This place is in a quiet corner, a hidden gem in Chicago Heights.

It's the traditional American fare made fresh, with natural ingredients and tasty flavor combinations. I haven't eaten anything here that I haven't loved.

Took advantage of a Groupon Now deal. $10 for $6.

Ordered the Cajun Salad ($6.95) and a Mindy Jr Burger ($3.95).

Both the portions were decent. The burger was in a bun that was way to big though!

Everything was packaged up nicely and came out quickly. It all tasted fresh. The fries were pretty yummy.

I thought the decor was cute, it was very western-y.

They had a whole tempting array of desserts that I'm going to have to try next time.

I am an avid fan of Groupon and was very excited when Cilantro popped up as one of the deals. An appetizer, (any) two entrees, and a dessert - all for $20! What an awesome deal!

We went at about 8:30 and were seated immediately.

Our waitress was friendly and funny. She was very attentive, our drinks were never empty. She immediately greeted us with a basket of WARM, FRESH chips. (Their chips are awesome). Their salsa is pretty good too, not too spicy.

We ordered guacamole as our appetizer. Creamy, with no overpowering lime or cilantro taste. I could probably have just eaten that with a spoon and have been satisfied.

On to entrees: I ordered the Steak Fajitas ($12.95). Yummy! The steak was seasoned well and I liked the seasoning on the red, green, and yellow peppers. The portion was massive (easily three meals for me). It came with beans and rice.

The bf ordered the Carne' Con Rajas ($12.95) and (painstakingly) let me try some. The steak was so tender it melted in your mouth and it was covered with yummy, creamy cheese.

We were both stuffed when the waitress came out to ask us what we wanted for dessert. (As it was included with the Croupon!) We chose the Chocolate Tres Leche Cake ($3.95). It was so so so yummy!

Very impressed with the whole meal.

I've been there a few times before and everything else that I've ordered before (burritos, nachos, quesadillas) have all been good and standard fare. The chips and salsa alone are worth the trip!

P.S. Their margaritas are AMAZING.

There are so many options!

Panini's, burgers, tuna melt, a vast array of different (pasta) salads. There's even meatloaf.

I chose the make-your-own salad bar.

You choose your base salad, and then all the add-ins (such as mushrooms, shrimp, chicken, salmon, squash, and all the standard salad fair). They mix it up for you.

It was yummy, and not too expensive ($4.50 per half lb). All of the other prices in the other sections seemed fair.

I cannot say enough nice things about this place.

So I'll break it down:

The decor is fantastic, and everything is beautiful and clean. (Bathrooms are clean, which is always a plus).

Staff is friendly, and accommodating.

Full sushi menu, as well as a full Thai menu.

Lunch specials (M-F 11am-3pm) I cannot say enough about how AWESOME their lunch specials are: Choose from a selection of rolls (2 for 8.95, 3 for $12.95) plus you get a salad. Or you can choose from a variety of their entrees (ranging from$ 6.95-$12.95) and you'll get a large portion and a Thai Roll, plus either soup or salad. They also have to-go lunch box specials, but I didn't really take a close look. I'll definitely consider to-go in the future though.

I had the orange chicken ($8.95) and it was great, had enough leftovers for another full meal.

The rest of my table had:

The Pad Thai (with Tofu $8.95), two roll combo (California Roll and Spicy Tuna $8.95) and another two roll combo (Spicy Salmon and Shrimp Tempura $8.95).

Everyone was full and happy, everything came out great, and nicely presented. The dressing on the salad (homemade) was unique and I wish they sold it by the bottle!

I think it's definitely a good value for the price. I will be back for lunch again soon.

Looking at the menu dinner would be a little bit pricer, probably around $11-$20 (not including drinks or tip).

They also have a full bar. (Always bonus points in my book!)

Went there for dinner, around 7:30 on a saturday night.

The place was basically empty, only three elderly couples seated throughout the joint. Most of the staff was sitting at the bar area eating, and attending to guests in-between bites. Kind of unprofessional...

Our waitress was attentive, but didn't seem happy. Probably because business was so slow.

Got the nightly special which was: A spicy burger(fried egg, bacon, jalapeno peppers, cheese) for $5.95. The burger included a large bowl of soup and a good helping of fries.

My sis got the pancakes with strawberries on top ($5.95), as well as a side of sausage ($2.00).

Our food came out quickly. Almost too quickly, and it was easy to tell that most of it had probably been prepped/cooked earlier.

My soup was good, standard baked potato soup. My burger was good too, the peppers added a nice kick to the burger. The fries were the best part, as they were all crispy and yummy, and absolutely horrible for me :)

My sister didn't fair as well. Her pancakes were okay (nothing special) and  the strawberries were the canned pie filling kind. Nothing worth paying so much for. The sausage was the only part that she really enjoyed.

My meal was pretty sweet for the cost, but I doubt either one of us will be getting pancakes there again.

The portions at this place are incredible.

Order the Gyro Plate ($7.99), and get enough food for 5 meals. I recommend adding extra pitas and sauce, as it only includes two pitas and one cup of sauce.

They'll put basically a whole lamb in the container. It's so good, and the fries are obviously freshly cut.

I love this place and wish it wasn't a 30 minute drive from my house.

I've had yet to try anything else on the menu, but I've heard great things about the burgers and hot dogs! :)

Went here with a group of people.  I got the fettuccine alfredo. It was very rich and creamy and the portion was large. My friends ordered the cheese ravioli, and chicken parmesan, and both of those portions were very large.

Their fried mushrooms were awesome, and the bread basket that they bring to the table was filled with yummy freshly baked bread.

The only reason I took one star away is because of how long it took for us to get our food. I had my friend order for me when I was about 15 minutes away (because they were closing early for a big party and wanted to get the order in), when I got there it was still another 10-15 minutes before we got our food. I'm not sure if this was because they were prepping for the large party, but no one ordered anything extravagant (and we were one of two tables sitting in the restaurant) so pasta shouldn't have taken that long. The food was excellent though, very rich and not good for anyone on a diet :)

This place is yummy!

I always get the salmon salad whenever I go, it's a decent price ($9) for the size. Every night they have drink specials, and I think on Tuesdays it's half of bottles of wine.
