The drinks are weak and not very good but that is my only complaint. Going to the Improv breaks the monotony of just going out drinking and some descent comics roll through the place. You can catch shows Thursday through Sunday, parking is never a problem, and Dave and Buster's is next door.

My tip : Sign up for the e-mail list and receive free tickets to almost every comic that runs through.

Came here on Halloween during the Montrose Pub Crawl and was not disappointed. Reverse happy hour included $1 Sake bottles, $4 Crab puffs and stuffed mushroom, and $3 beers. The service was very accomodating and the place was very clean. Be sure to try the tempura basket! I will definitely be back to try the sushi.

Sushi buffet, Brazillian bbq, and dessert should be better than this for $32. Too many options and nothing was done well. They also do not have a liquor license. The food was so terrible that it got the point of our party trying the weirdest possible combinations of food just to salvage the meal. Think sea squirt and crepes.

New York City style cocktails...taste and price. If Houston is going to be sprawling and diverse, than it is a great to have something out of the norm like Anvil. Meticulously crafted drinks for about $10 a piece. There are over a hundred listed cocktail variations and the bartenders take the time to walk you through your best drink options. Its an older slightly pretentious crowd and parking is a pain; however,I will definitely be back for a relaxing Friday evening.

I enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant and my wife loved her latte and almond croissant. You can buy two croissants and get one free and have everything heated up before you leave. I am going to have to come back for the creme brulee!

Huge amount of space to watch games. The open-air atmosphere is exactly what I love while watching college football games on Saturdays. Drive past Lucky's and go to B.U.S bar across from Minute Maid Park. Drinks are about $6 and not watered down. There is also a hot dog "bar" attached with descent $5 dogs.

Best fajitas I have had in Houston! The beef fajita and sausage parillida for $20 bucks was enough to serve two people. Topped off with a house maragrita you can't do any better!
