If it weren't for all the yuppies, I'd come here all the time.  It's weird the way semi-fancy Mexican food attracts white yuppies.  Why is that?  Nonetheless, the food is super fun.  The service was a little odd but I think it was just our waitress and not reflective of everyone who worked there.

The masseuse's long nails were painful.

I've had many massages and I never felt their finger nails.  Therefore, I surmise, massage therapists usually have short nails.  Well, not at Armonia -- apparently when deciding between customer service and gaudy nail fashion, they choose the latter.

Stacy is awesome!

She is super nice and really knows her stuff.  Her facial was the best ever.  I think she offers a wide variety of wonderful services like ion treatments, sudatonic infrared therapy, etc.  She's got all the gadgets and creams.  But it's her bedside manner that really makes the difference.

Plus, the spa is relaxing and professional.  It's a oasis in the middle of downtown.

If you go there, you should specifically request Stacy.  You won't be disappointed.  ;-)

I am 100% satisfied.  High quality, low price.

Scot is really easy to work with.  He is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly.

The studio has all the fixins: tons of quality mics, vocal room, isolated amp rooms, etc.  There is even a couch for your girlfriends, so they can text in comfort while you chase your dream of being a rock star.

But keep in mind that the studio takes up the entire basement of the small house, and the studio doesn't look like a professional studio.  But looks can be deceiving.

Go to his website to hear samples.

The sandwiches aren't bad.  They just lack luster.  I guess if you need a quick lunch, then you could do worse... I think.

Wasabi Bistro Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Best thing about Wasabi Bistro: comfy seats.  The chairs have much padding.  Why are restaurants chairs always so uncomfortable?  Padding = profit.  Think about all the people with hemorrhoids who will frequent a restaurant with adequate padding.  It just makes sense.

The remodel is great.  The happy hour is fantastic (great food, good value, wide selection).  Nice service.

The bathroom was extremely dark but thinking back I reckon the main lights were not on.  Only the light behind the mirror was on.  I could barely see what I was doing.

This has nothing to do with the restaurant, but I have to complain about the family sitting next to us.  They were staring at us.  They all gawked when each of our happy small plates arrived.  I forgive the small children but the father was also a gawker.  Each time a plate arrived he stared at it and talked out loud about whether he wanted to order the same.  One of the kids was staring at me for an eternity.  I like kids.  They're cute.  But if my child was staring for several minutes at a stranger I would direct her to stop.  Ugh, as I'm thinking back on it I'm getting more annoyed.  Have you ever had someone stare at you as you eat?  It's disturbing.  That little girl was creeping me out.  In an effort to get her to stop looking I would occasionally stare back at her, but that only encouraged her to continue.  Perhaps you are thinking: she was... "special."  No.  She was not.  She was just following her father's example, who also stared at us.  I thought about teaching the father some manners but instead I decided to write a yelp review.  That'll show him.

Love it.  Good food.  Nice atmosphere.  Good service.  A little pricey.  Great neighborhood.

Some people want traditional sushi -- this place has it. But their "modern sushi" is their forte. Imagine your favorite roll... now imagine it with a super tasty sauce drizzled on top... now imagine the whole roll is fried in the tempera-style!

    Q: What's better than sushi?
    A: Deep fried sushi.

I forgot how much I liked this place.

I used to come here in college during the grunge years.  I remember getting those huge burritos for what, three bucks?  (Wow, I sound old.)

Super easy karaoke -- you use iPads to search and queue up your songs!  And I think this is the only karaoke box in which you can drink without a banquet license.  The rooms are trendy and cozy.  Fun times.
