It can get crowded if there are more than, like, 3 people in there, so try to check it out at an "off" time if you can. You'll appreciate it much more, I'm sure.

I love this place. If I had a country house, I'd decorate it entirely in this style - and the antique, peeling-paint armoires they use to display everything in? WOW. I want one in every color. Too bad they don't sell those, too!
Fresh-smelling soaps... cozy PJs and sweeping draperies... sticks and stones and birds' nests filled with miniature eggs... antique keys and fish-shaped plates... A lovely place for the perfect, unique gift.

The atmosphere is a little blah - the warm-colored walls are nice and the gentle music was cheerful, but the place in general is very quiet - yet too brightly-lit to be romantic in its quietness. I wouldn't call this place "cozy" - more utilitarian. I prefer a more bustling, exciting dining experience so I've knocked off one star for vibe. But the sangria, I agree, is great. And I will definitely be ordering soup to-go in the future!

Not many vegan/vegetarian options, but the vegan stew I had was scrumptious, coconut-curry veggies... The fried okra was awesome, too!
My boyfriend loved the famous fried chicken.
Delicious beers on tap, and I had a wonderful Malbec!
But aside from the food - we loved the atmosphere - the crowd was buzzing, humming along, in the tiny, cozy space... Music playing, the totally perfect vibrant-yet-chill, comfort zone. Plus, we can walk there (definite bonus)!
My first visit made this place instantly one of my favorite spots in the city. Loved every bit of it.

* The virgin margarita is excellent! It tastes just like a real margarita, no kidding - which is great for those times when you really want a real one but you really probably shouldn't have one...
* I AM I AM - a super-delicious dessert made of vegan chocolate "ice cream" and two chewy, nutty cookies. The raw vegan equivalent of an It's It ice cream sandwich.
Friendly vibe, healthy food... the atmosphere and the ordering style (I am amazing!) WILL be too much for some people, but if you're feeling groovy, check it out.
Oh, also - on the pricey side. Watch out.
