Cute place, but I agree with the previous reviewer: Very limited menu. Especially when they're out of half of it (which I guess is a risk when you show up at 10 p.m., but still). My Alaskan king salmon was good but not life-changing (is salmon ever?), and pretty expensive at $26. Everyone else got serviceable-looking burgers--fries were kinda greasy--except for the lone, suffering vegetarian, who had to make do with a salad and a mac and cheese (they were out of the chile relleno, of course). The waitress was really friendly, though, and they have a good bottle of Gruner Veltliner for $30. But overall, a pretty nonessential dining experience.

This is a decent thrift/consignment shop on a stretch of 7th Avenue rife with samey, overpriced boutiques, so I've gotta give it respect. When I lived in the Slope I never really found that much in the way of clothing at this store, but today's visit proved fruitful. I picked up a pair of suede, fur-lined Michael Kors boots and was able to talk the price down from $85 to $75, and they had a good amount of designer jeans for around $15 (I got a sweet pair of perfectly fitting Isda & Co. bootcuts for $17). Pretty good deals, I'd say. There's a very cute pink Marc Jacobs bangle there that label whores will love: just $18. Go now! I was tempted, but it was too small for my wrist. There is a good amount of purses and jewelry (most of which aren't really that awesome, to me, but will appeal to the hardcore vintage lover), and also your standard thrift-store bric-a-brac. I'll even forgive the owner for being slightly bitchy at my September stoop sale, where she bought a bunch, and then marking up the price of one of my sweaters from $3 to $11. Business, of course. But next time, different prices for shop owners!
