All of my tees, dresses and shirts are by him. How lucky am I that we have his store in the city? I dropped in today for a quick lunchtime shop and found not only is the selection is well rounded, but there is a larger variety of styles which surpasses what the department stores carry. I picked up a couple of new black tees to refresh my closet along with a new black dress and black blouse.
The staff was complete superstars in setting up a fitting room, grabbing items in my size and bringing any other items that they thought I would like. Since they are so new, there were a couple of issues with the credit card device not working, but I left my card number and the manager ran my purchase over to my office. What customer service!! Great addition to Grant Street and so close to the office - lucky me!

But one plus is, if you are in the hood needing to change your baby, feed your baby, weigh your baby, or pick up medela products, then this is a good stop for you.
I do like that everything is natural and organic and I don't really mind the pricing, but a little more customer service for a new mom would really go a long way.
We've stayed here on 2 occasions and both have been good. They have suites which are large with all the standard amenities:
kitchen, living room area, bedroom with sink in the room, then the bathroom. They just upgraded to flat screen tv's, which is a plus.
But beyond that, the hotel is clean and basic. The location is pretty good, since you can walk to The Marketplace. This could be a 4 star hotel, but the maid service is painfully slow...unless you are gone for the entire day. Oh yeah, they also include free breakfast and dinner. If you aren't familiar with the area, this would be a plus.
They had a couple of tables of customers, but it wasn't overly busy. The wait staff was chill, but attentive. We ordered up some chili fries along with our burgers and it was perfect. The burgers aren't messy, but still loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and most importantly full of flavor. Big plus in my book, they serve Orange Fanta- score!
Just another restaurant to add to my Bakersfield mix:)

They had brand new spa chairs ($22) and I only know this because the arm rests were still wrapped in plastic, but I was grateful there was a seat available as I walked in.
I love that they use the disposable nail files and buffers. They did a knock out job on my nails and they were skilled with the black nail polish. Their customers seemed to be all regulars and with the mani pedi that I had, I may become a regular too!
The staff is good and consistent. The rooms have remained the same and seem to need a face lift. The restaurant, well...it needs a pick me up. Il Terrazo seemed to be missing something, the menu seemed rather plain and simple (but for the price, should have been more).
The pool area is the best as always. The Mother of Pearl pool wins me over every time. There's nothing better than swimming and looking up at Camelback.
The Phoenician still has a special place in my heart, but maybe it's to try some of the other awesome resorts that Scottsdale has to offer.

You can find me in Scottsdale in July- that's how much I love this place! The Phoenician is one of my favorite places to stay in the whole world or at least on the West Coast. Every time a 3 day weekend rolls around, Labor day, 4th of July, you get the idea- I'm so at the Phoenician.
It goes a little like this:
7am - wake up in my kick ass room and enjoy how huge it is. Then have coffee and take a look at how absolutely beautiful Camelback is.
8am- have huevos rancheros for breakfast- they make great mexican food.
9am- walk over to the mother of pearl pool and grab my chair to layout on until about 1pm and i'm starting to look nice and toasty.
1pm- order steak salad at the pool- absolutely my favorite lunch ever!
2pm- take a shower and then make my way to the spa until about 4pm
4pm- make my room so cold and enjoy the ac and then take a nap:)
6pm- wake up and get ready for dinner
8pm- take a look at camelback and completely enjoy the surroundings and my warm evening.
*A huge plus and probably why I continue to have the same vacation over and over, is everyone on staff is great and happy to help. I've never felt that they are pretentious or rude. And so I keep coming back for my get- away- weekends:)

They also have a full collection of Petit Bateau which I find is essential in dressing any little boy. They carry all the same brands that you would find at Nordstroms or Bloomingdales, but without the hassle of being in Union Square.
The pricing is also about the same as the larger stores, but the staff is completely knowledgeable and helpful in all their brands they carry.
I'm looking forward to going back to see what is new and thank you to the staff for letting me know when new stock is due. Love this place!

I stopped in and found that they carry all the basics for my ever growing baby. A full array of Dr. Browns products, all the Britax car seats, and anything extra you may need (skin care products, stroller accessories and loads of bright toys and books).
Perfect stop if you are in the hood and need to pick up essentials or looking for a gift.

After visiting at least a zillion stores (ok, maybe it was 6 stores, but it seemed like a lot) looking for the right stroller, I was ready to give up! After my workout last weekend, I strolled over to Right Start on a early Saturday morning.
As soon as we started to browse, we were greeted by their friendly staff. I started to ask questions about the strollers, car seats, adapters and all the extras. Within 20 minutes, we had narrowed it down to 2 and it was time for the test: Could I pick it up with one hand from my car? Could I collapse it with just one hand? How easy was it to place the car seat on the frame and remove it? And lastly, does it have a coffee cup holder?
All along, the staff was helpful and extremely knowledgeable about all their products. Of course, they had us sold and feeling confident that we had made the right decision.
I can see the store getting a bit busy as the day goes on, but our drop-in was timed perfectly. We'll be back for many other needed items!

They have a great array of cheeses and lots of Cowgirl Creamery to choose from. Great wines for summertime: Duckhorn sauvignon blanc and at a reasonable price. All the best munchies: Kettle chips, Entenmann's Donuts and Carr's crackers
With Stinson Beach Market, there is no need to drive to Mill Valley. They have everything all under one roof.

I've found the perfect coverall swim outfit for my baby and they had a complete variety of outfits from speedos to the cover everything outfit. Basically he will be covered from the neck down. They carry beanies all year round and which was super helpful for the San Francisco Summer of Fog.
I'm already shopping for our winters in Tahoe and they have everything. Silk underwear for babies! Puffy jackets for babies! And the perfect snow goggles. Once he's big enough, I'll know where to go to get his perfect boarding outfit!
If you are looking for a new swim suit for your child, or the perfect tennis outfit, ski clothes, or baby sunglasses, this is the place to go!
