Ladyface Alehouse & Brasserie

This micro brewery is such an interesting place.
The work that has been done on this place since Ladyface moved in has given the restaurant such a great make over.
The patio is gorgeous, especially for a nice warm day in Agoura.
Their beer is so tasty!  Definitely worth a try.

As for the food, I have tried many of the items on the menu and I can only say good things!
The Mac and Cheese with a baked salt and vinegar potato chip crust on top is a roller coaster for your taste buds.
I put up a picture of one of my favorites: their grilled cheese sandwich with a fried egg on top... talk about a dream come true.  .

Fresh ingredients.
Fast service.
Extreme tastiness.
Eco-Friendly.
What more could you want from a restaurant??

I just wish they would open one in the San Fernando Valley.
Preferably on Sherman Way between Topanga and Canoga by Follow Your Heart and all of those thrift stores (just sayin).

My favorite:  The chicken tostada. mmmmmmm!!

Susina Bakery & Cafe

This has got to be one of my favorite LA casual food spots.

Note: I am slightly obsessed with bakeries so this may come off a little biased.

Susina has pastries, tea, breakfast, sandwiches and chocolate... all of my favorite things.  This is a great place to grab a cup of tea or coffee, have lunch/brunch, or to grab a pick me up pastry or cookie.

The decor alone is enough to make you want to spend all day there.
Their menu includes sandwiches and breakfast items that each have their own unique taste (i.e. Brie and Pear panini).

Their impressive glass case includes my weakness: mini blueberry tarts.  I ALWAYS get one whenever I go, and it's always the best decision.

This restaurant is in such a fun and active area on Beverly just west of La Brea.  On a nice day you can sit at their sidewalk tables and people watch (or even bring your doggie).

I have been going here for years and I must say, I have never been disappointed.  I have only had my eyebrows threaded here, but I would trust Hema and her staff with any of the procedures they offer.

Very very very kind, patient and  friendly people work in this home studio.
I've recommended Hemangini to many of my friends who have wanted to try getting their eyebrows threaded and most of them are returning customers.

I can't imagine someone having a bad experience here... they are fast, painless and the services are offered at fair prices.

Make sure you tip them well!  :)

Dan's Super Subs

There is literally a sandwich for everyone at Dan's Super Subs.
This place has been around for a long time, and they know a thing or two about the art of sandwich making.

It is a small space for how popular it is, but they make it work.
They made a deal with the Shell gas station down the street to allow their customers to park there since their parking lot is so small.

This is not only a delicious restaurant, but a very smart business.
They care about their reputation with the community as well as the happiness of their customers, which cannot be said about a lot of restaurants in the area.

The sandwiches on their giant menu do not disappoint, just make sure to order it the way you want it.  The sandwiches typically come with "the works" which may have ingredients that people are particular about.
So don't complain if you don't order it right.   :)

Nicola's Kitchen

If you're in the valley and looking for a delicious, family-friendly Italian restaurant, this is the place for you.  It is a family owned restaurant with a classic Italian menu.

You can't say anything bad about this place... it's on Ventura Blvd (the most happening street in the valley), located in the quaintly beautiful French Quarter, it has indoor and outdoor seating, delicious food and very friendly staff.

The last time I was here our server helped each of us customize our orders to be cost-efficient while still getting everything we wanted.  She didn't have to go out of her way to help us out, but she did, which is what makes Nicolas so special.

Hot Wings Cafe

This is my jam right here.  Beer (including Red Stripe, my fav), DELICIOUS WINGS, Curly Fries and a Laker game are all I need to make me happy.  Luckily all of these things are at Hot Wings Cafe.  It's a small restaurant, but it's always a positive crowd.  You can't be unhappy with a heaping pile of hot wings in front of you.

Service is fast and friendly.  The servers there work their asses off and make sure you are well taken care of.  They've always got your back with extra napkins, hot sauce, sides of ranch, refills and wet naps.  Because it is a smaller restaurant they are able to take good care of each table and they are always close by if you run out of ranch.

Basically, it's amazing.  It's literally around the corner from Pink's Hot Dogs, so if you don't feel like standing in a line for an hour for a hot dog, walk over to Hot Wings Cafe and have an ice cold beer instead!

Me - "Where do you want to eat today?"
Any one of my friends - "I'm not sure."
Ten Minutes Later
Me - "Melody's?"
Any one of my friends - "You know I will never say no to Melody's!"

Typical story of my life.  Whenever we don't know where to eat we always go to Melody's Mexican Kitchen.  I'm even the mayor on foursquare!

Hands down this place has the best Mexican food in the San Fernando Valley.  Their nachos, tacos, tamales, tostada salads, tortas, burritos, horchata, flan and basically everything on the menu are always a crowd pleaser.   They even have beer!   Their food is simple, well-made with fresh ingredients and oozing with deliciousness.

I bring dates, family and friends here.  Melody's is the ultimate wing man.

***Update 9/16/2011***
I, unfortunately have been ousted as the mayor of Melody's on Foursquare.
