The BEST drunkenlatenight burrito or hungover burrito that exists comes from this hole in the wall. I'm not sure what they put in their burritos that makes them so damn good, but the California and Breakfast burritos are my favorite. Ask for extra salsa and there is nothing better in PB. At two in the morning this place will be completely packed with a line out the door. Maybe it's that the prices are rediculously cheap or that they're practically next door to all the bars in PB, but no matter what they're the best.

Love this place! My boyfriend and I go here regularly. They have great half off sushi nights, which include most of their rolls and awesome service. From the crunchy roll to the spicy tuna, they are hard to beat in PB.

Classic Huntington Beach restaurant-- the view, the food, and the atmosphere make this a great place to stop and eat, especially if you're vacationing in the area.
There is tremendous potential for this bead store-- it has a good selection for Chico, there are nice crafts mixed in with some well made jewelry, and they make an effort to keep up with the current jewelry trends. However, I continue to try and shop here and it doesn't work. I walk in and the women who works there glares at me. I have no idea why. Over the last few weeks it has climaxed to the point where my mother and I feel uncomfortable even stepping into the store.
I've heard several weeks ago the owner caught two older women stealing from her store. She is obviously paranoid about this. She is very loud and does not choose her topics of conversation well, which makes for a disaster of an atmosphere. It's a shame because she truly has a good selection and supports local artists (which is why I gave her two stars).

I am younger and I don't regularly shop here, but my mother does. The choice of clothing is the best clothing selection in Chico for women at least 30 or older. The selection is okay... The staff is alright... The major reason why I gave this place 2 stars instead of say 3, is that the staff are extremely pushy, especially when the owner is around. I would definitely visit this place more often with my mother if they simply let us shop on our own. If you're the type of person who likes to be catered to and can't make clothing choices on your own, then this is the place for you.
PS. I have heard the owner is not there on Mondays :)

Best local coffee shop in Chico! I love this place. There is no other like it-- great place to study, free wifi, good food, and amazing coffee. Doesn't get better than this!
For Chico, this is definitely as good as it gets! I had an incredibly important interview coming up and so I was wanting to darken my hair a bit, which I had never done. I called Dana and she said she knew what I was trying to achieve and she could do it. She did an absolutely amazing job, but I didn't think it was me. She went so far out of her way to make me happy and achieve the perfect look when I wasn't feeling good about the change that she out of her way and had me come in on a SATURDAY (two days before the interview)! I couldn't thank her enough! She did a wonderful job. They also use great product and it's a very nice atmosphere-- definitely in the top for Chico!

Not a huge chain store fan, but this is the only bookstore with a great selection in Chico. It's a great place to study, but most college students in town know about it, so it's packed with people during midterms/finals. Free Wifi, but it does not work all of the time, I would say about 80% of the time. Typical Starbuck's cafe inside with all the usual amenities... It's definitely good for Chico!
One of the bigger starbucks (seats about 25); great location in downtown Chico on the corner overlooking the park, although I'm not a huge fan of the park since they renovated it. I'm not a huge fan of chain stores, but I generally like starbucks and this one has pretty good service-- friendly and fast. Pretty good place to study although very close to the college so it gets a bit crowded at peak times and there is no free wi-fi. The only other draw back is that it's downtown parking, so metered 2 hour time limit and it's sparse during daytime hours.
Middle of the line starbucks; on the smaller side for starbucks (seats about 6, and is pretty cramped at that, so not the best place to study, however I don't see students in this one often, so at least it would be exclusive); located in a small shopping area next to an ice cream shop, a quiznos, a pizza place, and a dental office; really friendly staff. Outdoor seating is nice and the store is pretty much brand new... I usually stop here because it's on my way to work.
