Thanks Yelpers! Based on the other reviews, I just found a promising local Chinese delivery joint.
The lemon chicken is great. This is the first time I've seen lemon chicken delivered with the sauce on the side. It keeps it from getting soggy and allows you to notice the light, flaky batter on tender chicken breasts. The fried rice was pretty good, not very greasy, which is how I like it. And the chicken won ton soup was good too, comparable to when I get real Chinese food with the Chinese side of the family.
The price was pretty inexpensive, the left-overs look like they will last quite a while, and the delivery guy was personable and super fast (of course, I live about six minutes away, but you could tell they didn't waste time).

I met some friends at the bar last night and we had a good ol' time. I didn't eat anything, so that's not what this review is about.
Strictly based on our experience at the bar, I thought the place was great. It is a pseudo-warehouse setting with over-sized art and all kinds of interesting decor. Combined with the DJ and light projector, it made for a fun ambiance. The music was upbeat but not intensely so, there was a wide selection of liquors and wines with a couple of unique beers on tap, and the bartender and patrons were very nice.
I almost 3-starred this review because the drinks were a bit pricey (as if you are clubbin' or something), but I left feeling like this is one of the better bars/places in Oakland when looking for this type of atmosphere, so 4 stars it is.

Awesome shirts. I can't resist the Oakland gear, so finding their shirt with the AT-AT (Star Wars) being dreamed up by a container freight crane was a must have. (Sidenote: Rumor has it that George Lucas was inspired by the cranes at the Port of Oakland). The AT-AT shirt was what got us in the booth, but their other hilarious and unique shirts are fantastic too. Definitely visit their website, its worth it.
Enssarro certainly lived up to the high reviews from the other yelpers. My wife and I ordered the lamb tibs and the veggie combo, which comes on one big platter with unlimited injera. It was more than enough food for the two of us, but it was so good that I couldn't stop eating. The verdict from a pair of pseudo food snobs was that the meal was fantastic.
The decor isn't lavish by any means, but the family that runs the restaurant was extremely friendly, making for a very comfortable atmosphere. We had our baby daughter with us sitting on the table in her little chair and they were very welcoming to her (the cook even came out of the kitchen to say hello). If we didn't have the baby with us, I'd say it was a fairly intimate experience given the dim lighting and the shared platter.
Overall, it was one of the best meals I've had in quite a long time. The food was remarkably good and I will definitely be going back.

Laptop, sandwich, and cappuccino is my usual formula. Other than being a tad pricey, I think it's fantastic on all accounts.
The cap had great flavor (blue bottle coffee) and texture. The sandwich had quality ingredients (fresh bread and a good strong cheddar). And this is a great laptop spot with its excellent natural light, open atmosphere, and mellow/quiet vibe.
I'll definitely be back.
