I love going here for their iced coffee. The ice cubes are made with coffee so there's not watering down and their flavors are delicious. Everyone is always very friendly as well.
I just got back from my second trip to Davis Jack's. I had the "Jacked" Steak and Cheese the first time and am currently enjoying the Big Boy (a large north shore roast beef sandwich). The place is not that bad .... good enough to go twice in one week. It's also smack dab in the middle of downtown Amesbury.

I ordered a chicken finger dinner with a salad, fries and garlic bread with honey mustard.
Instead I received a half assed chicken WING dinner with NO salad and no honey mustard. The wings were pretty good but the fries tasted like they had been microwaved.
Not the best first experience.

1:15 AM and im cold and hungry.... or just hungry, i go to Joe's. If you can't find it, it's the one with the OPEN sign. If that doesn't help then the name Joe's is written in concrete on the ground as you walk in. You'll know it when you see it but I love the place.
The pizza is great and the people that work there are very nice. Just no sudden movements and don't order the medium with double extra cheese sauce.
But all in all I've got a lot of fond memories eating at this dump and hopefully many more to come.

I am a big fan of Dunkin Donuts however this place lowers the bar. There is a better Dunks right around the corner near the Cummings Center that is 10 times better.
I live across the street from this Dunks so it's convenient for anyone hanging out on Cabot St. However the environment is nasty and they have yet to get my order correct. One time there was a cigarette butt next to the straws and sugar as well as gum on the floor.
Just take it from me and go to any other Dunkin Donuts in Beverly or hit up any of the coffee shops on Cabot St.

Agreeing with the rest of the crowd, this is a local joint. I went back there the other night for some dinner and I did enjoy my seafood platter. The prices aren't so bad, even though they charge for soda refills.
But its location is really good, right on the main strip along the water across from that new place, latitude 41. The service is very friendly and sports games are always on.

I saw my second show there the other night and it reminded me how much i do love the place. The drinks are a little pricey but not as bad as some other places I've been. It's the lines for the drinks that got to me. It took me 20 minutes to get my first drink. The seating fills up fast too so you'd have to be there pretty early to get a table but if you do score one it'll both save you the drink wait and you can use a card to pay (no cards at the bar and the ATM is out back).
My favorite part about the venue is the way it is situated. A long room with a stage in the middle so you feel like your close to the stage no matter where you stand.
If your staying late then there is plenty of lodging available in the area as well as bars for a little afterdrink.

Charlies is where all the cool people hang out, or maybe its just the people who don't want to have to walk all the way down north pleasant. Regardless, its a great place to play some pool, watch a sports game, and accidentally elbow the person next to you.
On occasion you can join in on a beirut tourney and they do random other fun promotions throughout the school year.

My favorite thing about this place is their fast. They do these specials that are really cheap, under 5 bucks, and you get a pile of pork fried rice with two sides, and its usually ready in about a minute.
They have two flat screen TVs that are always on and seating by a rather large windows overlooking the intersection.

Busy Bee has very friendly service and a rather large menu. The busy bee club is a favorite of mine with just about everything you can put on a sandwich with some fries and a salad. Me and my coworkers have also been known to enjoy some of their subs, pizzas and salads.
I guess my favorite part about the place is the service. Great people work there.
