Antico is absolutely the best pizza effort to date in Atlanta.

Food: I have only had the pizzas so far, and they are outstanding. Most of the ingredients are brought in from Italy, as is most of the staff, it seems. So hopefully they're buying some carbon credits along with the work visas.

Atmosphere: well it is true that seating is limited, but deal with it, people. They have created something unique.  You sit in the kitchen or at a large table in their more finished front, and it's a great community experience. Atlantans are so insulated and this is a refreshing change. I meet someone new and have a real conversation with a total stranger every time I go, and I love that. So go ahead and park it next to those people and relearn your social skills. You just might enjoy it. It's a little taste of Italy, and a welcome one for me.
