The pricing and selection seems competitive to other liquor stores I've visited in Boston.  However, in terms of customer service, I was very let down; the two employees I encountered seemed to be full of misinformation and not very observant.

Previously, I had only browsed or bought a quick six pack, but last time I went in I wanted to explore something new.  I asked an employee about some beers and he seemed, surprisingly, very knowledgeable. Then I get home and expect the labels a little closer and find out he was flat out wrong about somethings.  Him and another guy also went on and on about how bad and syrupy the lambic was that I was purchasing.  They said I should get one with fresh fruit, so on and so forth.  I had previously tried the brand and never found it to be syrupy or super sweet or anything they were saying.  I found it very off-putting that they were making me feel bad about my choice while I was paying.  Turns out the brand uses FRESH fruit.  Once again wrong.  They also rung up something twice and I had to go back for a refund.  My advice is to ignore the employees and check our receipt!

I really like Noodle Street.  It is not my favorite Thai restaurant, but it will do in a fix.  The street theme is adorable and so is the one waitress I always seem to get.  I enjoy their pad thai, pad thai zzzz, and ns soup.  Everything I see other people order always looks very good.  They give very big portions and are pretty cheap.  What's not to like?

The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.  They did not give me any attitude about installing new brake cables and pads on an old kmart children's bike from the 90's, which I appreciate because I know it was a piece of junk to begin with.  I always thought this place was expensive, and for some things it is more expensive than other shops, but for other things it is reasonably priced.  I have since purchased a folding bicycle from them and have been happy with my purchase.  They have always been very friendly and helpful when I have had issues with the bike (loose hinges, loose cables, etc.).

I feel bad giving a local bike shop a bad review.  Their website claims that they sell folding bikes, so I stopped in while I was looking to buy a folding bike.  They did not have any in stock and did not think they were getting any more in the future.  It may be all in my head but the atmosphere is not very inviting.  I think I have walked in and stood waiting to be helped by someone, only to stand there for 5 minutes twiddling my thumbs.  Their sister store "Boston Bikes", which as since closed, had a more friendly atmosphere.

Does UBurger have the best tasting burger in the world? Probably not.  

Does UBurger have an inexpensive burger that is rather tasty? Yes.

UBurger is my favorite place in Boston to get a quick burger.  Their chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, and frappes are equally as good.  

The only reasons why UBurger loses a star is because the burgers cannot be cooked to a certain wellness (I prefer medium) and I always end up smelling like UBurger after eating there (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

A bus is a bus is a bus.  Most of the Boston to NYC buses are about the same.  What I really like about megabus, however, is the double-decker buses.  I like the view from the top level; it makes the trip a little bit more interesting.  Between my boyfriend and I we have taken the megabus several time and have not had any "mega" issues other than the normal bus issues (traffic, loud annoying people, etc).  

Although on our last trip the driver was a little bit crazy on the road and ended up being pulled over by the CT state police (!!!), I would still recommend megabus.  It's a cheap alternative to the train and it takes an eternity to get to NYC, but you get what you pay for.

BerryLine gets a star for their interior decorating.  However, their yogurt is a tad too tart for some people.  Their portions are also very small and rather pricey.  I was excited by a lot of their exotic flavors, but it turns out most of them taste about the same.  Lychee? Raspberry? Passion fruit?  It all sort of tastes the same.

boYO's froyo is delicious.  it is very creamy, not super sour, and the sizes they give you are pretty large compared to other froyo places.  I hope they bring back the pumpkin or banana flavors!  Those were two of my favorites!

Enough with the dark chocolate and peanut butter!! I walk past almost every day hoping there will be something different, but those two keep showing up.

My original plans for a sublet fell through, so I was stuck looking for an apartment last minute.  It was already May and I needed a place by May 18th.  After several unsuccessful attempts at finding an apartment available immediately, including some real estate agents that were very rude and unhelpful, I found Charlesgate Realty Group.  I worked with Tanner Fogerty and would recommend him.  He was able to find me a decently priced studio apartment in Beacon Hill for June 1st.

I have been craving falafel for a while and I saw this place had very good reviews on yelp, so I decided to give it a try.  I agree that the location of this restaurant is unfortunate (it had a rather sour gross smell when I walked in).  The guys were so friendly at the Falafel King though so I decided to give it a try despite my instincts telling me to run away from the bad smell.  The falafel is delicious!  I have since been back a couple times and it has been delicious every time, except for one day one of my falafel was rather rock hard, which knocks my rating from 4 to 3 stars.
