It was fairly crowded but we managed to get the last booth available. Our server was really friendly, as was the bus gal, who attentively refilled our coffee and water.
I ordered biscuits and mushroom gravy, which comes with two eggs (I got them scrambled) and potatoes. My boyfriend ordered eggs benedict, which comes with potatoes also, with garden sausage.
DAAAMMMNN that was some tasty grub. I basically licked my plate clean (OK, not basically, I did). Everything was perfect- amazing gravy, delicious biscuits, well-seasoned potatoes and flawless eggs. $8-something was a reasonable price for this dish, especially since I don't think I need to eat anything else today.
My BF's eggs benedict were flawless as well- incredible hollandaise sauce and the best garden sausage I may have ever tasted.
I will definitely return to try the white chocolate chip pancakes and like, everything else that sounded fabulous. Genie's made me wonder why I bother spending time and money elsewhere.

The theater is a really nice classroom with a large screen and comfortable, spacious seats. General admission is $3 with popcorn included!! Other concessions are super cheap.
To give you a sense of the variety of films they show, I saw Godard's Masculin, Féminin here, and just weeks before they played Terminator 2. In a few weeks, I plan on seeing [what is considered the best film of the decade] In the Mood for Love. Keep up the awesome variety and fabulous work, 5th Avenue Cinema!

I don't care how local you are- food, first and foremost, should not ANGER ME. aaaRRRGHH! (No, I do care, I think it's great. The recycling and composting they have going on in there is nice to see, also).
Srsly, the veggie burger isn't that great and the fries are Wendy's status aka not good.
Their lemonade is allegedly some of the best, so I'll have to check that out. Maybe the pumpkin shake, too. But for now, THIS PLACE IS BLACKLISTED.

I sat down, drank my tea and did some work. The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. The Chill station on Sirius was on, which I enjoy, let's not lie (Sirius sucks though if you don't like, own a business. Has anyone ever had it? Total waste!) I got the impression that this isn't really a place to socialize but to get work done or do other quiet activities, which is fine because I have like, two friends and cats who stay indoors.
I was still hungry and decided to get a bagel sandwich. I chose the veggie sandwich on a pesto bagel ($4.50). Pesto bagel?! I have NEVER seen such a thing! And I worked in a bagel place! It was soo good! The bagel comes with cream cheese, cucumbers, sprouts, lettuce and avocado. Yum.
There are so many tea choices, and I have so much work to do, that I must return here immediately!

Whoa. I can't believe a place like this exists in Portland. Long Island, yes. But Portland? Where did these people even come from? Why have I never seen them in daylight? Maybe they're not real.
Keeping up with the theme...Long Island iced teas for $5 on a Saturday. I'll take it. My two friends and I sat down and just watched the clientele in the karaoke section. I am particularly mesmerized by two older, rotund weirdos in sweatpants who are definitely a couple but they're not speaking to one another. The woman gets up to sing Journey. It is fucking awful. She sits down. They still don't speak. OK...
Then, a man next to the DJ booth demanded my attention. He was "playing" a guitar hero guitar along with everyone's songs. He starts to really get into it, dropping to his knees and leaning all the way back, all while "shredding" this "guitar" of his. Wait, WHAT? Again, is this REAL?
When a bro was demanding, in a belligerent fashion, that the entire bar pay attention to his friend who was butchering some 50s song, we decided we didn't want to stick around and see him get punched out. Enough was ENOUGH.
Gypsy is way too much to handle.

With that said, I loved Safeco Field. And if it makes you like me again, it's better than the new Yankee Stadium! Heh heh?
I saw a Mariners vs. Yankees game here (Yankees won, sorry guys). First of all, who knew there would be so many Yankee fans in Seattle? Not I. Second, THE DOME APPEARED! That was amazing! A DOME!
Garlic fries, eh. It was just chopped garlic on top of some seasoned fries. I mean, I ate them in record time, but they were nothing to write home about. I WAS eying that stick of chocolate covered strawberries. Never did get me some, though.
While the food was standard fare, I still enjoyed the design of the stadium and the layout. Thanks for a great evening! Not sure who that was directed towards!

You ever just not understand something's existence? That's how I feel about this place.
I was here for the trivia event a few other reviewers on here are complaining about (yeah, this review has been sitting incomplete in my About Me section). I got a few happy hour items. Mozzarella sticks were clearly the frozen kind and their chips and salsa sucked. As the others said, there was one waitress for over 100 people. Dumb.

I'm not OK with the $6 price tag on the Classic Concert series. For like, an hour of footage of a few Smiths songs, entirely too many early Depeche Mode songs and ONE My Bloody Valentine song (among other bands I'm going to fail to mention), I felt $6 was way too steep. It was just a bunch of clips spliced together...COME ON!
Minus a star for lameeee weekly Repo showings. Just play terrible B movies all the time on the cheap!

What makes this a 4-star place is mostly the coffee. It's always faaantastic! Seriously, kudos on that! The baristas are always really nice, too. Black Sheep Bakery muffins don't hurt, either.
Overall, I'm pretty grateful for this coffeeshop being two blocks away.
