Because it was once a movie theater there is an awkward slant in the floor. This doesn't seem like too much of a problem at first but things quickly become rather unpleasant standing on this slope in heels. I could tolerate this if the sound was excellent. Unfortunately this is not the case.
After the show you are quickly escorted out which is not uncommon after most shows. However, on one occasion, we were told we could go downstairs where there is a bar. Within 10 minutes of hanging out downstairs we were being escorted out. This is only after several of my friends had bought drinks. Well they could stay until they finished their drink but everyone else had to leave.
My advice to you, if you if there is a show here that you simply cannot miss, wear your chucks and then leave the premises immediately.

If Maxwell's were in NYC it'd be my favorite music venue. You'll get better sound and a more intimate setting from the same band you can see the next day in NYC. Usually worth the hassle to get to Hoboken as long as you're not standing behind the 5'6" guy with a huge afro.
1- Don't hire a crazy rude hostess.
2- Don't refuse to seat a party because two people are on their way when only a couple of tables are occupied. (If you do decide to do this there is NO reason to be rude about it!)
3- Don't intentionally seat said party next to another couple when most of the tables in the restaurant are NOT occupied just to prove a point.
4- FIX problems don't make them worse.
5- Don't let the waiter argue with your customers especially when said waiter is absolutely wrong.
5- Most definitely do NOT have the hostess step in during an argument.
I can't even comment on how the food was here. I was only left with a nasty taste in my mouth from the lousy "service". I'd give this place 0 stars if I could.

In addition to seeing some potential future superstars, you can occasionally catch a current Met playing a rehab game here while on the DL.
If you exit the lower level of the store and walk past the elevators you'll find the Brooklyn Baseball gallery. It's very small. Much of the displays are replicas but for a buck it's worth a walk thru.
A couple things to note... this is Single-A ball. Don't expect to see a major league caliber baseball game. Also, it is extremely kid friendly. If you don't want to see silly games and hot dog races between innings, a Cyclones game isn't for you. And maybe you should consider lightening up! Be a kid for a day. Also, great for place to see a concert. And no, I didn't see Daft Punk here.
