Great little lounge/bar/restaurant. Really cozy and sheik. Ambiance is mellow and hip. Food was pretty good. Had the organic chicken sandwhich and blt. I actually liked the blt better. The bacon and avocado in it was bomb!  Bread was pretty toasty.

Also 2 of their signature drinks. The grape one and the pomegranate mojito. I liked the grape drink better. Had little bits of grape on it and was not too sweet.

The 3 bartenders here tonite were all hot too! So that's another plus!

Definitely worth stopping by if ur in the Hollywood area

Great place to come and chill on a lovely day at the beach. Has an awesome view of the pier and ocean from pretty much amywhere in the restaurant or bar. I always crave the Hawaiian iced teas here. It has to be the best drink i've ever had. Passion fruit juice with a bunch of other liquors. 2 or 3 of these and you'll be feeling really really good.  These are perfect for relieving cotton mouth from you know what. Make sure u ask for a dark rum float with this drink since it normally doesn't come with it.

The nachos are huge here. You should share that with a group of friends. The seafood in the main restaurant is great too. Good place to take a date.

The Sunday brunch is really good. $30 but you get a little bit of Hawaiian food with traditional american breakfast stuff. So I guess it's worth it.

You can't go wrong if u come here on a lovely day.

Great place. Decorated with surf art throughout and has a very artsy feel to it. Way way netter than that shithole down the street that shouldnt be called best western, but instead should be named worst western.

The place is brand new, clean and right off main st. They have cool balconies if u get the room with the ocean view. It's like one long balcony so u can talk and mingle with ur neighbors easily.

The only thing that sucks is that they don't validate for parking and they charge for wifi.

One of my favorite places on main street. This place holds a special place in my heart since I've been coming here for years and have had so many good drunken nites and happy hours here. Plus a couple of the bartenders are my friends so that helps. The happy hour here has changed. They used to have the best happy hour when they had half off any drink and any appetizer.  I guess since the economy kinda sucks they have to raise prices. The other thing I kinda didn't like was the $7 cover charge on weekend nites. I don't know if they still charge, but hopefully they stopped. A lot of the other bars on main don't charge a cover to get in so they need to do the same if they don't wanna lose customers. They  have entertainment nightly.

As for the food, they have the best chicken sandwhich I've ever had. You can't go wrong getting the blackened chicken sandwhich and their fire fries. The sandwich is made caribbean style. Sooo damn good! The carne asada nachos are pretty bomb here too.

The patio is great on nice sunny days to have a drink and enjoy the view of the ocean and the hustle and bustle of main st. I always find myself making it back here on those lovely days for happy hour.

This place's location is great but their rules suck! They are strict on letting you bring anyone up to your room. If you do, they'll charge you for each extra person and they won't stop calling and bugging you till you either pay or make them leave. The room is pretty shitty too. It's like a motel 6. For the same price, ur better off to go stay at the shorebreak hotel across the way and shorebreak is brand new and right next to main street so the location is waaaayyy better. This plae should be called worst western instea of best western haha

People say it's better than in n out but I'd still have to say in n out tastes better. I had the cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. I also read some people said that it's the best chicken sandwich they've had. I'm sure other people have different tastes than I do, but If u really want a good chicken sandwich, go to hurricanes on main St and get their blackened chicken sandwich. That would probably be one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had.

The food here is ok. Their fries are the fat fries. Burger patties are not so thick. They remind of the burger patties that you would get in the frozen section at costco. Chicken sandwich is a chicken breast split in 2 and stacked in the sandwich.  The food here is not the best and its not the worst so I gave 3 stars for the food, and 4 stars for the cute girl who works the register haha

hawaii theater is the best "bang" for your buck haha don't judge this book by the cover. it may look shitty and run down, but you dont go to this place to lounge. if that's the case, go to the rhino. it's $15 to get in and they make you get a beverage. they dont serve alcohol here so come buzzed and stoned already.

they don't call this place hawaii theater for no reason. what's the first thing that you think of when u step off the plane in hawaii?

Jan's Health Bar

This place is over rated and overpriced! I got the turkey avo sandwich for $7.95 and it was more avocado than anything. There was barely any turkey. It should just be called an avo sandwich. They charged $.65 for cheese. They just use regular wheat bread from the grocery store.   I can make a better turkey sandwich at home. My friends got the salad. Though the salads are big, it's just a bunch of lettuce with what seems like no turkey even though you ask for turkey.  My friends gave the salad 2 stars only because they give u a lot.

This place is whack! Go down main street and eat at a better place like dukes or even subway. at least they actually put meat in their sandwiches! Jan's is a jip.
