I've been called in by the fresh bread, blackberry mint ice tea, and papers on the table for drawing, time and time again. once again, it's my birthday, and I pick Macaroni Grill.
Our service was very nice, I was able to use my coupons, and a candle came on my cheesecake.
But my favorite meal (Carmela's Chicken Rigatoni) has been "toned" down in flavor and ingredients, presumably to be palatable to more clients. I really really liked it before! not that I won't try again, I probably will, but I might not pick it as my destination for my special birthday dinner.

They had games, including and trivial pursuit cards that kept us throughly entertained while we waited.
The breadsticks were okay, but the cold tomato paste it was served with really didn't do anything for me.
The pizzas were just ok, nothing fabulous. Substitutions on the standard pizzas were no problem for them, and i appreciated that. Having red pepper flakes on the table made my pizza one step better, actually.
I may return.

upside, we found an open Thai place when the one we intended on visiting with a livingsocial was closed. lots to choose from, my vegetarian husband loved all his options - soy peppered beef was good.
our servings were small, but we did get a free rice refill. cashew stirfry had very few cashews. all doable. but waiting over 10 mins between bring completely done with dinner a no check? my husband had to go ask for it. that put a damper on our visit. I did leave with a smile for cinnamon candy, and a nice young employee running out with my forgotten jacket!

Visited for the first time thanks to getting a groupon. We'll definitely be back.
The inside is modern-cozy, really nicely decorated. The food was really good - we both tried baked pasta dishes with the full meal option to test out the garlic bread. It all was delicious.
Skimming the reviews, I really want to go back and try the pizza next!

I love this place. It's such a delightful breakfast stop. Brightly colored walls and decorations.
My favorite is the Chai Oatmeal - last time it wasn't on the menu, but they made it for me anyhow. There are plenty of vegetarian items for my husband too.
I wish I was a little closer so I could go here more often!

We tried this restaurant last year, and didn't really have a memorable experience, so we tried again. It was okay, but nothing super. Diet coke came in a can not particularly cold. The pineapple fried rice was a bit boring without very many pieces of chicken or pineapple.
This was a cute cupcake shop. The shop itself is really tiny, though! It would be easier for more people to order and eat if there was a bit more space. The cupcake was delicious - we tried the Red Velvet.
Me and some girl friends had a delightful time here. The waiter was funny and attentive. The food was good, especially the fries. And *definitely* save room for desserts - all we tried were delicious.
We sat on the covered porch, and there was a nice view that enticed us out and across the street to see the falls. There was pleasant music quietly in the background, just low enough for atmosphere but not too loud we couldn't talk.

Vancouver Land Bridge

I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice presentation the Vancouver Land Bridge had. I was skeptical, it seemed like it would be just a basic overpass and a bit of a waste of money. However, we parked at the overflow at Who Song and Larry's and walked under the railroad bridge to get to the entrance of the project.
We were greeted by a neato arch with oars and nice wood and stone. Then we started up the path and found really interesting pavement, nice on our feet for walking. I had to read each sign and information piece along the way, and it would be fun to come back when some of the native plants were actually showing. There were seats and edges on the way up for if you need a rest along the way. And then when we got to the top of the overpass, there were really cute seats with metal carvings and a lot of indian words.
After getting to the top, there is still a bit to see - walk further and it's close to the Evergreen airport and planes actually land very close to where you stand!
We'll definitely go back.

I've had multiple dishes, with even special requests that came out nice. The peanut sauce is nice.
We like to visit here and then walk over to Coldstone and hit the Safeway in town on grocery night!
