De Young!! De Best!! A must see for every San Francisco tourist and Bay Area native!!

My favorite art exhibit at the De Young is also the first masterpiece you notice upon entering the museum. Titled "Drawn Stone" by Andy Goldsworthy, the canvas is the floor and roadway of the entrance which consists of cracks and large stones. I recall having a very profound discussion about Andy Goldsworthy's work with an African American street musician who always plays at the front of the museum. (Someone please get me his name!!) It was very interesting and insightful. I've been here a few times and I still look forward to seeing the resident collections, albeit the seasonal exhibits keep the experience new.

Tip: You can get in for FREE on every FIRST TUESDAY of the month. On one occasion, I got in for free 30 minutes before closing time and I was able to take pictures with my camera phone.

I was so impressed with the level of customer service the staff at Bloomies provided that I called the owner to commend them for all their help.  I bought an orchid and a bouquet of assorted flowers as birthday gifts. The experience was actually very educational. I learned a lot about the different aromas, cultural origin, and names.  I seriously gained a deeper interest  and appreciation for flowers after a chat with these CAL students.

I was very impressed when I first joined this gym. They offer numerous promotions making a short term commitment affordable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place has 2 floors with areas designated for cardio workout, weight lifting, and dance. There's a lot of equipment that's relatively new and advance. Over all, the gym and the bathrooms are clean.. or so it seems!! I have one major complain about this gym. It's not as sanitary as it looks. Sadly, after spending three days in the steam room, I got "Hot Tub Folliculitis". Initially, I noticed a red like rash around my waist so I went to the doctor who advised me of such condition. I immediately reported the situation to the Supervisor and canceled my membership. I hope by now they have done something about the situation. Otherwise, Gold's Gym will be known as Mold's Gym.

Whole Foods Market is both heaven and hell! Walking in there, being surrounded by "green" and "organic" products, I feel so healthy and good about myself. However, walking out, after purchasing only a few great items at such a high cost, I feel so poor and hard up!! Nonetheless, I think it's still the best place to shop for food and what not. Unfortuneatly though, the customer service at this location is not up to standard.  I remember purchasing Laloo's Goat's Milk Ice Cream, which was not at all favorable. I went back to make the return the next day, but the supervisor did not accept it as it was all melted. How am I supposed to keep the Ice Cream from melting on my way to the store?? This is bad news on a hot summer day for those who shop at Whole Foods Market Redwood City.

What I can comment about this particular SOMA location, is that the staff is remarkable- very friendly and accommodating. One time, I wanted to taste the different brands of dark chocolate. I tried about 5 different kinds and the sales clerk ended up just giving me the rest of the bars. That's wonderful customer service!! Generosity, a lot patience, recommendations, and good conversations.

I recall being very excited to eat at this restaurant as the Wolfgang Puck brand is world renowed. The ambience was lively and colorful although the setting was a bit eccentric. Our waiter was pretty accomodating and made great suggestions. My wonderful date ordered a Cheese Ravioli dish and I ordered the Chicken Pesto Focaccia. The food was delicious. But I recall the portions were rather inadequate. I have no qualms about eating at this restaurant again. Wolfgang Puck is brilliant and so are his creations.

The exterior of this restaurant is not that impressive nor is it even noticeable. It's pretty small and the interior is decorated with a very simple Thai flare. However, the food is outstanding! They served the best Thai food I have ever had!! I ordered Thai Ice Coffee, the Vegetable Yellow Curry, the Japanese Eggplant dish and for dessert, the Fried Banana with Ice Cream. Amazing!! I have yet to try the other dishes at this restaurant, but I am certain the flavor will leave a lasting impression.

I've eaten at this place numerous times. And I just can't seem to get enough!! The taste of all varieties is simply outstanding. I'm not really a big fan of thin crust, but there's just something in the pizzas that are so enticing. There is usually a long line, but the wait is well worth it. The crew are friendly. The restaurant is clean, but small -only a few tables. My only complain is that The Cheeseboard is closed on Mondays and Sundays. Other than that, the pizza is amazing!
