This place was so good! Just as good as our Fave, Burma Superstar. The atmosphere wasn't as nice, but the people were so friendly! They close at 8:30p and let us order food at 8:15p. Then they let us hang out and have another beer while they cleaned up. We will definitely be going back!

Ask for Annie - she's AWESOME!
I'm not the girliest of women, so when I go to a stylist I prefer someone who is friendly, not judgmental and comfortable to talk to. I'm not so good at doing my hair or putting makeup on. I asked Annie if she would teach me some basic makeup techniques for a wedding I was going to be in and she happily agreed. She didn't make fun of me and she didn't make me feel stupid for asking. She taught me how to do it and I looked great!
She also does a great job with my hair. I always walk out of there feeling beautiful with my new color and trim. And happy to have had a good conversation as well :)
Its hard to find a genuinely good person in this world, but I tell you Annie is one of them!

Captain Kirk's San Francisco Sailing

I wanted to give my husband a sailing trip for his birthday and one of my criteria was that he be allowed to sail the boat. So I searched online and found Capt Kirk, who loves to let his passengers get involved. He let us steer and if we wanted to, could have done even more with his instruction. We had about 21 people on the Bay Wolf and the crew showed us a really good time. Every single person that joined us thanked me profusely for arranging this trip. Its a great gift and a great way to see the bay. Capt Kirk also provided a nice lunch for us, which we ate on calmer waters. I would highly recommend this for your next get together!

Frank is AWESOME. He saved Thanksgiving. He came two days before and had our fridge fixed in an hour and a half. He had our compressor on hand because the model breaks down frequently. He was extremely professional and courteous - opened the window and turned on the vent when he had to solder. I highly recommend him for refrigerator repair.

Our refrigerator broke the week before Thanksgiving. We called Pearson's and a guy came out. He didn't exude confidence or anything. He said the compressor was broken and they'd have to take it across the bay to Oakland to fix it.
Two days later he hadn't gotten back to me, so I called him and he said they wouldn't have the part until Dec 7. And he was having a hard time finding us a loner fridge.
WTF? Why so long? And why does it need to go to Oakland? I ended up calling someone else who came and fixed it at our home in an hour and a half, two days BEFORE Thanksgiving.

I won a box of chocolates at the holiday chocolate show and when I went to pick them up I thought it would be like, 4 chocolates. But it was a full box of 12 fantastic, freakin delicious, chocolates. Every person I gave one too said with surprise, "wow that's good".

My husband and I love this place. We go just about once a week. If one of the specials doesn't catch my eye then I order a Lechon Asado - a fantastic pork sandwich. We joke that it should be renamed "the best f*@king sandwich", and the restaurant should be renamed "the place with the best f*@king sandwich". And the chips and salsa - just can't get enough of them!
