A friend of ours recommended getting brunch at Moe Joe's.  Honestly I had driven by without even giving it a second look.  I wish I had tried it earlier!

The steak tips were excellent.
The linguica omelete was delicious.
French toast was pretty good.
And you HAVE to try the Portuguese homefries. They were incredible!

Incredibly disappointed. Stopped in for dinner with friends. Waited out front and noticed they were seating parties with the same number of people. The hostess told us she tried paging but we were too far away. (a group of people were 20 feet beyond us and their buzzer went off). Then she told us there must be something wrong with the buzzer, but she put it back in they stack they were using to hand out.

Got our table and had to wait almost 10 min for our waiter. So instead of ordering just drinks we ordered our meals too. Saw our waiter once before he brought the bill. Had to stop passing staff to ask for refills and more chips/salsa. The food came quickly but was mostly overbooked and dry.

We used to love La Caretta but haven't been impressed recently. The food is not worth the wait or hassle.

This was our first time eating a meal at Villa Banca.  We had been there for an event earlier and thought the food was good.  So when we decided to meet up with a friend we hadn't seen in 10 years, we decided to go for dinner.

I still think it odd they use paper tablecloths, but the service was good.  One of the people dining with us enjoyed a special drink the bartender made the night of the event we had been to but couldn't remember the name.  The waiter surprised us by coming back a little later to suggest what it was -- he tracked down the woman who had been tending bar that night to find out.  

We started with salads, they were all fresh and crispy.  Two caesar salads and a pear salad.  All good.

We shared some bruschetta, which had a very nice blend of cheese and was perfect with some freshly grated pepper.

Our entrees were all good.  I tried the chicken frangelico.  The waiter warned me it was sweet, but I didn't really pay attention.  Yes, it was sweet.  Delicious, but sweet.  Not sure if I would order again because I tend to prefer savory.

On the whole it was a good meal with great conversation.

Their chocolates may be good, the service was terrible.  Stopped in for a hot beverage and I was completely ignored.  There were only two of us in there besides the employee -- and the other guy moved out of my way so he wasn't blocking the counter.  The girl behind the counter looked at me, then picked up a little whiteboard and asked the other guy what she should draw.

Ended up going up the street to Riverwalk Cafe.   I'm sure I could have made a scene to get service, but honestly I'm not invested enough to bother.  

If you can't acknowledge customers, I have no desire to return.

I have to say, wow! I read the reviews and decided we should give Cafe Momo a try, so we stopped in for dinner tonight.  Satis (hopefully I'm spelling that right) met us when we walked in, very friendly and welcoming.  

We started with the chicken momos and choila.  Both were excellent.  For dinner we had the goat curry and the Katmandu chicken.  The blend of flavors in both dishes were incredible, the meats tender, and the vegetables were perfect.  We washed it down with a strawberry lassi (the best lassi I've EVER had.)  We even brought home a Katmandu thaili for our neighbor.

I had read in the reviews about how great the vegetables are, but I'm still amazed.  It's hard enough for me to find good vegetables this time of year (February) but even the best I find weren't as good as what they served.  

I'm still psyched that I checked Yelp for a new restaurant to try.  The high rating on Cafe Momo was definitely accurate.  I told Satis how we had found them and he said Yelp was the best way new customers are finding them online.  Very cool!

I HIGHLY recommend the jazz brunch!  We stopped in today, the music was great, the atmosphere was great, the food was great, and the service was excellent!

We had planned on eating at home, but decided last minute to run out for a bite to eat (around 9pm).  Saw all the great ratings on Yelp and decided to give Yokohama a go.  Started off with the vegetable tempura, which was excellent.  Two of us shared some maki (rolls) and one got the beef teriyaki.  The rainbow rolls and lobster rolls we excellent.  The other one we got (can't remember the name) wasn't as good.  We told them about it and the offered to make something else -- unfortunately at that point we were stuffed, so they very kindly took it off the bill.  We all tried some of the beef teriyaki, which had a nice flavor and came sizzling on a platter.

The staff was seriously attentive, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the bathroom was well maintained.  Even with the rolls we weren't fond of, it was a great experience and I'd happily go there again.  

It was a good find worth trying.

Stopped in for lunch.  We ate on the patio, within minutes of being seated, our waiter Hector was taking our drink order and chips with salsa and black bean dip arrived.  The service was fantastic.  I had beef quesadillas, they were good.  Not phenomenal, just good.

The overall experience totally made it worth the stop for lunch!

We went to Parkers years ago and had a bad experience -- so I've avoided it since then.  Finally decided to have a go at it again and went out for brunch on Friday morning.

It was passable, but definitely not the best food.  Service was decent.  We both had eggs and I ordered a blueberry pancake.  The pancake was blue-ish, but had very few blueberries.  The syrup (their hallmark) was far from the best NH maple syrup I've had.  The eggs were cooked well and the home fries were slightly crispy -- a nice surprise.

I'd recommend Parkers for the tourist experience, but if you're looking for great breakfast/brunch foods I'd look elsewhere.

Service was excellent, food wasn't.

Met up with friends in Boston on Saturday and we went over to the Union Oyster House.  They sat us immediately and the service was great.  Then the food came.  We had a calamari appetizer -- it was ok, but I've had better calamari.  For the meal I had the fried scrod and a friend had the chicken club.  The scrod was ok, but not exciting.  My friend's chicken club was very dry.

Interesting experience to try out the oldest restaurant in the country, but I'd recommend against it if you are going for the food.
