Yea I go here from time to time and don't get me wrong, it is a decent place.  It's just that there's something unsettling about the way their falafel is made.

First they have to put your falafel/hummus then you are somehow supposed to put the rest of the ingredients of your choice.  Well I could never get mine to work!

There's like little room left in my sandwich and it's very hard to get that balanced taste since you can't really mix things up (your falafel/hummus basically sink in the bottom, vegetables float/overflow on top, I don't even know what to do with the sauce).

Falafel FAIL.  Ok fine, maybe it's just my bad falafel making skills but honest: I'd rather have someone or myself making the sandwich start to finish so that ingredients can be better arranged.  Just saying.

Great falafel here, very satisfying!  Portions are big, lots of good stuff inside one of the best pita breads I can think of.  Make sure you ask for some hot sauce stuff - Mmm good.  Little bit pricier than your typical falafel stand but it's worth the price in my opinion.

Come to think of it, maybe the portions were too big... that's why I stopped going there for a while I think.  Definitely try this or other CRISP locations if you haven't, they make good stuff.

One of my favorite places.  I love the new interior, so much more space (or at least feels like it).  This place has everything including beer/wine/soju, and the food is actually pretty authentic Korean.  There's hot buffet, there's kitchen, there's plenty of prepared items, so many choices it's crazy!  I don't think I ever spent more than $10 here, and I never leave this place hungry.

They're practically always open, day and night.  There's always good amount of traffic, which is a good thing for a place like this because it keeps everything rotate constantly - means all items go fast and makes room for new fresh items.  So go nuts, indulge yourself, do whatever you need to do - you're in K-Town my friend.

I love places like this.  You can basically walk in any day, see what they have, sit down, and be happy.  Everything I tried was nice, good juices too.  It's really cozy in there - I like the lighting inside, good music on, bar/cafe like setting but without the pretentiousness.

Love the ladies there as well.  One lady doesn't speak much English but they are always so nice and friendly.  I usually go there when I'm really tired after a long day and I need a comfort meal before heading home - this place always does the trick.

The only thing is that I always eat too much and end up feeling bad.  Good thing they like empty plates - makes me feel less guilty.  If you are in Hell's Kitchen and need an honest cozy place where you can have a good meal for less than $10, then this is your stop.

Three stars for dirt cheap price.  Falafel is A-OK, it's rather small and shy.  More like a snack, not really a meal kind of deal.  If you're in the neighborhood and need a quick bite for less than $5 this is the place, but nothing spectacular.

Pretty good falafel.  Fresh and tasty.  Service is a bit slow and the place is really tiny.  Not really a eat in place, better for take out or you can eat on the street.

I love falafel so it doesn't take much to love any place that makes falafel sandwich, but I really love the falafel sandwich here - it isn't too big or too filling. It's nicely stuffed with so many ingredients, resulting in so much wonderful flavor.

I can understand some folks complaining about the squashed falafel. I like crunch fluffy falafel too, but in many places they tend to take up too much space and make it hard to eat if you don't have a plate and a fork.  Azuri's falafel works and makes sense.  I think it allows more room for all the exciting ingredients by having the falafel squashed.

I still don't even know the names of half the ingredients that go into my falafel, but boy they are tasty. I really enjoy this place.

Oh yea and I don't know what the deal is with people complaining about the owner. Every time I go there, he's like the nicest guy I get to meet that day. He usually starts the conversation, I don't have to tease him or anything like some other folks suggested.

Maybe it's because I usually go there when it's not too busy. Regardless, the owner is pretty easy to talk to and open minded in my opinion. Like today, we talked about everything from photography to playing guitar.

Another one of those places that can be easily missed or misunderstood, but to me this place stands out as a winner.

ZOMG I should kick my own ass for writing this because I don't want anyone else to find out about this place... but I guess I'm already too late for that ha.

I tried Kobe beef skewers, yellowtail collar, Sapporo draft, all under $20 including tax/tip.  All really really good, and the price was not bad considering that this is Times Square after all.  I sat at the bar amongst some middle-aged gentlemen - they left regretting that they didn't get to try the yellowtail after seeing mine but at the same time cursing out of joy that their bill was so ridiculously f'ing cheap.

On the other side and outside by the staircase were a bunch of college students.  There were old, young, men, women, students, businessmen - nice mix of everyday life all jam-packed into such a tiny space.  So many stories, no real boundaries - gotta love this kind of atmosphere.

Just pretend that you never read this, and try not to bring too many people there ok?  Thxbai.

Stumbled upon this place, it sort of appeared out of nowhere. It is sort of in the middle of nowhere (north end of Hell's Kitchen). Can easily be missed from outside, but I noticed that it was packed inside. Figured it's probably a private party but it wasn't, so decided to check it out.

It's a nice place: the crowd was not too hip, not too rowdy, nice mix of young and old, ladies and gentlemen.  They do have TV's but only one of them was on, and the music was kept at a reasonable volume.  Lots of people chatting, lively atmosphere.  It's not exactly a sports bar, not exactly a pub, just something a little bit different.

What really stands out here is the menu board above the bar: features 20 craft (I guess that's what we call them) beers. Many of them seemed to be local brews and there were handful of 6+% alcohol ones which I just had to try (some of the stronger ones are served in 8 oz glasses).  I tried a couple of the strongest ones they had: delightful, easy and surprisingly smooth.  But oh yea, they are pretty strong, so careful not to let the taste fool you: drink slowly. Not sure if there's anything else but all the featured beers were $5 a glass, not bad at all. Learning from other reviews now that they rotate the menu and there are more than a hundred varieties?

Oh jeez this is trouble... I take the bus to commute (from PABT) which isn't too far away and this place is going to be so tempting every night. Someone please help me.....

I've never even heard of watermelon soju before but it turned out to be a pretty fun drink. Like fruit punch indeed but with soju. I agree with others that adding more soju to it may make it more exciting... It didn't get me drunk at all (maybe this is not a good sign, for me).

Plenty of typical pojangmacha items on the menu. I had spicy octopus, grilled chicken, seafood pancake, and some tofu. They were all nice, and the portions were huge - all plenty enough for sharing among three to four people. The casseroles (budaejjigae) looked promising but unfortunately I didn't have any room left in belly. They also had snails, chicken feet, chicken's behind (hehe) and bundaegi!!

It's sort of a pojangmacha like atmosphere in there. Interior is decorated with green nets, soju bottle caps, and Christmas tree lights. Sounds funny but it's actually quite cozy in there. This is not a bar, it is a pojangmacha so there's no standing room. There are just about right amount of tables and right size as well - each table seats about three to four people. It's a nice place you go with someone comfortable for a nice sit down and talk over some drinks and food. The music could be turned down a little, but it was not too bad. Nothing like one of those lousy midtown bars where it is impossible to talk unless you scream, in this place you can actually have conversations. They usually have a small staff, and the service can be a bit slow sometimes though.

Average price for many items were a bit pricey for pojangmacha, but then again this is in Manhattan and not on the street either haha. There is a $9.99 menu page and it has plenty of items if you are budget conscious. If you share what you eat and what you pay, then per person cost shouldn't be so bad. Yea I'll come back to this place once in a while with no objection.
