I haven't written for Yelp for a long time but I was so outraged by our experience here that I had to write this.
The service was terrible. The wait staff was uncoordinated and people would come by asking us the same questions without performing actions. Our head waitress wasn't even there half the time sending her underlings who weren't coordinated and kept asking questions like would you like coffee, even after we ordered coffee with another one of her minions. They would sacrifice quality service for quantity of random people that would show up at your table. Random servers would come to switch out utensils without asking, and when you said Thank You they would ignore you. Only one time did a server say you're welcome. Not only were they rude/haughty, they were slow. My water glass was empty more than half the time. The one good note about the service is that the guy that came out with my friend's desert had carried it wrong and the desert fell apart and he asked my friend if he wanted a new one but my friend declined. Overall, if you want good service even a chain like Ruth's Chris has infinitely better service, without the attitude, or a classy restaurant like Oceanaire has wait staff that is properly trained. Also, it took multiple requests to get more bread, and boy will you need it. The quantity is the worst out of any restaurant I've been to. The total amount of food per dish was roughly a palm each.
Now on to the food. The food wasn't bad but it was nothing to write home about. To be honest, the food is maybe a 3 star. However, the quantity made it abysmal. You could barely taste the food with the small quantity they served. There are two good points about their food though. Their dessert is excellent, not worth the $11.50 but excellent quality and presentation. Also, their bread was excellent and so was their butter. Can't say the same about their appetizers/entrees but at least their bread and dessert were good.
Now to explain why this place has such a high rating even though it doesn't deserve it. There were a lot of drunk frat-kids here when we went and being drunk fogs your memory. Thus, drunk people who just remember paying alot for very small quantity don't want to admit they are suckers so they say how great the view is or how great the service is because they're too sloshed to remember their bad experience. I've never been more disappointed in a meal but I should have heeded the warning signs when the majority of the views focus on the great view and supposed great service, but not the food quality.
In a nutshell... horrendous service - uncoordinated inept staff that try to make up bad attitudes with sheer quantity of staff that come to the table rather than offer quality service, average food but with outrageous prices for such mediocre quality, terrible atmosphere, a fool's trap. This is a great example of people justifying something unacceptable just because of the high price tag.

$1 for 80/20 pound of hamburger meat
$1.25 for a bag of Tortino's pizza rolls (40 pack)
$1.19 for a bag of Fresh & Easy potstickers (9 count)
$1.00 for a bag of 6 raisin bagels
$4.00 for 8 pounds of marinated chicken
$2.00 giant burritos
79 cents per pound for a whole, hormone free chicken!
My homepage is set to the fresh and easy website. The deals change weekly.
Oh and it's funny because I have a metal plate in my arm and set off the alarm when I go in and out but almost all the workers know me and are cool. They're super friendly.
This place is awesome, just so many good deals. It's like cheaper than Costco without having to buy the bulk. Oh and they have awesome free samples just like Costco! Even brand name items are cheaper than Ralph's and Von's. The surprising thing is that the Fresh & Easy brand items are really high quality and indistinguishable from the name brand items in general.
Trader Joe's is good for only a couple of things like fresh produce but Fresh & Easy is just like the funnest place to go to!
My favorite place in San Diego.

Oh and the servers are really cool too and there is a really hot server chick that works here too. Nice big screen TVs for watching games as well.
If you don't feel like sushi you can always get their lunch combo specials which are pretty good and change depending on the day: tonkatsu, kalbi, bulgogi, etc. That I would give a decent but nothing special.
Every place should be like this 50% of all rolls all the time or 40% to go. The sushi is so cheap you can tip 50% or even 100% and pay less than at typical sushi places.

Antique Thai Cuisine

Protip: the spicy scale is 1-10 but the servers are smart and when I brought my white friends here they adjusted -2 and saved my friends and with the -2 my friends were still like whoa this is spicy. The spiciness is a bit inconsistent and may be + / - 2 so just a heads up. If you are insane go for the 10... hope you have Thai Iced Tea around for an emergency cuz water will just make the burning worse haha

All I can say is, wow way to treat your customers right! I mean how hard is it to be a hostess. They have 2 hostesses up front and both didn't tell us this. There job is just to stand there and look pretty and to assume we wanted to be seated with the old geezers who don't want lobster tacos?
Oh and my friend's roommate Andrea said the regular food sucks here so we didn't stay and just left for Wahoo's to get some real tacos after wasting an hour and 20 minutes waiting.
Fuck this place.

Eric is what every business owner should be: honest, reliable and friendly. He answered about 45 minutes of questions from me because I'm a first time scooter owner and he was very patient and knowledgeable. He taught me how to check my scooter.
The IL Bello limited edition Flyscooter I bought from him was awesome. It came with a cool helmet and also an extra cargo container for free! The price was excellent as well, I checked other places online that wanted hundreds more. It also came with the gas tank full which was very convenient. He also tuned up my machine and made sure it ran perfectly and tested it himself as I watched. His service is excellent.
His friend Michelle helping out at the shop also taught me how to operate the scooter and gave me many great tips. She was very friendly and was a good teacher. I had a great experience purchasing my scooter here.
I plan on getting all servicing done here like the 1000 miles oil change and 1500-2k mile parts check (forgot name of this check). It's nice that it's a full-service scooter shop.
Oh on another note, he didn't have the helmet I wanted in stock so he placed an order for me the next order. That was very cool of him. Part of the reason why I bought the rad scooter was because it came with such a cool helmet as well for free. He even let me borrow a helmet temporarily so I could get the scooter home safely.People thought this was:

The service is amazing, definitely a top-notch staff.
The food is to die for... the crabcake is the best in the country and I've had crabcake in most major cities in the US. I've had it at the Foundation Room and other private places that you have to have a membership or invite only on business trips and yet this crabcake easily blows every other crabcake I've had out of the water. It's like 90% crab meat with just enough other filling and seasonings to accentuate the amazing taste and to keep its shape.
I could write on and on forever about how great this place is but in reality you already know it's amazing due to the 4.5 star average of over 300+ reviews.
I always thought seafood was decent but nothing special since I've been to a lot of decent seafood places across the country but never one that was amazing like this. Now, I love seafood thanks to Oceanaire.
