Once in a while, you fall in love with a restaurant before your food arrives. You think, even if I eat crap-ola here - I love this place.
I got that warm, fuzzy feeling even before the water arrived.
First, sit outside and entertain yourself watching small dogs wandering up and down the street, or their owners for that matter.
Our waiter happened to be perfect. Now, I know perfection is hard to come by in the restaurant world but he was - without mentioning any names....
I loved the fact he stopped by our table to reconfirm our food order after it was sent to the kitchen. Without the menu he made us recite what we ordered - and said - if you can't pronounce it - we can't serve it...
Just a great, friendly place - I think it's safe to say they treat you like family. Very tasty too.

An absolute trio of perfection. Stunning water views, stellar food plus all-star service. Snugly tucked into Pier 39, walking through these doors firmly transports you away from the tourist set on the outside.
It's the crown jewel which outshines them all.
Fish = fabulous. View = staggering. Service = extraordinary.
It's all key to a fantastic dining experience. If you find yourself in San Francisco, lose your self in this wonderful restaurant. I did and absolutely loved it.

That's how this relationship is. I am so comfortable with this place that I brought my parents to celebrate a recent birthday.
Outside on the patio - beautiful evening, pleasant server, what else could you want? Gazing out on the river - there is no other experience you could ask for in mid-week dining.
I love places that deliver and this place does just that. Delivering is not just important - it is everything. Let just say I was very happy and the food was excellent.
The patio offers a pub menu that is perfect pricing for that mid-week excursion. Love it.

Hello World. I am the bistro / restaurant / pub who has everything. I mean everything. Who cares that it's a little off the beaten path? Who doesn't love ''off the beaten path''? Who cares that I may need to drive an extra fifteen minutes to arrive? Not me.
Arrival means: Fantastic view. Outside dining adjacent to the Delaware River. A menu that your utterly adorable, fantastic bartender is happy to give you. Thank you.
May I say also, a bartender who knows how to make a Dark and Stormy...a really good one and who says "Thanks for Ordering it"! I love it.

I become a fan only after multiple fantastic experiences. And I can report that's what I've had at this place. I always take out because it is a straight line from the Thursday evening gym workout to home and the timing is perfect.
I stumbled onto their Brooklyn Pizza by accident. It was all sitting there and I was waiting and eyeing it up with the -- what is that? I didn't even know what Brooklyn Pizza was but this stuff is the best.
I've tried on many occasions to NOT eat the entire pizza in one sitting but so far I've failed miserably. Love, love, love the Brooklyn Pizza.

Do beware of servers, bartenders or what-not who do not have the fortitude to WRITE THINGS DOWN.
A single word of advice to servers everywhere - write it down and it gets to the kitchen right. This guy with his eyes in the (tv)sky for his customers GOT IT ALL WRONG.
It is pretty tough to screw up a very basic request - oh yea - unless, you have better things to do - like nothing.
Bad food, terrible service and zero else to offer anyone looking for a dining experience. My advice? STAY AWAY.

Seeking consistency? Decent food and good service? After half a dozen trips to this tavern I can say that they are able to deliver all of these. I've chosen this adorable bar for the warm ambiance, great bartenders, and attentive service. I've gone early and gone late and they can handle it.
Early (6-7 pm) is nice and comfortable, cozy bar area and tons of attention. Bartenders are fun and chatty and can fill you in on the local news if you want. Or banter about just about anything. As the crowd filters in, which it will, especially weekends -- the place gets busy but you will not suffer.
But the chatty bar guys are now working hard so say goodbye. Fun spot and a diverse, interesting crowd.

This is a chocolate-covered peanut of a shop - but not to be underestimated. All the chocolates are handmade on-site and it is a battle of will power to depart the premises without purchasing one of everything. They are miniature masterpieces. Each resembles a work of art and are absolutely decadent.
Cashews and almonds look as if they are individually draped in blankets of dark chocolate. Turtles so elegant they almost need names to introduce them. Pierre's creates magic with chocolate. Simply the best chocolate in the universe.

First notable to love about this restaurant is its name. It elucidates how to enjoy and appreciate this cozy, elegant bistro. Just Eat! The charm is apparent immediately. Chef owner Marc is masterful at cooking in his open kitchen with the hardwood, charcoal-burning grill.
