Great food and drinks, but not so great atmosphere. We went there on a Boston Deal and sat at the bar. No one else was there. The bartender made a good drink, but he wasn't friendly, and it was all pretty mechanical. We stuck with the small plates which were excellent except the meatballs tasted weird and had a funny texture.

The atmosphere and decor make it seem like a place I would bring my grandma on Mother's Day. It has white table clothes which just seem too formal. Pair that with the coral paint, and it gives it a kind of function room vibe and doesn't really make me want to run back there. Te next time I had a taste for tapas, I went to Soleo in Waltham instead.

The owner sent a response and an apology shortly after I wrote the review. A couple of weeks later out of the blue she contacted me again to refund my money and to tell me that although the feedback was hard to hear, she made a decision to go completely non-smoking. Now that's treat customers service. I don't know if I'll make it back to Jerome, but if I do, I would stay here.

I had booked this place eight nights, but left after three. The reason I left was that I was told on my last day, I would be getting an "upgrade" to a chalet and I would have to pack all of my stuff up by 11 and they would probably have the chalet ready by 3. I was annoyed because I was told I would have to spend my last day of my vacation packing up, not having a room, and scheduling my day around their schedule, unpacking for a night and repacking the next morning. Fortunately, another guest had asked about extending her stay so I was able to get a full refund for the nights I didn't stay there and didn't have to get into an argument over it.

The grounds are very nice. There is a pool, hot tub, grills, and red rocks are visible from the rooms. They have two lodging options. One type is standalone chalets that look pretty interesting, but I never actually saw the inside. I had one of the studio efficiencies, that is a true bed and breakfast since you can literally roll out to bed and cook some scrambled eggs. The place was clean and in really good condition.  It's a good place for people who bike since you can get to trails right from there and people who don't want to go out to eat during their stay.

Charming place. The food is kind of pricey and wasn't anything special for me, but it is adorable and located on one of the higher-tiered streets with great view of town and valley below. The people working there couldn't be any friendlier. I recommend going for a coffee, muffin, and a view.

I came here twice on a trip to Sedona and I was pleased both times. The first time I got one of the vegetarian pizzas with the organic crust and added scallops. I also had the blue cheese salad. Both were excellent and even though it was a little expensive, it was worth it and there were enough leftovers for dinner the next night. The next time I had the past which I wasn't sure about since I never had gluten free pasta before. I couldn't tell the difference in the taste. Yeah, it has a bit of a chain vibe going on, but the staff were friendly, and I would go back there when in Sedona as a sure bet that you can get a decent meal after wasting a bit of money on some places that weren't so good.

The ice cream is made from scratch and you don't even have to walk in to smell the whip cream and waffle cones. Everyone who walks by comments on the aroma.  I recommend the espresso flavor.

Great latte and one of the best biscotti I ever had. This place is really cool. It has a very relaxed atmosphere without attitude and really good coffee. I went here as a I was passing through Flagstaff and had a relaxing morning before heading out of town.

Nellie Bly II claims to be the largest kaleidoscope store in the country, or maybe they said the world. Either way, I've never been to a kaleidoscope store and  it's a pretty cool place. Julie, who works there, showed me a camera trick of taking a photo through a kaleidoscope so your image appears with the design. She took one of me so I have a free souvenir of Jerome. They also have a jewelry shop next store with a lot of nice things.

Inside is pretty plain, but it's a good place to have a quiet beer and watch the sunset since it is down the road a bit from the center of town. They have a couple of tables and a bench outdoors. Didn't try the food.

Great breakfast, lousy coffee. It's a pretty busy place, but I got seated quickly and the server was very friendly. I got the blue corn huevos rancheros, which were really good meal and has some kick. I can't recommend the coffee since it is like most breakfast places, the coffee is awful. My guiding rule is that if a place has an espresso machine, you have a somewhat decent chance that the coffee will be good. If it doesn't and it is the type of place that keeps refilling your mug, the coffee is likely to be lousy.
