Bottom line: Doesn't live up to the hype - sampled flavors were only okay... Prices are well, pricey, and you don't get a lot of selection. Employee had a pretentious take it or leave it attitude - I almost didn't order but decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, I was given a very skimpy scoop of two flavors (banana and mint chip) - the balled up kind with more air in the middle than gelato. Not worth it.

Lots of flavors to choose from and today's employee should be commended for allowing us to choose a number of flavors to sample, as well as suggesting and building multiple flavors for us to try.
I like how we were able to get up to 4 flavors in a medium size. We got the nutella, pumpkin, chocolate orange, and peanut butter chip. DELISH.
Loved the outdoor patio seating and service was great (empty plates were promptly removed). Only complaint was that the buffet selection wasn't abundant, but the basics were there and tasted great. We'll be back!

Last night was our second visit since the opening and the pizza once again did not disappoint. I definitely recommend going before 7 p.m. as the best ingredients run out the quickest. Better yet, call beforehand and your pizza will be ready for you like clockwork... cuz Keith is really that good.
My favorite toppings so far are the sopressata and mushrooms together - delish. Make sure you're there when the pizza comes out piping hot - freshness at its best!

One thing that has changed, for the better, is that service is off the hook... Our plates were changed after eating the XLB's, water was consistently refilled, and empty dishes were promptly removed. Props to the management and hardworking employees for that!

Yes, we come here for the XLB's - which are generally great. But I also have to recommend the Lion's Head - meatballs with cabbage. I haven't found a place that makes it better. The meatballs are so addictive - so soft and flavorful - yes, they melt in your mouth. Those two items are always ordered, and sometimes a veggie or tofu dish. Mmm!
I was tempted to try the all-you-can-eat but didn't know that they offered it seven days a week until after we had ordered... Next time!

I also ordered two soups - the matzoh ball soup for my sick husband and a mushroom barley soup. He liked the mushroom barley soup better, which I also sampled, and it was fantastic. I thought the soups were a bit expensive for the quantity you get but definitely no complaints about the taste.
My only caveat is that I don't recommend getting the items to go. Even though I ate the items about 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant, anything with sauce in it (the wraps) were sadly gloppy and a saucy mess. The aluminum doesn't properly hold in the juices so eat your wrap with a plate!
I do have a quick suggestion for Cupcates in terms of to go packaging... I was pretty put off that when I asked for a to go container for my cupcake, it was put *directly* into a brown paper bag. Like, ew??? Brown paper bags are often meant to hide things - like XXX magazines and liquor bottles. How demeaning to put your own cupcake product into a brown bag! While I was driving home, I kept glancing over at the sad brown paper bag and the two grease stains forming on the bag. Not appetizing! And what if you were to bring a cupcake over for a friend? Not in that packaging!
If you want fairly instantaneous gratification, the crepes come out quick, hot, and delicious! Take one for the road...

The salads are okay - not quite hitting the mark like before but at least my beloved poppy seed dressing is still there. However, the biggest difference in taste is in the sandwiches. The bread sucks now (thought we couldn't taste the difference??) and I think the sandwich meat does too. There's something cheap-tasting in the sandwiches overall. Definitely not the Intermezzo I loved during and after college. Oh well.
So, I definitely won't be back. What for? The flies buzzing around? Disgusting!
