A friend of mine has the pleasure of knowing the owners of this family owned Italian eatery and decided to bring me food back so I could try it for myself. Let me tell you...I think I'm hooked!! =]
She brought me a container of the Boscaiola sauce and of the minestrone soup. Both were fabulous! That sauce....mmmmm...tha t sauce...let's just call it naughty!! HA! It was one of the best sauces I have ever tried...in.my.life. Yeah, it's that good! It's sauteed (homemade and freshly ground) Italian sausage and mushrooms in the most flavorful tomato cream sauce I've ever tried! SOOOOOO good!! I could eat it out of the container like soup for God's sake! And the minestrone was also fantastic. Very fresh, rustic and with a very unique and delicious flavor. And I hear their cream of chicken is to die for...so I can't wait to find out what days they have that so I can go get a quart or 7! =]
Those are the only two items I tried so far but can only imagine that everything is just as delicious! I can't wait to go back and you local Naper-villains ( Yeah...I'm talking to you Candice G...and I stole your word...word?!) should give it a try, you will ditch whatever local pizza place you have been going to and make the switch to the deliciousness that IS Tutti's!

So I called UP's on a snowy Friday asking all about what they could do for me in the form of a pasta pizza. I told her that I would like a fettucini Alfredo with grilled chicken, broccoli and sauteed mushrooms stuffed (well, pan actually, but you get the idea) pizza. And she said that they had just made the spaghetti with sausage pan pizza for the awesome guys over at Bigby's so of course they could do it for me!! Amazing customer service, I must add!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE places that don't tell you "no"...that's like one of my favorite things in the whole world. Literally. Mainly cause I don't like anyone telling me "no", but that's besides the point...I LOVE it! =]] So I drove 45 min from VP to Addison in a snowstorm to pick up this like 7 pounds of deliciousness to find out the charge was only $27!! A total steal BTW!
Now to the good stuff...the pasta pizza itself. It was awesome! Period. If you've never tried such a thing you must call UP's and ask them to create one just for you!! It was gooey, cheesy and had lots of chicken, broccoli and mushrooms! We had five people here eating it and still had about 1/4 of the pizza left, if not a little more. Run...seriously..don't walk...run to get yourself one, well, and I'm sure the run couldn't hurt since the food to follow is creamy, cheesy deliciousness!!! HA! =]] Thanks Uncle Pete's for making my pizza pasta dream come true!

OMG...this.place.is. amazeballs.period. I LOVED everything about this place, from the look and feel of the place, to the people that work there, the FOOD of course and the cute little old people sitting outside waiting for their food to be warmed up. Awwww....so cute. I got there at like 10:45 on a weekday and it was already hoppin'! The line to order was probably like 5 people deep and once I left that number easily doubled, yeah, people know what's up! Everything looked so good, but since it was cash only and all I had was $50, I had to limit my "outofcontrolness". I mean, I was ordering for 3 people, mmmkkkk?!
Anyways, I ordered some arancini balls (original and spinach and mozz), fried artichoke, fried stuffed artichoke, potato croquettes, a loaf of pepperoni bread, some stuffed gnocchi with vodka sauce, pasta with peas and sausage and a slice of broccoli pizza. Phewwww...that's all?!?! HA! Seriously...EVERYTHI NG was amazingggggg!!! My favorite, on the real tip, was the broccoli pizza...SO good! I cannot wait to get back in here and try some more of their fantastic food! Freddy's knows what they are doing when it comes to amazing Italian food in an old school, friendly setting! Love.

The parking lot has LOTS of spaces so I was able to find close parking with no problem. I entered through the main entrance which is gorgeous, wall fountain, stained glass EVERYWHERE which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!! It felt more like a hotel than a hospital. The customer service was impeccable too!
I went in for a breast ultrasound so I only got to check out the main entrance and the Green wing where radiology is, but it was all so amazing that I can only imagine what everything else looks like! The ultrasound machine was amazing and the room was more like a hotel room, very warm and comfortable instead of being white and sterile feeling.
I would recommend this hospital to anyone in the area and to anyone I know expecting a baby because I can only IMAGINE how amazing those maternity suites are!!! =]]

Well here it is!
The salon is located in a tucked away strip off of York Rd. which gives it a private and comfortable feel. The place just smells relaxing when you walk in from whatever scents they have going on inside, which I love. They also offer you a drink the second you walk in, I prefer the water with the cucumber floating in it...ahhhhhh...refreshing!
I have gone in here for haircuts, up-do's (and TRUST that I worked that shit!), wax jobs, wedding hair and makeup and as of recently, my first color job. All experiences have been super pleasant and my girl, Ginger, one of the owners/directors is AMAZING!!! She makes you feel like family and you know you can trust her with your hurrrr!!! They are on the pricey side, but it's definitely to be expected due to the service they provide and the area. I will continue to go see Ginger and you should too!! =]]

It is much smaller than I expected, but it made for a cozy and more relaxed environment, which I liked. We each got a 24 oz. beer (Blue Moon for me and Newcastle for Fred) and food for like 7 people!! HA! But that's how we roll...mmmmkkkk?!?!
We tried the Devil's Toothpicks and the Fried Paradise with pickles and mushrooms. The Toothpicks was the winner of the two....it was chorizo, bacon, cheddar and jalapenos stuffed inside a flour tortilla and deep fried like a chimichanga and served with ranch...I mean...honestly...can it GET any better?!?!?! It was SOOO good!!
We also ordered an array of wings to see if they were as good as we had heard. We tried two dry rubbed (chili lime and Cajun) and two wet (parm garlic and spicy garlic). The standouts for us were the Cajun dry and the parm garlic wet. They were HUGE HUGE HUGE and perfectly cooked and seasoned!! I could not ask for more in a wing! They are just perfection on a bone! HA! I honestly can't wait to get back and try more flavors, I mean they have like 786876!! =] But definitely put this on your New Year's list as a must try!!
No..I didn't think so. So just get your ass over there and eat.

We got there right around 10 for a 10 o'clock show, but it didn't start for another 30 minutes so I had plenty of time to make my way to the stage to be front and center!! =] The special for the band was 16 oz. Colt 45 for $3...so duh...of course, that's what we drank! The service was a little slow but that's to be expected on a band night. I would probably go back and check this place out again when it's not a band night to see what the feel is when people aren't dancing and seeing along to Regulator!! HA!

Anyways... =] I went here to do a wedding tasting with friends who are getting married next December. The place is very easy to find and SUPER cute! The decor makes it feel like you are in someone's dining room when you are doing the tasting which I loved, you just felt at home.
Our hostess for the two hour tasting was Missy, who I must say was uh-mazing!! She definitely appreciated the awesomeness that was our group, which takes a special person to appreciate!! HA! She was very knowledgable about everything and anything that we wanted to know, which was refreshing.
So, we tried about 30 items, yes you are reading correctly...we had a feast of samplings and wine. OMG...the wine...it was so good. I HAD to have had like 6 glasses! Lush. But seriously, everything was good and some things were amazing! The standouts for me were the bacon wrapped scallop with an orange butter sauce dolloped on top, the little Asian inspired edible paper package, asparagus soup, jumbo shrimp and the chocolate creme brulee. This place has some SERIOUSLY good flavor combinations, the sizes I felt could be a tad bigger, but other than that, it was very good. I would definitely recommend for any of my friends who get married in the future to go for a tasting and see for themselves what a good caterer is all about! =]
