This place rocks!

The buyer here has a great eye.  The store is full of things that are stylish and fun.  And the prices are unreal.

Check it out.  You'll be glad you did.

What a cool business idea! Everyone in the room (there were 30 or 40 people) paints the same painting. There's an instructor who shows you how to do it. Everyone comes out with completely different results. But everyone likes their results. And they keep pouring wine! Fun!

This was the first time I had ever touched brush to canvas.  I was a little intimidated at first, but they did a great job of putting me at ease.  I'm pretty proud of my painting.  When we first started painting, I joked that I'd probably hang it in my furnace room.  As it turns out, however, I hung it in my main hallway for everyone to see! BAD Food!

This is a very simple business strategy: Use the cheapest possible ingredients and cover everything in spicy sweet sauce.

This is the WORST experience I've had with food in years that didn't involve actual food poisoning.

Everyone at my table hated it.

Plus, the prices are quite high.

I'll NEVER go back.

The employees were cheerful and friendly.

I love this place!

As an education industry professional, it gives me tremendous pleasure to see a private college with such a determined career focus.  These people get it.  It's about excellence.  Students need nothing less that GREAT skills to succeed in the real world.

ATA's uncompromising dedication to their ideals makes them a leader in career education, and deservedly so.

I am proud to give ATA my highest possible recommendation.

I'm shocked at how snippy some people can be.  Are you inflating your poor little ego by dumping on such a great place?  Wow!  Small minded people...

I'm adding my review to the 500 or so that are already here, only for one reason: this place has been unfairly castigated by people who don't get it.  It should AVERAGE 5 stars.

Otto is, quite simply the best pizzeria ever.  Take your traditional Italian style pizza place and add genius-level creativity.  This place is a treat in every sense of the word.  All of your senses will be glad you came.

Oh yeah, and a working person can enjoy it without risking bankruptcy.

Thanks Mario!

Seoul BBQ

I'm completely addicted to Galbi (Korean Ribs).

I have spent considerable time trying to perfect them at home.  No luck!  I can't figure out where to buy the meat or how to cut it or how to cook it.  Should be easy, right?  Nope.  I can do better than most Denver Korean restaurants, but can't even approach the really good stuff.

Seoul BBQ has the best in town.  Their Galbi is not spectacular like some of the Korean restaurants in New York or So Cal (Eat at Gyu Kaku in Manhattan if you ever get a chance!!!), but it is really, REALLY good.  I like the one that comes on a long bone with no marinade.

MMMMMMMMMM.....

Also, the place is clean.  I have confidence that my food has never touched a floor.

On the other hand, the service is amazingly bad.  I've eaten here five times now, and have yet to get satisfactory service.  The servers are nice, but they don't speak English well at all and most of them don't even speak Korean.  And they are certainly not attentive.  It seems like they all have more customers than they can handle.  It's frustrating.

What a delight!

This is one of those restaurants where you can tell the chef has taste buds.  This guy isn't just combining ingredients.  He understands what tastes good and has the talent to CREATE new and original experiences.  His dishes offer smells, textures, and flavor combinations that wake you up.  They aren't exotic, but they are unique.

Try it.

I WAS UP ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT RUNNING TO THE TOILET.  OVER AND OVER.

From a burger!  How is that possible in Denver in Winter?  It's not like the food sits out in the heat and spoils...

I ordered the burger with swiss cheese, and it came with pepper jack (which I hate), but I seriously doubt it was the cheese that gave me the runs.  Hint: Swiss is the one with holes in it.  I worked in a restaurant once where the cooks were out of control and the manager was too weak to rein them in.  They were ALWAYS stoned and actually tried to make the food unpleasant.  Maybe something like that is happening here.

Bar Louie, you made me suffer.  FU!  I curse you.  Please go out of business.

They won't go out of business, of course.  Their location is primo.  They could serve fecal matter on buns (God, I hope that's not actually what they fed me...) and still thrive there.

Do not eat here.

When will I ever learn?  If ANY of the reviews include the word "Dingy," move on.

Stupidly, I didn't listen to my intuition about this one.  I was drawn to the location.  So I called their reservations dept and I practically begged the representative to put me in the best rooms they have.  She said she had just the thing.  The Garden Suites were "completely remodeled" just two years ago.

Well, it turns out that "remodeled" means that someone went to Crate and Barrel and bought a nifty sink table with a marble top to install in the bathroom.  Bravo.  They also replaced the old shower rod with a curved one.  Wahoo!

This place was built a LONG time ago.  And since then, it has apparently been operated by private owners who refuse to invest in improvements.  Seriously.  This place is NASTY!

Specific complaints:

- The spider in the web outside our room eats birds.
- The room smells rancid and biological.
- Multiple sets of sex stains on the sofa.
- Uncomfortable, ancient, dirty mattresses.
- Bugs everywhere.
- Small things that bite.
- The previous occupant left half-eaten food in the fridge and it was still there when we arrived.
- Old.
- A mentally limited man played guitar and sang bad country songs outside our room until late one night.
- One of our neighbors used a 14 inch BBQ grill (the kind you buy at 7-11) to feed his family every night of their stay.
- Our room was over $200/night (which seemed reasonable before we saw the place).
- The carpet in the room is 30-year-old, super cheap, super thin, outdoor-grade.
- We all had itchy rashes when we left.

Take your chances somewhere else.
