Before we ever planned our club run to Vancity, Ginger 62 has always been on the map for their line up of supreme EDM talent in the area. On this particular weekend, we lucked out and caught the Ginger 62's 10th Anniversary night on a Saturday. The featured DJ was Norman Doray! We just had to do this experience the right way with bottle service in the VIP.

Unlike Vegas, in Vancity you can take your sweet time on most typical weekends if you have table reservations.  We were having dinner till 9pm, and my buddies were panicking because we had to be at the club normally in Vegas. However in Vancity we had an extra 2 hours to kill so we manage to take a stroll down Granville street. This is the area which is considered the "strip" of the town where all the night life is.  Following a little cardio of watching schwasted club goers on this street after dinner, we came up to the doors of Ginger and I gave them my name on the reservation.

Without wait, we all lined up and walked in. I managed to even sneak an extra person in on our table because they were super chill. No upping your min bullshit out here. Just get in and buy a bottle and have a great time!  As I was walking in with my hostesses, I was offered a complimentary coat check where all I needed to do was tip. The night before at another club, I believe they charged for this service. Needless to say I gave them a sweet tip regardless.

Walking through the lounge area, there are tables setup with a couches and a side bar. The music is banging in this area, but its more of a walkway for people to meet and greet, rather then a rage dance floor. A fun experience here is the Ginger 62 photo booth! You can jump in and take some real time club pics and upload them to FB or Twitter right away and its completely free. I thought this idea was very neat.

Our table was setup behind the DJ booth. We had to walk pass the main dance floor and up some stairs. The DJ booth area is elevated, and behind the booth is about 6-8 tables setup.  We quickly browsed through the menu, and without a question we wanted to ordered the Belvedere bottle and have it on full display.  Once you place an order, the bottle is then emptied out into multiple double shot -shot glasses and place on your table. Then the empty bottle is placed on lamp above your table.   Since you can't have a bottle on your table, this is a good way for the VIP clientele to show off what they have ordered.

Once Norman got on the stage, and we were almost completely schwasted is when the fun began.  We raged out behind the DJ booth and everyone working in there was all high five distance.  I never had such a personal DJ to clientele experience in the states.  The party is on and cracking till 3am, and when Norman closes his set, so does the club. From 2-3am is when the club starts to empty out. I thought this was kind of odd since nobody in the states leaves when a headlining DJ on, especially on this special occasion. Needless to say, we got extra room on the dance floor and were able to show off some shuffle skills.

Shuffling in Canadia was one of our goals, and we accomplished that with full force. With venues like Ginger, EDM in Vancity is definitely going to take off as other places uses this joint as a role model.  I know this place is definitely going to be on my schedule on my next north of the border trip!

So I ended my night at Celebrities-my first ever Canadia nightclub experience sitting on the side of the freezing curb of Davies St. Fortunately my friends rescued me, we had poutine, and ended up throwing an epic after party. Things were not as bad as they sound, on a typical night where I rage out of my mind, lose my digital camera and get the boot by the bouncers usually will not end this well in the states. Where else would the bouncer say, "If you threw up 5 inches to the left, I would've totally let you stay. But you missed the bowl, so I have to escort you out."  He was even nice enough to pull my white furry hoodie jacket from the coat check for me after I got banished.

Before I got the boot I did manage to get a good solid 4 hours in at this venue. It was my first club and first time in Canadia for a long time, so there was tremendous excitement.  And of course I pre-gamed extremely hard, more then I can ever handle. It also didn't help that my friend Pat had to get revenge for a party in the states where I destroyed him with my bar drinks.  So we came in with tickets, and negotiated our way to the VIP area behind the stage.  Celebs is setup like your typical club with bars on two sides, dance floor in the middle and your huge VIP area with seating behind the DJ.

First this first, this was probably one of the better venues I have heard EDM from in comparison to a small to mid sized club in California. The music was banging, and as soon as we got our thumb print/ picture taken at the front door ( yes this is standard security procedure here!), Mike B was shuffling up a storm into the venue. Playing tech-house to warm you up to the main act is brilliant! In the states they drop this shit at 6am-10am to keep all the crackheads going. I like the way Canadia works.

The VIP area is definitely not anything remotely close to the spots we have been accustomed to in Vegas. First of all you do not get your own space. Its a couch with a bunch of shared tables. Basically you get access to a "VIP" area. You can start a tab with the bartender and bottles (which are poured into shot glasses) are brought to you.  For those coming from the states, you can never have a bottle at a table if you get bottle service. Weird, but i guess its for our safety. As long as we got hammered we could careless.

By the time Michael Woods came on, all of our Canadia friends were here at this epic reunion of ages. We had some difficulties getting them up to the VIP since security was strict. We even attempted to bribe one of the bouncers with a $50 (US dollars!) and he didn't take it. I guess the exchange rate wasn't in our favor that day. Either ways we had a better time roaming around the bar/dance floor area with the rest of the crowd. I had a ton of fun listening to some epic EDM delivered through some solid sound systems and I couldn't have drawn up my first club experience in Canadia better.

PS. We are all straight, and we had a great time at Celebs. Of course we have great friends, and we just love the music :-) Its a gay club, but they do have straight nights. Be open minded and have a good time! Heck go shirtless rock some kandi and get some free drinks from guys!

I m going to point out that I personally am not a coffee addict. To me AM/PM coffee is just as good as Starbucks. However when you are in Sea-town, this was a must stop. The ORIGINAL Starbucks itself at Pikes Market!

First thought walking in was, "wow there is absolutely no place to sit!"  Frequenting the Socal Starbucks, one of the major draws for people to go out to drink coffee is to provide them an environment to work and relax.  However this is as old school as coffee joints get. You get in, grab your coffee and GTFO.

I ordered a hot cappuccino and surprisingly with a full store it only took about 5 minutes to make. It didn't taste any different then ones I have had in Socal. However the Baristas there are super friendly. It almost seems like they have had some tour guide type of training with the amount of socializing they do with customers.  This place is loaded with memorabilia and merchandise that you can purchase. To me a cell phone pic and a check in to Four Square was good enough.  I have been to the original Starbucks, and now I can move on with my life with more exciting things.

I absolutely love FreeBass Thursdays at this spot! Infact, we traveled 2 states all the way from CA, made a special Thursday night stop just for this. From what I heard on most nights is that this place drops top 40, so we came just at the right time.  On this particular night it was a Trance Dj called DJ Monsoon.  Nevertheless the resident DJ was dropping some seriously good house beats  to kick off the night and get everyone into a serious raging mood.

In Sea-town there aren't many solid EDM options, but Trinity definitely is a ground breaking spot that leads the pack in catering to this crowd. Its on Yesler Ave, where apparently there are many bars to pregame at before your clubbing adventure. Gotta give a shout out to Samantha the go go dancer for introducing us to this place. We walked in with her bf Travis without much hassles. Just a quick ID check, and there is no cover on Thursdays anyway.

This place has about 3 major bars. Right when you walk in, its one of your traditional sports bars with TVs, but you can hear the music from the main room. If you keep going towards to end of this bar is the main dance floor / stage area where there is another bar and couches. On the right wing of this building is a bar dedicated to a different theme from the main room. On this particular night they were throwing down dubstep beats. So I was right at home whenever I was getting tranced out.

The crowd here I would say are more of the bar hopping / Sea-town hipster types.  You don't need to be Vegas chic, just throw on a T shirt and check your hoodie in and you are good to go. As far as talent, we met a few sexy Alaskan airline flight attendants just so happen to be stopping by. I would say if you look, you will definitely find some.  As far as drink prices... they were way more then reasonable. Drink specials apparently run all night! The one we abused the most was the $1 shot special. The shots aren't exactly purely alcohol based, but a mixture of some fruit juice and cheap vodka. We bought rounds of 20 at a time just to make sure they do the job!

The club closes at around 2AM, and surprisingly on a Thursday it was still packed to the max.  Another word of advice is when you are leaving the club, you must try a "Seattle Dog!" Definitely a hang over food for the locals.  I see myself coming back to this particular club, but I would rather stay in Vancouver though, where you can actually throw solid after parties.

So during our only night in Sea-town we needed to get a first hand look of the best of the best talent that is in town. Honestly speaking, touring the Space Needle and Pikes Market didn't impress us what so ever since all we saw were midwest grenades.  After dinner we decided to pre-drink at this place that some of the locals described as "Coyote Ugly meets Cowboys and Aliens".   We got here to the doors at about 10pm on a Thursday and didn't have any hassles whats so ever walking in. No cover, no wait.

Once we walked in, the vibe of the place was popping. They played classic late 90's -2000s hip hop. Threw in some stripper 80s metal music here and there whenever a girl needed to put together a solo routine.  Finding a spot to sit down was not an issue at all since there were plenty of empty seats all around with pool tables available all over the place.

Most of the action was at the bar area where the girls would get up on the bar and make that booty pop throughout the whole night. What I thought made this place special was that the girls actually served you drinks. So while some of them might be dancing, others will be your personal waitresses! Drinks are super cheap in comparison to Hwood/Vegas prices. I bought about 3 drinks for about $20 or less??

The girls are super smoking, I would say 5 of the 6 we saw were atleast a 9 and up. Needless say I was throwing mad tips at them.  Too bad it was just a pitstop, otherwise I see myself getting schwasted and spitting game to see that leads to anywhere.  I highly recommend stopping by here if you are in town to party.

So this place looked awesome on paper, but not so much once we got into the doors and started doing our thing. Not sure if its the Seatown uber-conservative/ anti-raging attitude, but my buddies and I got the boot from this place at 3AM in the freaking morning.

Anyway, lets trace back the events that unfolded that led to this unfortunate stay. When we first booked this spot, we did it because the location was central to the places we will be partying at and its a walk away from the space needle. I gotta give a shout out to all the hot go go dancers at Trinity (Samantha, I know you are reading this.. that night was epic!). Also another perk is that right around the corner you will find a liquor store. For those that are planning a trip to cross the border, it was an essential shopping stop.

So lets review the total of 4 hours that we spent at this shithole. We get back from the club having a great old time and being from Cali and regularly raging in Vegas, we dont shut it down at 2am. Theres a thing called the after party and it usually takes place at the hotel you are staying. Little that we know that this place was more anti rage then a hostel in Vatican City.  Once we got into the room we start popping bottles and drinks were flowing. Mr C, Mike B and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to try out the sauna at this place and continue the raging down there.  You see, we were actually being considerate by not raging in the room areas because we knew people "might" be sleeping.

The troubles start as we walk out of our door with the boombox back pack. So for some reason we decided to take a long time walking down the hallway and shuffle for a minute, and right away we hear some asshole yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP". We were like whatevers about it, made our way downstairs to the sauna. So once we got there, started setting up shop with the boom box. I think I even manage to get a warm dip in my swim trunks which was fairly nice... for a MINUTE until fat ass Samoan security guy decided to kick down the doors to the sauna and kick us the fuck out.

Security: "YO, you guys gotta leave!"
Mr Shah: "What the fuck man, we are just chilling right here.. "
Security: "No man, we got a complaint already.. you and your friends are OUT of here.. "

So we leave peacefully and for some reason the dickwad was following us still..
Mr C: "Why are you following us asshole??"
Security: "You guys are getting kicked out of the hotel!"
Mr C: "Fuck you man! You can't kick us out. We are going to sleep"

The cock smoker security sure enough follows us to our room and posts up right there. We hear him yell "The COPS are on their way"
Whatever, I went to bed and knocked out for another minute. Sure enough loud knocks on the door, "Its the police, you guys have to leave this place.. NOW!"

FML! So we open the door. Mr C tries the military ID tactic to no avail. The assclown Seattle PD even says that don't even try that military bullshit, it won't work. Well fuck you then, we are leaving! So we all ended up packing up in the middle of the night.  We were put on to the streets at 3am in the blistering cold of Seatown. It was a lesson learned that people don't rage in Seatown, security and police are assholes. The only thing we were thankful for was that we still had a great buzz going from our limited after party.

Yes, fuck this place for real.

I personally can't see a reason why anyone would stay here expecting a good night of sleep. These rooms are meant for partying, and the ownership here pretty much expects it. We threw the Team Cali Nocturnal Wonderland party here for 2 nights straight which lasted from 3am to 8am for 2 days and we were able to do so without any hassles.

One of the nights the nighttime manager (cool ass indian dude) actually came up to tell us to turn down the music slightly and we did. Then we turned it back up like 5 minutes later and did not receive anymore complaints. Someone else said that the manager told us to quit jumping up and down to Fedde Le Grand - Metrum (http://www.youtube.com...)  because our room was right above their office. I was like its Fedde Le Grand, we were shuffling and not jumping. We didnt hear much more after that.

Either ways, these rooms definitely have me sold on coming back again and again whenever we throw rave after parties for NOS events with our subwoofer systems ready to roll. They are conveniently located next to many restaurants, a walmart, target and a mall. There is a Dennys right down stairs open 24/7 if you got the munchies. Since most of the rooms next to NOS get sold out and the price is through the roof, this is a good get away. Plus theres plenty of police activity in that area, and I m truly surprised that they didnt come by even once due to noise complaints. I guess everyone is just down when they stay here.

The event I attended was the Identity Festival featuring Kaskade, Aoki and Afrojack.  I have been to many events hosted by Insomniac, and this was one of the few that I anticipated a let down coming because Insomniac was not involved. Surprisingly, ID and Cricket Amphitheater definitely got it all right for throwing a rave out in Chula Vista.

Our group arrived in two separate cars. One car had 6 guys (clown car style) and another car had one girl. So much for figuring out the logistics!  The group of guys feat. Me, Gio, Eddy Spaghetti, Rob Rob and Eddies cousin and friend came to this event ready to rage. Heck we event made a stop in the hood to pick up some ghetto fab cans of Joose to knock down before we head in.

The rave started at 1'ish, but we didn't get to the venue till 4. Being late wasn't a huge deal because our goal was to see Afrojack at 6, and we had plenty of time to kill. The free parking at this venue was awesome. Right when we parked, we found a traffic construction plastic barricade that 4 of us picked up and tossed on an empty spot next to us. We needed space to shuffle in between other cars parking! Plus it was a VIP spot saved for Michelle so she can park next to us.  We did all this in front of a cop that did a U-turn and just let it go.

So we were looking around, and everyone was just straight up drinking their booze with no brown sacks in the lot. Lighting up J's right and left. We decided to join the madness by popping cans of Joose. Gio cranked his system all the way up with Aoki's EDC set. Once the boose started to kick in, it was pure shuffle madness. There was even an empty dry grass field infront of us if we needed to make our own restrooms.

Finally closer to 5'ish Michelle gets there, and we toss the barricade aside and let her park. She said she felt like the VIP of the whole rave because we saved her a spot. Sure enough she had all of my rave gear. My monkey backpack, purple bandanas to match my Lakers hat, 100 Kandi to put on both of our arms and of course 2 jumbo downtown LA sized tubes of glow sticks. I quickly assembled my gear in the car while Michelle was downing the rest of the Joose. I stuffed all of the glow gear into my monkey backpack and off we went!

The most nervous part of entering a rave is the whole pat down search procedure. At Cricket I walked up to the security guy, and he looked me up and down and said I was good to go. AWESOME! At no point I was smuggling any contrabands, but I just don't like some random getting a feeler. Also at Insomniac events, I would already be in trouble with the plushy monkey back pack and wearing bandanas as dust masks (it looks too raver for their taste).

The entire event was simply awesome once the artists took over. I ended up getting chocolate wasted and losing my digital camera there. Guest services was pretty friendly and atleast made an attempt to help me locate my item. Overall I must say Cricket and ID know how throw a medium scale rave in a city we haven't heard much of. I m definitely looking forward to coming to more venues here since everyone from police, security and staff are the chillest we have seen in a while.

*I m on the bandwagon to keep raves out of LA!*

Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub

Update - 8/30/2011 11 photos
So if I count back to my dayclub/night club experiences, this is a total of 6 times I could've written a Marquee review. However since I go there so much, it would be redundant. I m going to post my most recently VIP reservation experience at Marquee.

Going into the AOD End of Summer Invasion, I knew Marquee Nightclub was going to be one of the highlights of the trip. At the beginning there were about 25 people interested in getting VIP services at Marquee. As soon as we got the quotes back of $300-400 per head, it quickly eliminated the contestants in a hurry. So I ended up with a final total of 8, and the best I can do was a 5 person reservation at an outside table with my man Brad Spieser at the Marquee group. Even this was almost impossible to pull off because Marquee reservations were pretty much completely booked out for Fri/Sat, for a few weekends to come. We had to be there nice and early, no slipping up.

On early Friday we had a pretty chill pool party, and I made sure I didnt get chocolate wasted at Liquid. We got back to our room, and everyone was on point when we were getting ready. For the first time on this trip Gio/Mike B got all dressed, and were actually ready for me to pimp them out with the double windsor knots on the ties. We were looking sharp we left the Signatures and even got offered limo rides. Nah, we roll gangsta. Cabs only.

Got to the Chandlier bar at 8:45! We just had to wait for Ola, Chad and the rest of his crew. Thank goodness I brought a can of 4loko with me. So we were waiting for the crew to assemble, and I popped the can. Right away I took a huge ass sip. I handed off to Gio, hes like no thanks. Mike B also said no thanks. WTF. This meant I had to kill this whole can by myself. Either ways its Marquee, fuck it. We lay it all on the line. Slowly but surely I chugged the whole can. Rest of the crew appeared, I picked our select 5 on table. Collected the cash and off we went. The other 2 dudes had glist lined up with 12 girls, so they were to meet us inside.

We took the escalator up to Marquee level and honestly I was seeing 30 ropes infront of me and I talked the guy that appeared to be in the middle. He said we had to wait an additional 10 mins before VIP line actually opened up. Apparently I was totally slurring my words cause Mike B said I was wasted and he still was polite with me. I was like calm down Mike B, even me wasted I can handle Vegas business with 110% efficiency. Thats how I roll, Major style.  So finally our guy Brad texts us back, hes waiting at the ropes. We quickly bring the crew up and he lifts the ropes, then off we go. Say good bye to the millions that are stuck on the other side of the club which have no idea that we take this secret elevator without ever being in line.

In the elevator ride I persuade Brad to come drink with us, and sure enough he agreed. Slapped him with a huge tip for being a bro. So we go to the outside level of Marquee, Brad straight walked us to the center front dance floor daybed, right infront the screen with a sweet view of all the oncoming talent. Everyone was bro-hugging each other because all our hard work of planning this trip finally paid off.

We order bottles, and the rest was pretty much history. Heres the bits and pieces of what I remembered:
-I was yelling at some random bouncer for picking up bottle serviced drink and disposing of it, and I was telling him how much it costs vs the bar, and he said he didnt give a shit
-I was making out and dry humping one of our friends and she was loving it on our daybed
-I shuffled like a madman, and somehow found my way at bungalo cabanas ( a good 100 yards from my daybed). Then some guy came back to our table and asked to have what I was having..

Just bits and pieces.. and many numbers in my phone when I left. I also remember the light show as incredible, and it was most banging house music I ever heard in my life outside of EDC. Oh Marquee, the next time we drop a couple of Gs we will try to remember it better.

This follow up is strictly for the Dayclub-
We scheduled to visit Marquee Dayclub midtrip during our EDC invasion. The night before we had a cabana at Surrender, and brought a bunch of girls back to have a suite pillow fight party which lasted until the sun came up. Needless to say I slept in a bit.  I had a cabana here, but since we couldn't get there till 1'ish we got the next best thing which was a daybed next to the stage. I must say, it all turned out for the better!

We get to the Cosmo at about 12:30'ish, park and get ourselves up to the dayclub line. I walk up and let them know I have reservations through Robert Montero. Quickly they found me and were ready to let us in. One of the other bouncers walks up to us and tell us that the dayclub dress code is fairly strict and wife beaters are not allowed. 2 people from our crew were rocking the wifebeaters, so we asked.. "Can we just go in shirtless then?" He was OK with that. So we took off our wifebeaters infront of the huge line and my buddy was like, "The girls need a little something to look at after waiting all this time.. " lmfao.

We take the elevator up to the dayclub, and line up at the check in line. I don't see Robert around since he is busy seating someone, but I do see Derrick who was at the podium. He recognized me and had someone walk me to the supreme location daybed. Before I left, I slipped him a good little friendly gesture into the palm of his hand since he has always taken care of me at the nightclub end.

As we are walking through the pool, the house music is banging. Its the right kind of house music too. They didn't play your generic standard stuff. They were getting into some great electro mixes. Mr. Becks was the DJ that day and there were quite a few EDC people in town. He did his job as far as catering to them. Before I even got a chance to get seated, Alina (a girl I met at Tao Beach the day before) comes running up to me. Apparently they didnt have a place to put their stuff, so I hooked it up with the real estate. The perk with Alina is apparently she knows all of Canadia. She brought her entourage of like 8 other Canadian girls as well. Yeay.. 4 guys, 9 girls. We are in business.

I quickly ordered a pitcher and we got settled in. As the alcohol hit us, the music was just too good to not shuffle to. Me and Mike B break into a shuffle while Sebastian goes out and recruits even more talent. The waitress was super friendly. Her name is Tracy Morrow and kindly asked that I send some ppl her way for guestlist. Look her up on FB, shes smoking. As the day went a long, we were taking pics and getting sloppy. Girls getting nip slips and hands were going on each others asses. Just the exact party we were looking for.

Things I should point out about Marquee is that the venue is new and modern. The view out of the cabana overlooks the center strip couldn't be any better. Also there are no other clubs/dayclubs out there that specifically have props, staff and regular DJ talent that is catered to house music. Thats why this place just became one of my favorite dayclubs that I will have to include on my schedule for years to come. I will upload pics as supporting evidence as well. Also here is a link that will give you a good feel of the vibe with Avicii there: (http://www.be-at....)

Shoutouts: Robert Montero, home grown http://JackColton... host. Go to him if you need anything for the dayclub. Derrick Runtas clutch as always at the lines.

Marquee! After all the promotions, ads and EDM big names coming through this place, my chance to visit has finally come during the AOD Invasion. LAX was on the schedule, and I base my clubbing decisions on the type of music played, Marquee was my best option on a Saturday. Oh, and a kind of famous DJ by the name of Kaskade was here as well.

I take the cab down here and meet up with 2/3s of Team Encore at the Chandelier Bar. I already see a line forming downstairs. Since its my first time here, I wander over and turns out they were just lining up to get to the escalator which takes you up to the actual entrance of the club. Once I get up there, I see the REAL entrance this time I texted Derrick Runtas who guided me through the maze of 6-8 lines. I saw Justen Crews, a long time JC host and he was able to get me through rope #1. There still 3-4 more ropes to go. For some reason I got distracted and was put in a line where people were lining up to pay cover. Things didn't look right, so I texted Derrick right away and he got me in the right line and the master rope was lifted finally.

Here comes the exciting part. After you took an escalator to get up here, then you get to take an elevator that takes you to one of the top floors of Cosmo. In the elevator there is a bouncer that greets you and the music is already bumping whatever the club is playing at that moment.  Once the door opens I walked into the place and it felt like a catacomb full of tunnels and mazes. Honestly I did not even get a chance to explore this whole place because it got crowded fast in a hurry. There were literally 1000's of people outside trying to get in.

Someone in team Encore had to go use the restroom and I had to go get a drink. This was the last I saw of my team. As I was roaming around through the club I saw Gubuju, and he flashes me his bank roll. Literally like 5K in cash in a money clip. "Whats this for boss?" "Collections on the grand cabana, swing by and chill with us.." "OK". You don't have to ask me twice since this is my first time visiting Marquee, doing it VIP was the right way to do it.  So after 10 minutes of dodging a concert sized dance floor crowd, we finally got up to the elevated area and the cabana.

In there I saw my girl Just_Cole, SexxiNikki. The bros Rescuediver, RickyReckon, Tao, Sweat_Shop and many others I was too drunk to remember. I gave em all fist bumps and decided it was an opportune time to do an AOD chant. Following the chant I had to chance to take some pics with the Magnums and Patron bottles with the sexy JC ladies. I also had a few minutes to look out the back window of the grand cabana, and it was an awesome view of the strip.

As the night went on, the alcohol started to kick in and the music switched gear into harder hitting house music. I thought this was a good time to start shuffling. I got Ricky and SweatShop into it. The only down side if any is that the outer courtyard area of the cabana includes a walkway, so you constantly have to dodge waitresses, bussers, bottle whores and just randoms walking through.  As we were shuffling these two girls come up to me and tell me my moves are bad ass. "So I want to dance for you!" "Sure, lets go grab a seat at the cabana.."

So I take the girl back to the cabana much to the dismay of Gubuju and JustCole. I had her friend talk to Gubuju so he was a little happier after that.  Cole yells out "FOUR!" .. "what... whore?" Turns out she was pointing out the rating of the girl I m with. haha I had no ideas, I was crunk. The girl started to give me a lap dance. I m not sure if she was wearing any under garments because I was getting wet spots over my jeans. She was a little too drunk to stand up straight and at this point fortunately Gubuju already called the bouncers on them to escort them out. I was being a gent and I got them to the door of the club.  For some reason she expected me to go back to the hotel with her? "Umm Kaskade is playing, hello. "

I head back to the cabana and had the best time ever shuffling with the boys. Kaskade just makes you feel the music. Marquee brings out the music like no other. If you dig EDM, mega clubs with a touch class. Marquee delivers like no other of our life time. Best in the world hands down.

Shoutouts - Derrick Runtas / Justen Crews. Both quality hosts that can get you great service at this venue.

I m sure most of you read my super angry post about IP by now. So I think its only right when a place does me good, I should reward them with a decent review. Crash rooms (super cheap rooms for a night) in Vegas are hit and miss. Most of the times because of the super cheap price, its usually a miss-TAKE. In this case we were pleasantly surprised with a room which happened satisfied all of our needs for a crash room, and we only had to pay $15 a night for it.

I found this deal through http://slickdeals.com, and they were having a FREE room special. Except they needed to charge you this $15 random fee. Either ways it was no loss to me, $15 is still cheaper then the next cheapest room which is IP at around $30. And I am NEVER staying there again.

We got in late afternoon on a Wednesday after a long drive. The casino was not hard to find at all off of Sahara Ave. Its tucked away on the other side of 15, but the signs are very obvious. The parking was not an issue. For the first time ever I was able to park in front of a casino like I was going to 7-11 to run some errands. This was kind of nice when moving our luggage. Oh get this, once you walk in the front door you can check IN! How about that? Most casinos make you go through tons of mazes since you are not valeting through the actual front entrance. So I was able to check in quickly with my "free special". Didn't get any complaints or weird looks from the receptionist at all. They even gave me 4 keys for our 3rd illegal immigrant roommate as well.

Getting to our actual room was a breeze. Elevators are next to receptionists that are next to the parking area. This makes for the perfect crash room! Now we gotta inspect the actual room itself. We didn't make any special requests, so they put us in this 5th floor room. We opened the door and we were amazed that they had some pretty sweet renovated decor. Flat screen TV! That is a luxury now days at crash rooms. The bathroom tiles were all nicely done with a glass shower. Everything you can imagine in a 4 star joint is here except for the dual sink, and bathroom TV.  I even asked for extra towels and they brought it up within 20 minutes. I had issues getting room service like that at the freaking ENCORE. Later on that day they followed up with a phone call to make sure I got my extra towels as well. How sweet!

I really having nothing but nice things to say about this place. I will definitely go out of my way to book  here for a crash room whenever I can. Just like their promo, they do really LOVE their locals. Even if I am only a honorary local for now.
