The Market

Friendly staff, deceivingly large on the inside, unique feel (compared to the rest of Larimer Square), lots of options for different types of food.

At first it feels like just a coffee shop, but then you walk up a few stairs, & then all of a sudden it really does feel like a small "market"...

Definitely a fan.

Thai Food Cart

1st off...wait time for a tiny tiny food cart w/ one person cooking amazing food for you to enjoy, should NOT be factored into how many stars you want to give.  One should be rating the FOOD. It's a FOOD CART, try and wrap your mind around what this takes...there's no assembly line, no army of cooks, no wait-staff, just one sweet lady working tirelessly.

All that being said...yes, it does take quite a while to get your food. But absolutely 100% worth the wait! If you don't have time to wait, go somewhere else. If you do have time to wait, be patient and thank yourself later.

After all, the cart's hours are until 6:30pm --- or until it runs out of food. Which happens more than sparingly. How does this happen? Well, because the food is top-notch...oh, and because you get a whole bunch of it for $5.

One more thing...I usually consider myself pretty good with spicy, but this time around (I got the 2nd highest on the spicy-o-meter), I was sweating, sniffling, my lips were burning, needless to say...it was great.

I'm not a pizza person...

I know I know, blasphemy! But still, I just don't like pizza that much, never my 1st pic for a dining option. That being said, I really liked the pizza here! Mainly because it wasn't your classical pizza place...w/ options like fig, honey, & mashed potatoes...

But let's get to the main reasons I liked this place so much: the beer. I'm definitely a beer snob, so I'm pretty biased. If you're looking for a deep-dish pizza to go w/ your Coors...look elsewhere.

And the atmosphere of the place was nice too, it's definitely got a comfortable neighborhood bar feel to it. One word of advice though: expect a wait if you're go during peak dinner hours. Instead, sneak in around 5:45/6pm (right before Happy Hour ends at 6:30).

Absolutely loved this place!

My food experience was pretty normal, nothing to scream & shout about. But of course, with the suitable name to accompany, the reason I loved this place so much was the beer! Colorado brews FTW!

And what really did it for me was: the patio/view...amazing!

PS...in a lot of the bad reviews, I saw the service being knocked...but I experienced nothing but friendly, down-to-earth people!

A beer snob's heaven!

75+ beers on tap...130+ different bottled beers...some of the best wings in town...plus a NO-BS attitude = an amazing "Beer Drinker's Bar"

Don't go in here to order a martini...order a brew, after all, you're in a TAP HOUSE. And check your attitude at the door, because the staff will not put up with it.

Only flaw...? Music's too loud, wish I could hear the video games! But alas, it is a bar downtown...so it's to be expected!

Pluses: So many nostalgic video games, it almost sends you into an overload! Even though the music is too loud, it's always a great selection! Beer selection is fun because it includes a multitude of cheap beers in cans and a few 40s to choose from. Fun/lively atmosphere...and if you're lucky enough to grab a table serving up life-sized Jenga, seize it!

2 words...: Beau Janes.

If you have the pleasure of going to Zoe's when the above gentleman is working, tell him The White Tiger recommended you!

Oh, and Zoe's...AMAZING. Spacious, clean, welcoming, beautiful, etc. etc. etc!

Spicy Waffle Fries ... awesome right? Now do yourself a favor & ask them to add cheese. Hopefully I don't start a trend that the kitchen hates, but seriously see if they'll do this for you...amazing!

I've only ever been on weekdays, so I don't have anything to say about poor service. The only thing I wish there was more of is: a larger draft selection...but the only thing you can really do about that is...go somewhere else!

Personally, I really liked it...a lot!

Biker Jim's Restaurant

Gourmet Hot Dogs? Really? Hot dogs can be gourmet? The answer...: Absolutely! Especially at Biker Jim's.

My favorites...: The Duck Dog. Caramelized apples on a dog? I couldn't get enough of it! The Bat Dog...no it's not made out of bat, but yes it is delicious. Fried Mac & Cheese (you've got to be freakin' kidding me!), not for those watching their figure...

Great staff, great dogs, great beers, & if you're spending anytime in the area for a Rockies game...great location. On opening day I told my friends about this place and they ended up going twice! Once before the game & once after they'd partaken in "opening day festivities"...

All in all, if you can find things to complain about when it comes to this place, you might be a little too nit-picky...remind yourself, "I am in a gourmet hot dog establishment...why am I complaining?!?!"
