Now that I really depend on this train, the rate at which it simply doesn't show up or is at a minimum the most overcrowded and least frequently appearing train, or gets stuck in an f'ing tunnel for 45 minutes on a Friday evening is absolutely unacceptable. Can't we all just pay $5 more for our passes and get some more trains running? Seriously, it's not worth my time.

And sadly, the 71 and 6 don't do much good unless it's the wee hours, because between the patrons and the multitude of stops I almost always am forced to get off mid-way and have a glass of wine at UVA in order to bare the rest of the trip.

Some guy with crappy jeans painstakingly detailed with SPARKLY PUFF PAINT tonight inspired me to write this review. i should note that he had a horrendously pathetic belt buckle that was somehow trying really hard to be actual cowboy instead of just cowboy mockery. He also had matching sparkly pink boots, but I was actually moderately jealous of those.

I love you N Judah. Even though you don't come as often as I'd like, I've never run into a ticket checker and you drop me 1.5 blocks from where I want to be most of the time. XXOO.

This 5 stars is soley for the man who sings the blues and asks me on dates every time I pass through here. He's clean enough and talented enough that it isn't so much creepy as disappointing--I'd absolutely pay to see him sing a concert in a more comfortable venue. Can somebody give this guy a gig?

otherwise, my list of complaints would be:
-obnoxious station-wide advertising which I cannot help but imagine crumpled up in a landfill only weeks from them, with minimal advertising response
-stupid zagat ads--who the heck uses zagat? even my computer-challenged mom prefers Yelp
-lack of trash cans
-non-main gate doesn't allow cash ticket purchase during certain hours, often forcing us to miss our train by walking further up

It's beautifully designed but in a constant state of maintenance. If there aren't window cleaners on the Jewish Contemporary Museum, they're repairing cracked and seemingly ill-designed pads of concrete. Or, the shallow (but beautiful) pools of water are out of commission.

But what irks me most is that it seems to be inexplicably a place for smokers to gather and force others to smell their habit. I haven't once walked through here in the early morning and not had to inhale at least two or three smokers dirty morning fix.

Isn't there a law or something about smoking near public buildings in San Francisco? Does this mean I need to write a review of Mr. Newsom now?

Personally, a great year.
Politically, a promising year.

Between the party hard start, the unemployment, the most amazing man, the romantic trip to Paris, the reemployment, the friends, the family changes, the fashions and the happiness--we'll override the economics, the politics and the dull moments, of which there were few. If 2009 is on par, I'll be having a pretty amazing life.

It's consistent. Because it's a rock.

Sometimes there are creepy people here (-1 star) but mostly, it's a good spot to relax and gain some perspective in life.

Plus any amazing happenings in the sky (lunar eclipse, star shower) look amazing from here and it's less risky to get here than up to inspiration point in the pitch dark!

i love living in san francisco.
