Really fun new restaurant with gluten free options including cluten free pasta.  There was only one dish that's escaping me that they were not able to do gluten free.  All food was delicious with good sized portions.  The place isn't huge so if you have a big party, I suggest calling in reservations and they're ONLY OPEN Tuesday to Friday from 5-9pm.  Probably because they're busy catering during the weekend...?  The place is small and only seats about 15-20 happy diners.  Nice place for a romantic date or to celebrate something special. Stayed at the Ace in Seattle and Portland and now here.  I love restoring, reusing and reinventing buildings of the past and Mr Ace does this very well in Seattle and Portland, but the Palm Springs location felt a little off.  Conflicting themes of the "renewal" and relaxing spa amenities clashed with poor or no insulation between rooms and late night parties.  Thankfully I was there when the place was almost completely vacant.  Had I been there during their peak season I'm sure it would have been way too Hard Rock pool partish for me.  A lot of the fixtures and finishes in the rooms were poorly picked out.  They felt forced, jammed up with too many things and didn't mesh well with the art deco and palms springs style.  Up until this place I felt like Ace was pulling it's design from the history of the building and it's location.  The room felt cluttered and messy from the first step in the door unlike the other locations I've been in that feel so simplistic.  Fireplace outside the room was incredible with french doors opening into the space.  Overall, the place is incredible and I'm thankful to have Mr Ace out there in the world building something different for us to experience.

Our Christmas party for work was here.  Last night actually and it's difficult to put a sentence together right now after all the fun.  I'd heard a lot about the place before, but was still blown away by the space.  It's 1st class, amusement park grade quality throughout the whole place.  From the street you'd have little idea how large and capable this place is of showing 500 of your closest friends a good time.  Was not the 1st rodeo for the staff who all seem experienced and handled the event with ease.

I've been to Nekter once or sometimes twice a day for the last few weeks.  Had been going to Banzai Bowl in Costa Mesa, but got tired of the long wait, higher price and a little frustrated with their menu.  Nekter only has 3 acai bowls to choose from, but they're great and the juices are what people are really hooked on.  I've worked my way through about half of the juices now from best tasting sounding to worst and they keep getting better and better.

Prices are VERY reasonable at Nekter.  Low enough to make you wonder if they're making much money.  Their cleansing programs must generate a higher margin than one off juice and acai bowl sales.

Hope to see many more Nekters pop-up around Orange County!

Very unfriendly staff.  Almost walked out after the way the punk behind the counter was talking to my family.  Pizza was good, but not excellent.  It's not a great place to eat at either.  Especially in regards to family friendliness.  Both decor and staff aren't something I'd try and spend more time with.

Fun!  Some of the dog pictures are hilarious.  For all the robots out there, even if you don't require food, but you do enjoy dogs you'll have a good time here..  Food was pretty good too.  Friendly staff

Perfect place to stop if you're in need of a delicious meal and need to stock up on a few groceries.  If you're driving through and just need a few groceries and prefer organic or vegan, etc.. it doesn't get any better.  Friendly staff.

Felt like it had evolved from a solid mom and pop type mexican restaurant.  Everything was slightly, if not greatly, improved.  Kept it simple with enchiladas, but was able to try a few other dishes and everything was delicious.  Except the cactus.  Not everything needs to be experienced at least once.  Cactus was one of those things, but not because it was awful.  It wasn't awful, strange, or good.  It was a waste of space on their menu really.  Shouldn't even be in the picture.

Inside of the restaurant felt cramped, not cozy.  Distracting music selection the night I was there.  Food and service was great.  What I enjoyed most was how familiar all the raw food was to normal non-raw food.  Some places seem to get a little too carried away with new nut cheeses and other unorthodox substitutes and still try and pawn their dishes off as meat loaf or chicken.

Creative, sustainable minded, fun decor, good service and great food.  I'd eat here regularly, if there was one nearby me.  Surprised to see it currently only has 3 stars!
