselves with the best...and Gizzelle is the BEST!!! Like Stacy and Clinton from "What Not to Wear," I am a strong supporter of altering your clothes to fit to your body. Gizzelle is able to do that and more by adding her own recommendations and style to truly make it an original!
Not only does Gizzelle do beautiful work, but she is a beautiful person both inside and out. She is super friendly and really cares about her clients. I am always impressed how she is able to remember her clients names as well as the items they bring in! A really cool thing to note...Gizzelle has her own collection! Yes, ladies...check out her website and look at the beatiful dresses that Gizzelle creates! Seriously, if I ever open up my own boutique...I am totally carrying her pieces!
So, if you have ever purchased something super expensive or unique and need to alter it, trust Gizzelle! She's worked on all of my suits, tuxedos, shirts, and most important designer jeans! She keeps the original hem, which is rare, since most people just cut the fabric off! Be sure to make an appointment and tell her I said hello!

I've been shopping at all…
The pizza here is seriously like ambrosia! I had the opportunity to come here with Patricia and a few of her fantastic food columnist for a private luncheon tasting. We were able to sample almost half of the menu and each pie was so amazing that you cannot go wrong with anything you choose! Everything...from the ovens to the flour to the employees have been imported from Italy! My two favorite pizzas are the Diavaola (spicy peppers and sopressata) and the San Gennarro (sausage with sweet peppers).
The desserts are really good as well and from what I hear from my boss, they serve the cannoli exactly like his grandmothers, where the filling is put into the cannoli when you order or serve!
The staff should be voted BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Restaurant owners should visit and see how they do it! Seriously, every time I come here, they make me feel like it's home!
Best pizza ever and worth the trip, money and wait!
