The restaurant's name is very fitting. Very cozy and welcoming, yet a little loud for my taste. There is no host, so it took me a few seconds to figure out I had to seat myself. I had the butternut squash soup (which was just ok), the black sea salt scallops, and the pear cinnamon creme brûlée which was my favorite out of all three. Service was somewhat slow, but friendly.

It would have been better if the dining area was a little more spaced from the bar (there were some really loud, obnoxious drunk people). Also thought this was an independent restaurant - had no idea it was in the Doubletree hotel.

The first night out in downtown was spent at Public House. My friend and I had dinner and drinks. I was happy to see their menu offered Lindemann's Framboise, my favorite hard-to-find lambic beer. I ordered the pork ribs which were delish. For dessert, I got the waffle banana split which was recommended by the bartender. She was right.

I've read the other reviews that said this was place was a magnet for douchebags. I have to grudgingly agree. It's not so bad before 9pm, but after that, expect to be surround by loud and obnoxious people. Granted, I was enjoying my meal and drinks at the bar, so it possibly could have been different in the dining area. Overall, I plan on going back again when I'm in the great city of Chicago.

This modern and fun hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. The entire hotel is warm and cozy, and the free shuttle service is the icing on the cake. The beds are exceptionally soft, and the room is inviting and well furnished. I stayed on the first floor and the noise level was minimal. The big flat-screen plasma hanging on the wall was a nice touch. Everything was clean, neat and ready to accommodate.

The only thing I wished were different was the distance from the hotel to downtown Chicago. Although the same airport shuttle dropped us off at the Blue Line station (2 minutes away), it was a good 25 minutes one-way to get downtown. As a first timer to Chicago, it might have been a better idea to book a hotel closer. However, if convenience and value is more important, you can't go wrong with Aloft!

My new replacement for the now closed Taco King. Like my friend (and co-Yelper) TJ said: "Move over Fuel City! " I highly recommend a first time visit and repeat visits thereafter!

LOVE this place! It's within a block of my work and a couple from where I live. They deliver until 3am everyday! What other place in downtown Dallas can advertise that? I come here for lunch at least once a week: they have the best bento box deals I've ever seen. My favorites are the sweet basil beef and sashimi boxes. The sushi is fresh, the servings are generous and the waitstaff is always attentive and friendly. There's a nice patio facing the Dallas World Aquarium and West End in the back which is perfect for happy hours. The menu prices and HH specials are unbeatable in the area, so I recommend you check this place out if you haven't yet and make it a regular spot!

This was the first dealership I visited for my 2011 Honda Crossover shopping. My salesman, Robert, had no knowledge of the car (apparently, it was his first day on the job) and couldn't even get the name of the car right. He didn't seem interested enough into getting me the details I asked for: he had to keep going back to his sales manager to answer even the most basic questions I had about the vehicle. When I asked for a brochure, he told me to go look at their site online. He even complained to me how long his working hours were and how much more money he made in his previous job doing real estate. Needless to say, I could sell a car better than he could have and I disregarded his quotes as a joke. They wouldn't negotiate: they were asking for the same price of a brand new 2011 Crosstour at Bankston Honda in Lewisville on a pre-certified 2010 Crosstour with 8,000 miles on their lot. Sorry, but if you don't have an experienced car salesman who can't even get the simplest facts or numbers straight, you won't get my money.

I just recently purchased a brand new 2011 Honda Crosstour from Bankston Honda in Lewisville because David McDavid Honda in Irving left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. I visited this dealership first and my salesman, Matt, gave me the runaround from the start. Before I drove up there, he said he had my car in stock on their lot and that they couldn't give me the drive-out price over the phone or email because it was against their dealership policy. I found that odd because every other dealership in DFW could and would.

When I showed up, low and behold, he said they had just sold their last 2011 Crosstour only 3 hours ago and had no more on the lot (BS). Then he insulted my intelligence when I asked him if they had pre-certified 2010's and he said that they sold their last 2009 a month ago; I called him out and said Honda didn't start making Crosstours until 2010. When I gave him a drive-out price from another dealership and asked if he could match it, of course they wouldn't budge and I made it clear I wasn't flexible. They still tried to change my mind. Honestly, even if they had beat the best deal Bankston Honda gave me, I still wouldn't give them my money because of how dishonest and insulting they were to me as a potential customer. I wouldn't recommend their business to anyone.

Out of all the Honda dealerships in a 25 mile radius of Dallas, I've found Bankston Honda in Lewisville to have the best customer service and no-hassle quotes. My salesman, Patrick, didn't waste my time when all I wanted was the drive-out price on a brand new 2011 Honda Crosstour. In fact, they had the best deal on the car I wanted in all of DFW. He responded quickly to my emails and phone calls, and was always professional, patient and helpful with questions and negotiations. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do car business with!

I have been contacting the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark for the past 2 weeks in regards to my http://Hotels.com reservation confirmation. When they could not find my reservation in the system, two different representatives at the Omni advised me to contact http://Hotels.com customer service. Upon doing so, http://Hotels.com called the hotel back to see what the problem was and gave me two different status updates: 1) Last week: the Omni's system has not updated reservations for the week and it should show up in the system by the end of the day and 2) When I called this morning: the Omni did not file my http://Hotels.com's faxed reservation and will do so when the desk person gets back from lunch.

I just called http://Hotels.com again and this time I was told that they never received a confirmation FROM the hotel for my reservation. They said the only option was for me to cancel my existing reservation and that they would refund the charges back on my card. I booked another hotel in the area and they gave me the same confirmation number that was attached to my first reservation. This is highly unacceptable as http://Hotels.com said there were available rooms for my dates and that they charged my card without confirming a reservation. You would think a site dedicated to finding you hotel rooms would get their confirmations straight before charging your card AND at least offer you reconciliation in the form of a voucher or one free night stay.

When I heard Dallas was getting its first Korean Taco stand, I had to welcome it with open arms on its first business day.

We rolled up to the former Burguesa Burger stand after work around 5:30pm. There was a full drive-through line and a few people at the window to order. I was surprised at how small the place was since I've never been. They had a bulletin board-sized menu on the side of the building which I thought would work better with pictures since most people probably don't know what to think of Korean BBQ tacos.

We ordered the 3 taco combo with beef and scored a free chicken taco. They were already out of kimchee at that point, but it wasn't much of a disappointment. The BBQ beef tacos were juicy and fresh off the grill. I especially enjoyed the garlic,-tangy dressing over the lettuce. The chicken taco was good, too and had the traditional sweet, spicy chili sauce marinated with the meat. Both flavors were fantastic and fresh.

The thing that did irritate us was the wait: it took us 30 minutes to get our order of 4 tacos. It's understandable that they would be super busy and things would be hectic on opening day, though. The owner ended up giving us free cookies for waiting so long. We also noticed that they ran out of chicken while we were waiting, and they messed up the order of the people before us. Hopefully with experience and calmer traffic, this place will find it's groove. Highly recommended at least for a try!
