I'm really happy these guys are back. Their social networking efforts won me over, as I previously, rarely ever ate pizza, I do now to support the business and community.

So happy they opened just down the street from me. Much better alternative then any fast food. Though seating is limited, the dinning room is bright and clean (little too bright, but no biggy). The staff is very friendly every time I visit. I try not to get the fries, but the spicy ketchup to dip the fries into is amazing (forget the exact name off hand). Definitely stop by sometime, vegetarian or not!

Had the Great Lakes Whitefish, warm shrimp 'panzanella' of fennel, red Fresno peppers and sourdough croutons with Pimenton- almond romesco. Best fish I've had because it was hot and spicy... finally hot and spicy fish :) (I never eat fish)

Will return, but Groupon definitely helped.

Finally stopped by this place after accidentally walking past it for years now! I suppose I thought it was just another bar/greasy food type of restaurant and never gave it a fair chance. Like the name would have rang a bell you would think! Nevertheless, a friend suggested checking it out yesterday and so we did just that... to have just what the name is... crepes!

When I walked in, I was surprised to find out that there was a whole back section. In addition to that, a whole back outdoors section which was completely filled up by people. No one was sitting in the front, which gave the illusion that I was first to arrive.

We sat inside, in the back and I ordered a coffee because I knew I wanted a sweet crepe. We were concerned about how filling the sweet crepes where compared to the vegetable/meat crepes, as we both had a sweet tooth. Luckily, after asking the waitress, a few were guaranteed to fill. I ordered the Banana Sara, as I had the gut feeling that the bananas and ice creme would do the drink. Needless to say it did. There was always bread to reach to in the event that you were still not full. The crepe was very delicious and yummy with no complaints :)

So, this is one of those places that you should definitely stop by sometime. I didn't get the, "I can't wait to come back" feeling like I did with Orange just down the street... but I know I will be back again, nonchalantly, some other day with friends and have just as an enjoyable time!

I'm still full as I write this, so I must be somewhat happy!

My roommate had a gift certificate and I was lucky that he took me with him tonight on his birthday. I've been wanting to eat hear since it opened.

Being that it was a Friday night and did not make reservations, it was no surprise that we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait when we got there around 7:15.  Luckily, it was more like 20-25 minutes.

We both had Raspberry Quince tea to drink and the Bruschetta to start with. I ordered the Spaghetti Arrabiata with shrimp, being that I was in the mood for spicy noodles. My roommate had the Tagliata which seemed to be popular with many guests tonight. Both ended up being delicious and the perfect amount to walk out of the restaurant with in your tummy.

A nice meal for right at $40 for two. Staff was just fine. Everything seemed just about right. Not too much or too little of one thing or another. I'll definitely go again... but with a bottle.

So, after this neighborhood just lost a well liked Italian restaurant (Buca), it is nice that a new one has recently appeared!

I love this place, yet, don't go enough. Big windows, unlimited coffee, sweet treats that are actually good and free wi-fi. What more can you ask for? Yes, that too, great people watching! Perfect for all people. I see people studying for an exam, on first dates, painting and drawing and watching other people. Was it you?

Stella's Diner

The small town diner in a big city feel. The staff take the time to remember your face and greet you as a friend rather then a dollar. That is extremely important to me and hard to find these days. Food is always good and on time. I have to admit that I liked it more before they remodeled and changed the menu a few years ago, but that hasn't stopped me from going or highly recommending this place. I do miss their all day/night breakfast menu, however, if you ask, they will let you order anyways! Sometimes if its slow, they come sit down with you and chat which can be nice or not nice depending on your mood! They mean no harm :)

50/50 I know that is an easy way out, but it's true. I have eaten here quite regularly over the past 8 years and for the most part have had adequate service and food. But, there were a few times that the service was so bad that it killed many of the good experiences. The staff rotation is pretty noticeable, so must not be the best place to work for. That being said some of the waitresses have been over the top nice, while others have been... well might need to check that they have a pulse. Double check your take out. If you get home and notice you didn't get your fries they will scream at you on the phone that you are liar and to come back tomorrow for your fries. I blame the management for this behavior, not the employees.

After 2am, this place is heaven though... you and everyone else is usually too drunk to care how the service and food is... if anything my sympathy is with the staff, not the customers at that time of night :)

I can't help but add this store to Yelp. Yes, its just another, no thrills, generic convenience store. But, what makes these places stick out are the people who work there. Everyone in the area sees these guys almost everyday, so you can't help but think of them. So though the prices are high, which is expected for convenience, I recommend the place because the guys are nice yet can through out some witty and sarcastic comments that makes you want to slap them silly but still wish them a great day :)

I love this place. Been going to it for years and years now and it never fails. Prices have gone up, but the food is always delicious. The chips and salsas that are served before the meals are probably the best that I've ever had. It's always the perfect place to go when you have friends in town. Can get cramped at times, but not so bad that you want to leave. Being that it is small you can have a more personal experience with the people you are with and watch people walk back and forth out their large window doors, which they open in the summer. Highly recommended! Strawberry margaritas are super too... even when they spill all over the white paper on the table tops... which looks like a murder took place :)
