I've got really short hair, and normally I just go to a student salon and pay $5. Why shell out a ton for a few inches of hair? After some ok cuts, and one with a bit of an awkward patch, I decided I just wanted to find a salon and a stylist I could just keep seeing and not have to worry. Short hair isn't harder, but it's super easy to tell when it's botched and there's no way of hiding it.
Enter BHHH and Brenna. They were super busy, but I called earlier in the morning and was able to get an appointment. I didn't specifically ask for Brenna, but who ever did the scheduling paired me up well! She listened to what I wanted and asked about how I take care of my hair now... She was able to make suggestions that fit into my styling lifestyle (that is, I can just wash it, tousle it, and go!)..
$50 is still more than I'd like to spend on a haircut... but to get the peace of mine that I can just sit down and say "I just want it to look good" and get what I asked for... worth it. (Also well worth the trip down all the way from Rogers Park.)
Brenna and BHHH, you've got yourself a new regular client.
(My only suggestion is to bring your own reading material just in case it does it busy.)
