I have been using Top Notch for many years at multiple homes.  I have always been impressed with their professionalism, great results (Larry is amazing), and great scheduling with reminder postcards.  These guys know what they are doing and I highly recommend them.

I have been working with Home Rental Services for more than a year.  I have been very happy working with them!  They have been doing business for a long time and really know the ins and outs of the property management world.  My favorite thing is that they explain the process to me in ways that I can really understand, and they have done it so many times that they have thought of just about everything!  There are things I never would have even thought of to make sure were covered in the contract.

They do a good job of getting back to my questions as soon as they can... the summer months are busy for them, but I have not had a question go unanswered.  

They are fair and are really trying to make everyone happy... the owners, the renters and everyone else involved (contractors).

I highly recommend Kandy and her team at Home Rental Services!

We have gone to this Minsky's too many times in the past 2 months because we just moved into the area, and the fact that their pizza and pasta is excellent.  The cheese bread sticks are a great way to kick things off.  Then, if I am not feeling like pizza (rare) I order their spicy sausage pasta.  It is marked as one of their specialties on their menu and it is excellent.  Great for leftovers.

The pizza is good too.  I like their wheat crust, especially with the vegetarian pizza, even though I am nowhere near being a vegetarian!  The staff is nice but not overbearing.  I definitely recommend this Minsky's.

I have enjoyed Chen's after recently moving into the neighborhood.  I call in my take out orders and they are always hot and ready to go when I arrive.  They always have a smile for repeat customers!  

The important thing is the food.  It is good for the price and above average when compared to a buffet or some of the other fast food Chinese takeouts in town.

I would recommend their Kung Pao chicken or beef dishes in a combo with an egg roll or goon.  Yum!

I have been training and diving with Midwest Aquatics since 1998.  Back then they were located at College and Quivira.  I learned to scube dive with Gordon and Darin and I loved how patient they were.  I ask a lot of questions, and they did a great job answering everything in a way that I could understand the concepts.  This was important to me because I want to be safe while diving.

When they built their new facility at 161st and Metcalf, I was excited.  They finally had a pool that was located in the same building!  The classrooms are large and comfortable and they have a ton of room for equipment that you can rent or try out before you buy.

With any hobby, a thriving community makes it more fun for everyone involved.  Once I learned how to dive (I got my advanced certification as well) I was interested in getting to the ocean.  Midwest Aquatics has a bunch of organized trips every year.  I have been to Cozumel, Bimini, Saba, Barbados, the Sicorro Islands and the Bahamas on liveaboards and more.  Not bragging, just saying that having a bunch of regular diving friends to share new experiences with is what keeps me coming back for more.

I highly recommend the people at Midwest Aquatics.  They are good people and want to make sure you are a safe diver and having a blast doing something that many never get to experience!

Trista and I had dinner at Capital Grill today to celebrate Valentine's Day. Our reservation was for 5:30pm but we got there at 5pm and they sat us immediately.

Our favorite entree is their Kona encrusted steak with a side of potatoes.  That is what we both ordered. When the steaks came out, one was not as we had ordered and they corrected the problem right away. They also gave us complimentary dessert for the delay.  Flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée.

Michael was attentive and very professional and the food was fantastic as usual. Capital Grill is one of our favorite places to go for special occasions and this visit hit our high standards for this holiday!!!  I highly recommend Capital Grill.

Had a late dinner at Barley's tonight due to Ash Wednesday service at church. The KSU game was on and the house was packed. Trista just got off work and met me to have a drinky drink.

She ordered a Coconut Cluster that was served hot and she enjoyed it.

I ordered the Barley's Burger with sweet potato fries (oh yeah) and cottage cheese.
Fantastic.

Rachel was our server and she was nice and attentive.  Great neighborhood bar and food as well as a ridiculous number of beers on tap.

We had a great lunch at Chili's today. Nate was our server and he rocked. I was surprised to see an offering that competes with Olive Garden. Chilis now offers an all you can soup and salad. This comes with bottomless chips and salsa as well.  All for around 7 bucks.  I had that and it was great.

Chilis has new menus and they removed one of Trista's favorite sandwiches, the Cajun Chicken Sandwich.  They were still willing and able to make it though when we asked. Great lunch, service and music. All of 5 stars for me!

I had lunch at this Zarda BBQ today and it was excellent.  I was surprised when I read some of the other reviews here on http://Yelp.com and can only assume that the hundreds of raving Zarda BBQ fans don't know about http://Yelp.com yet.  :)

I had a pulled pork BBQ sandwich, onion rings, BBQ beanies and a soda.  Everything a growing boy needs.  (grin)  The woman that took my order had a smile and was friendly.  The food came out quickly and was piping hot.  The restaurant was clean and full, even at 2pm (I had a late lunch)

Zarda BBQ is a Kansas City tradition and I am proud to give them five stars and hope other fans get off their rears and write some posts in here!

I had lunch today at Fortune Wok. Great atmosphere, music was Enya and other New Age artists. I was in a slight hurry to get lunch prior to my 1pm appointment.  The food was on my table 7 minutes after I ordered and was delicious as always. I recommend the Wok Fired Chicken with Peanuts. Service was attentive but not intrusive. I really enjoy this restaurant!
