The place is just ok.

The wine is priced decently and there's a large selection. The flights are nice too.

The food is bad. I don't think they have a full kitchen...a fryer, a foreman grill and a hotplate.

The Crab Cake tasted like it came out a Costco freezer. The Artichoke & Red Pepper Brie was also just ok the bread that came with it was overly soaked in butter.

There's so many other fabulous options in the Gaslamp, I probably wouldn't go back again.

This gym is attempting to smooth over the situation with the ex-LAVA members.

I was told that they would honor my prepaid membership thru March 2012 if I committed to an additional year. I DON'T THINK SO.

Gold's is only a small step up from 24hr Fitness. The place is run down and feels filthy.

They closed their Pt. Loma & Grossmont locations with no notice and refuse a refund for the year I prepaid...$900

This "Boxing Club" gym is now claiming to have no affiliation with the Pt. Loma Lava...even though my membership is still good at this location in La Jolla. And as I type this Yelp is suggesting a LAVA photo for this business.

The manager Salam told me "Well, I don't wanna say you're shit out of luck, but..." and then he continued  "You wouldn't buy something at Von's and try to return it at Albertsons"

What a Joke and piss-poor customer service!
