I must admit this place is a second home for me but it has had it's flaws. The staff are all great. They know their customers by name and keep up with their lives like a second family. But they are (understandably) up-tight about people trying out instruments which can be a bit annoying as a musician looking to connect with an instrument. Also, some of the staff are renown for making people feel stupid which is not a nice feeling to leave your customers with. Once you get to know them all though it's easy to look past.

My initial impression of this place was very positive. They had a cool name which inspired intrigue and seemed to all be very nice people. In fact I would have been willing to look over many of the obvious flaws of this new company had they just done what they said they were going to do.

Let's talk about it: I recently started a small software venture to keep track of all my little crazy software ideas to make sure the government is getting their cut and it's all legit blah blah blah scam scam. I was doing some research into marketing and advertising but mostly building a brand for my company. I drive by Sofa Communications every morning on my way to work and they're sign used to say "Marketing" on it so I figured I'd stop in and do a little consult with them to tell them what my plans were and what I wanted. When I walked in the door everybody in the room sort of turned and looked at me like I was not supposed to be there or something (even though they have a store front) then I was awkwardly greeted by someone and we sat down to talk. When I told them that I was looking for marketing and mostly brand building they sort of looked at me with blank faces (which didn't inspire a lot of confidence from the start) then they said they'd brainstorm a bit and get back to me within the week. Well that was in June 2010. I never received a phone call. I never received an e-mail. I never received anything from them.

After seeing how they're new branding initiative I am urged to believe they are actually just a web site / graphic design shop and nothing more. The worst part about this: I was approved for a $25,000 business grant most of which was going to be spent on marketing. Damn shame for them.

If your serious about doing business then I suggest you go elsewhere. Not sure how they have survived as long as they have treating potential customers like that.

I'm so sick of hearing "The Moose has the best wings in the Bay" because its BS! Don't ever fall for this BS trap! The wings used to be the best but they just suck now. Your better off to visit Tammy's or better yet the Bull and Quench. I have heard rumors that a local strip club has truly the best wings in the Bay. But I am not brave enough to eat wings at a strip club (especially one that has the reputation that the Mozy has).

The atmosphere here is a cool lodge feeling one with wood logs making up what appears to be the buildings entire interior construction.  It's also nice and clean. Whenever I go it's pretty much solely for the atmosphere and not the food. Although the food is good, I just wanted to make it clear that the wings are not the best in the city.

The service here is also great. In my most recent visit however we had a waitress whom I am pretty sure was born with only a quarter of a normal human brain. But I don't want to let that one bad experience out of the many many good experiences I've had there ruin this places rating.

This is one of those restaurants you'll hear a lot about in North Bay. But in my opinion you shouldn't go running to find it. If you end up in it then enjoy it, if not, plan to hit it next time. Not a big loss if your visiting the Bay. Don't let someone convince you otherwise.
