I am about to graduate from college and I wanted to reward myself by getting a brand new 60-inch TV to celebrate.  So I had decided to get one during black Friday/cyber Monday sales.  Even after the sale prices I couldn't find one that fit what I was willing to spend.  But I was still in need of a TV so I started looking at my other options.  Lucky for me I stumbled upon Taylor's Rentals.

I saw a few ads on craiglist, stating that they had the best prices around town.  I was hesitant at first, but after some googling I did find a legitimate website and a positive yelp review.  At this point it was worth continuing a conversation with them.  I communicated with them via emails mostly where I stated what I wanted and they responded back quickly with different options and pricing for both rental and rent to own.  After some more emails and looking at my finances I actually decided a 42-inch LCD HDTV was more in my price range.  These guys were very fast with their replies back and forth and within two days I had a TV in my room.  The item I got was brand new in its original box and was opened in front of me where they installed it for me.  They even called me during to day to give me about an hour window for deliver, this way I didn't have to wait around all day wondering when it would come.  I couldn't have asked for better service!

I wish I had heard about them during college I could have gotten a few more luxury items that I really wanted.

So you come in, hostess seats you, server takes your drink order, server comes back with drink order, then they disappear.. Really? I waited at least 30 minutes until someone finally came out of the kitchen so I can wave them down and get a refill. They seriously need to put more staff on during the brunch/lunch rush.

They just recently renovated the place and everything looks very fancy but it still doesn't make up for the horrible service and mediocre food.

The fries is my only favorite item on the menu. The spices and amount of cheese is perfect. Though they put very little meat on your fries which is my only complaint. Next is the quesadillas which are okay. they put a generous amount of everything so make sure and get that. As for the tacos, they barely give you enough meat so it is not worth getting. Total rip off on tacos.

I haven't partied in midtown in a while and after coming here this past weekend gives me a reason to come back to the area.

I made sure to dress to impress and to have a female companion so I wouldn't get any BS from the door guy.

They played house, top 40, and hip hop, which is my favorite combination of music, the dance floor was a bit small so I had a hard time moving from one place to another, and the down stair's bars were a hassle to get drinks because the bartender was too busy doing his bartender tricks. Either pre-drink before you come or get bottle service to avoid the wait at the bar.

Looking for a place to snack and pre-drink before bar/club hopping and came here. They stop serving food at 10:30pm on a Saturday night so luckily we made it in time before they closed the kitchen. Just got a couple sushi rolls.

After 10:30, it turns into a bar/lounge with live DJ music. This place is legit and I'm definitely coming back.

This is a great place for happy hour. Most food items on the HH list are under $3 and the portion sizes are good. I ordered the brio burger, ravioli caprese, and shrimptini

If the weather is great I recommend sitting outside. They have a nice little backyard style setup.

I agree with the other reviews of this place. You do get that Miami/Vegas vibe when you come here but for me, only the roof top gave me that vibe. This place has 3 party sections: The Dance floor which is the first floor, 2nd floor had more of a bar/lounge vibe, and my favorite, the roof top. You have a great view of downtown Corpus Christi, another DJ set, two bars, and tables if you plan to do bottle service. I do however give a 3 STAR on drink prices. A bit too pricey for me. If you want to save a little money on drinks I suggest go back downstairs and head to stereo bar which is next door and get drinks at that bar.

I was in a t-shirt, khaki shorts and loafers so was a bit skeptical about being up to dress code but the door guy let me in. However I did feel a bit underdressed because all the guys were wearing nice jeans and a button up.

I came here on a mission and that mission was to get drunk. My friends recommended me to order a drink called the "YETTI." Seriously though, when I poured the drink, it looked like pouring motor oil out of a beer bottle. It was thick and had a very dark taste. It tasted horrible but did the job.

Make sure to bring some extra fedia($$$) because drinks are expensive.

This leads me to my next review, our server. I ordered two beers which totaled to $28 for my tab. I left a 15% tip and the server had the audacity to  come up to me with puppy dog eyes and fault me of undertipping. I was shocked when he asked me "did I do something wrong?" I replied " no you did an excellent job. You took my drink order as if I ordered from the bar. It is the same scenario. If i made another order of drinks or ordered food that would require more service then I would have bumped it up to 20%.

Am I wrong or right? I need feedback so I can be justified on my tip..

This place reminds me of Rudy's bbq because you order your meat by the pound! Duck, Chicken, Pork, FIsh, you name they cut

SnowFish with black bean sauce (seasonal item) - 5/5 - this item is too expensive for such a small portion =(

Restrooms are not the best so just stick to washing your hands and handle your business elsewhere.

Customer service could use some improvement though. My friends and I had to flag down our server at least 3 times to get refills on our drinks. Not once did they come to our table and offered a refill.

The food tasted empty..
