I've had not one but two horrible experiences at Aspire. The first horrible experience was when I went one afternoon with my fiance for some lunch. We were the only people in the restaurant. There were three people outside drinking. My fiance ordered the Margarita pizza and I ordered the portobello mushroom pizza. We also ordered a couple of beers. First off i noticed that my beer glass was filthy. I tried to get our server's attention but she was too busy talking to the bartender. Finally when she came over I asked and got a new beer glass. When our food came out I noticed the mushrooms looked a little weird. The server was lingering around the table as I went to take my first bite. Once I bit the slice, I immediately spit it out. She asked me what was wrong. I told her that sausage was all over my pizza. She was like "Yeah, that's what you wanted". I said that's definitely not what I wanted since I am a vegetarian. She said "Oops" and took the pizza away. I couldn't believe that.
Even though that experience was bad, we decided to go back for my friend's birthday dinner. The place was fairly busy. The server was extremely nice but apparently he was the only server on duty and had to deal with the entire restaurant. Once the food arrived, we noticed that three out of the four dinners were wrong and inedible. I asked for no onions and onions were all over my pizza. Another dinner was served burnt. And the birthday girl's pasta looked and tasted like it was dressed with gel. The server apologized and asked if we wanted anything else but we said no and left.
I don't understand how a restaurant that is supposed to be high end could give its patrons such poor experiences every time they go there. Needless to say, I am never going back.

First with the good. The food was excellent. There were four people at our table and we were all happy with our food. Our server was very nice.
Now the bad. Do not come to restaurant if you have any time restraints. It took us so long to get out food. The place was probably a quarter full yet it took us practically an hour to get out food. We didn't have an appetizers so we just sat there eating bread the whole time. If you want to go out for a leisurely dinner with friends and not worry about time, then Aspire will be good for you.
The second issue was the gnats. There were gnats flying everywhere and it was very annoying. We spent half the time making sure they didn't dive into our drinks. Yes, they have doors that open up to the patio but I've been in plenty of restaurants with doors open to the outside and I've never seen a problem like that before unless the restaurant was originally dirty. It's not a great look for your restaurant when everyone at the table is swatting bugs out of their faces.
I appreciate the restaurant to reaching out to me after seeing my last review and them wanting to make it better. This experience was definitely better but there are issues they still need to work on. The only way I could see myself going back to Aspire was if someone else was paying, and only after I tell them about my past experiences there.
