Every time I eat here the place exceeds my expectations.  The decor and atmosphere in Bryant Park is indeed unmatched.  I had the Manhattan Clam Chowder, and the Fish and Chips today for lunch.  The portions were modest, but the quality of the food was first rate.  I cannot wait for my next meal.

I usually hate these Asian Fusion type places but I really enjoy the convenience of this place.  The baos are outstanding--I prefer the pork baos, but the spicy Mongolian Beef and the Kung Pao chicken are also great.  The Kung Pao Chicken bowl's are great on a cold Chicago day.  It has a decent kick to it.

This is one of the world's best comedy clubs.  If you are sensitive, and political correctness is something you will not compromise this is not the place for you.  This show is full of energy and makes some clever comments about our American culture, etc.  Second City is just about entertaining people, and making you laugh--that is why it continues to get high marks.  After a long day they will keep you entertained!

Hoyas in Chicago!  This is what an Italian restaurant should be--a mix of the old country with the new modern twist.  I had the scampi appetizer with mushrooms shrimp, and scallops--truly a wonderful appetizer.  I had the fettucini fra diavolo with the perfect mix of red pepper and spice.  This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to anywhere in some time.  It helped that I was with my Italian Hoya Hoop Club friends!  Hoya Saxa--Our first dinner at Georgetown John Carroll Chicago 2012!  We are Georgetown!

Just when I was longing for a great meal in Texas the Lonesome Dove has delivered the goods.  It is a quaint little restaurant worthy of the Meatpacking District in Fort Worth.  I had their version of a Caesar's salad, and the beef tenderloin--cooked to perfection with asparagus and some Yukon mashed potatoes.  It was indeed a dining experience.  Service was a little slow but very attentive, and the food was well worth the wait.  This is probably the best restaurant I have ever been to in the state of Texas.  It is a place worthy of any foodie.  It would be a great place for a date also.

George Allen would have thrived on this place!  I feel like an East Coast person surrounded by Cowboys!  The calamari appetizer was okay, and I loved the steak tacos.  The menu is very extensive and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.  Dallas Fort Worth seems to have a wealth of restaurants.  I am enjoying my short trip to Texas!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a large selection of both signature drinks and entrees.    I had their "Seven" Drink with cayenne pepper on the rim.  It was wonderful.  I had the Maine Scallops which is a great meal with their white bean soup for an appetizer.  Family style side dishes like mashed potatoes, spinach, and some wonderful appetizers like a crab cake, and antipasti dish are well worth the price!  This is a good place for a special occasion.  The portions are a little larger than i needed but this is Texas!  The pistachio tart is very unusual and tasty also.

Great Italian food in the Meatpacking District around the block from the Old Homestead.  The softshell crab appetizer with shaved asparagus in a mustard sauce is truly a wonderful dish that you must try.  The spaghetti with basil tomato sauce is cooked and presented to perfection.  The bread basket and service makes for a great experience.  This is one of the better Italian restaurants in the city.

This is about as old school as you can get.  The food was okay.  You must like sauce if you come here.  The red sauce is a good deal thicker than I am used to but very tasty!  It is not of the quality of Angelo's or other restaurants in Little Italy.  However, with all of the great pictures on the wall of the Corleone family it makes you feel at home.  The place has seen much better days though.  I would recommend trying one of the other more crowded restaurants on Mulberry Street.

I have warmed up to this place a little.  It does have a very nice decor and is a good place to bring a date.  The food is a little more on the Chinese-American side but they will make other dishes for you.  A larger menu would go a long way towards establishing this place.  They have a great location right outside of the 8th Avenue Penn Station exit.  I like the way Chef Yu does not try to be too cute with spices and garnishes like many of the other local Sichuan restaurants.  I now look forward to my next visit.

An average place that caters to the tourist and working crowd.  Stick with the specials, and traditional dishes like Mongolian beef.  The Young Chow fried rice is not something I would recommend.  This is a large attractive restaurant with dishes on the pricey side.  This is a safe place to go, but I am not planning to return.
